Purpose To investigate the significance of arterial phase display of right ovarian vein (ROV) for patients with pelvic congestion syndrome (PCS) through multi-slice CT angiography (MSCTA) Materials and Methods Forty-three patients with PCS confirmed clinically who underwent MSCTA were involved in the study. Revascularization was realized via add vessel volume rendering technique and maximum intensity projection (MIP) and the relationships among ROV early development, location of converging vascular, development of LOV and pelvic draining veins were analyzed. Results Out of 43 cases of ROV early development during arterial phase, 21 cases (48.8%) took ROV as draining vein of PCS, among which 17 cases (81.0%) converged into the inferior cava vena. In 19 cases (44.2%), ROV took part in the formation of PCS, all originating from the main right renal vein. Three cases (7.0%) were renal vein-derived PCS, among which two ROV originated from the main right renal vein and one from the branch of the right renal vein. Conclusion According to the imaging features of bilateral ovarian veins and pelvic veins, ROV, as draining veins, is associated with the formation of PCS.

ObjectiveTo summarize the experience of percutaneous nephrolithotomy under flexible ureteroscope in the treatment of staghorn calculi.Method The clinical data of 30 patieits with staghorn calculi undergoing percutaneous nephrolithotomy under flexible ureteroscope were reviewed for summarizing the surgical cooperation experience.Results All operations were successful,with the clearance rates of stage one and stage two calculi 86.0% and 95.0%,respectively.There occurred one case of massive hemorrhage,but no cases of kidney perforation,peritoneal perforation,liquid pneumothorax or organ damage.Conclusion Well-prepared surgical cooperation,full mastery of surgical procedures and skilled cooperation can increase surgical efficiency and safety by shortening surgical duration.

Objective To investigate the radiosensitizing effect of knock-down the expression of miR-21 on human SHG-44 glioma cells and explore the possible mechanism. Methods Antisense oligonuleotidas of miR-21, mediated by LipofectamineTM 2000, were transfected to SHG-44 cells. Three groups were: blank control group ( mock group), negative control and antisense transfected group ( AS-miR-21 gorup). Cells of each group were irradiated with 6 MeV X-rays at the doses of 0,1,2,4,6 and 8 Gy.Dose-suvivial curve was established by colony-forming assay. The influence of AS-miR-21 on cell cycle and cell apoptosis was analyzed by flow cytometry assay after 6 Gy irradiation. Results The value of D0 and Dq of AS-miR-21 group declined obviously compared with the mock group and negative control group. Flow cytometric analysis showed that cell cycle distribution changed( G0/G1 phase arrest, S phase decreased)after transfected with AS-miR-21 (t = 8.18, -4.52,P ＜ 0.05 ). The sensitization enhancement ratios of D0 and Dq were 1.32 and 2.10 respectively. Apoptosis assay showed the early apoptosis rate was signiflcantely increased in AS-miR-21 、irradition alone and combined group than mock control group( t = 20.14,11.11,50.07, P ＜ 0.05). Conclusions AS-miR-21 can enhance the radiosensitivity of human glioma cells SHG-44 by promoting cell apoptosis and faciliating cell cycle redistribution.

Objective To investigate radioactivity levels in the main agriculture products around a uranium mine in Northern Guangxi.Methods The agriculture products and soil samples were collected and analyzed by using HPGe gamma ray spectrometer.Results The specific activity of 226Ra in radish (including leaf),radish leaves and radish,collected in one place,were 45.0,66.7 and 32.3 Bq/kg,respectively.Those of 226Ra and 23SU in the radish soil collected in the same place were 19 672 and 85 917 Bq/kg,respectively.The transfer coefficients of soil-to-radish and soil-to-leaves were 1.61 × 10-3 and 3.40 × 10-3,consistent with those reported in relevant literature.Radioactivity levels in agricultural products in another survey was in consistence with those in the national survey for food products.Radioactivity levels in soil elsewhere near the radish site was consistent with the results of the national soil radioactivive background survey.Conclusions The soil in this place has been contaminated by the nearby uranium mine.It is important to investigate this place further and take the necessary measures.

OBJECTIVE: To screen and identify the frequency and characteristic of mutation in stereocilium-related gene Taperin of Chinese prelingual nonsyndromic hearing impairment with DNA microarray combined with PCR. METHOD: One hundred and thirty-four patients of prelingual nonsyndromic deafness and one hundred health individuals in China were investigated in this study. Genomic DNA was extracted from the patients and was subjected to DNA microarray to screen mutations in 4 most common genes. The samples that carried none of the common mutant alleles were subjected to PCR and sequenced to detect mutations in Taperin gene. RESULT: Ninteen out of one hundred and thirty-four patients of prelingual nonsyndromic deafness were detected carring common deafness gene with DNA microarray. Taperin gene were detected in one hundred and fifteen patients with PCR. A187S was detected in Taperin as hetrozygous state in 2 patients and their unaffected members of their family. It occurred at the evolutionary conservation of the amino acids of taperin according to alignment analysis. Two polymorphism, 157C>T and 318C>T, were found in the patients and the control group. CONCLUSION A novel Taperin mutation, A187S was detected in Chinese patients with prelingual nonsyndromic hearing loss, which may be relevant to hearing loss. Two polymorphism, 157C>T and 318C>T, were found in Chinese in our research. The carrier frequency for Taperin mutation is about 1.74% of prelingual nonsyndromic deafness in Chinese patients.

Poly(diallyldimethylammonium chloride)(PDDA) was chosen to disperse multi-walled carbon nanotubes(MWCNTs) to prepare the stable PDDA-MWCNTs aqueous dispersion. Then, the positively charged PDDA-MWCNTs composite and negatively charged choline oxidase(ChOx) were employed to fabricate multilayer films on platinum(Pt) electrodes by layer-by-layer self-assembly technique, the anti-interferential film of Nafion was dropped at the end of the last multilayer films. The results showed that MWCNTs were evenly dispersed within the PDDA films and the multilayer films of (PDDA-MWCNTs)_n could improve the catalytic current response to choline significantly with the increased number of the multilayer films. The optimum assembly number was 6. The choline biosensor fabricated showed good linear correlation from 5×10~(-6)-2.5×10~(-4) mol/L with a detection limit of 2×10~(-6) mol/L(S/N=3), and the sensitivity was 21.97 mA/mol with a response time of 6.6 s, the RSD was less than 5%(n=3). Moreover, the biosensor exhibited an excellent anti-interferential property and a good stability.

ObjectiveTo evaluate the application of multi-slice CT (MSCT) perfusion scan technique in predicting renal function recovery after unilateral hydronephrosis treatment.MethodsThirtyeight patients with unilateral obstructive hydronephrosis not shown on intravenous urography (IVU) and a normal contralateral kidney were recruited for this study.Patients were divided into detected (D) and undetected (UD) groups depending on whether the IVU detected urinary tract obstruction.All patients underwent plain abdominal X-ray,gray-scale ultrasonography,excretory urography and MSCT perfusion scan before and after the treatment.Patients were followed-up at six months or more after the treatment for a mean duration of 12.5 months (range from 6 to 22 ).ResultsOf the 38 cases,22 cases were in group D,16 cases were in group UD.On MSCT,renal cortex blood flow (BF) and blood volume ( BV ) value after treatment in group D were 561.1 ± 165.4 ml/( 100 g · min) and 35.9 ± 11.3 ml/100 g compared with before treatment rates of 361.6 ±109.7 ml/(100g· min) and24.1 ±10.2 ml/100g,t=-3.38,-2.34,P＜0.01,0.05.In the UD group,the differences of these parameters were after treatment 38.7 ± 15.4 ml/(100 g · min),10.306 ± 4.925 ml/100 g and before treatment 39.1 ± 22.5 ml/( 100 g · min) and 8.7 ± 4.4 ml/100 g,P ＞ 0.05.In the aspects of BF and BV,there were statistically significant differences between group D and group U D both before and after the treatment,t=9.09,4.15,P ＜ 0.01.ConclusionsM SCT perfusion can provide a valuable prediction technique of the renal function recovery in patients with unilateral obstructive hydronephrosis.Improvement of renal function can be expected after relief of obstructive hydronephrosis if the patients have a BF 361.6 ml/( 100 g · min) and BV 24.1 ml/100 g or greater measured by MSCT perfusion.

Objective To systematically evaluate the relation between prognostic nutrition index (PNI) and prognosis of bladder cancer (BC) patients treated with radical cystectomy (RC). Methods We searched the literatures about the relation between PNI and the prognosis of patients treated with radical cystectomy published from the inception to January 30, 2021 in PubMed, Embase, Web of Science, CNKI, Wanfang, VIP and Chinese Medical Journal Database, and used RevMan5.3 software for Meta analysis. Results We included six literatures which comprise a total of 1273 patients. The results showed that there was a significant correlation between low PNI and OS of BC patients treated with RC (HR=2.0, 95%CI: 1.56-2.56), and there was a significant difference in RFS, PFS and DSS between low PNI and BC patients treated with RC (HR=1.93, 95%CI: 1.51-2.48). In the subgroup analysis, there were statistical differences in PNI and the prognosis of BC patients treated with RC between the Chinese group (HR=2.13, 95%CI: 1.62-2.81) and the Japanese group (HR=1.78, 95%CI: 1.08-2.94), and the PNI cutoff value had a good predictive effect on the prognosis of patients in the range of 46.08-51.30. Conclusion There is a significant relation between the level of PNI and OS of bladder cancer patients treated with radical cystectomy. Low PNI can be used as an effective marker to predict the prognosis of patients.

Objective:To observe the efficacy of tedrogesterone tablets combined with clomiphene on polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS) with infertility, and investigate its influence on serum levels of apolipoprotein B/apolipoprotein A1 ratio(ApoB/ApoA1), anti-mullerian hormone(AMH), advanced glycation end products(AGEs).Methods:From January 2017 to December 2018, 80 PCOS patients with infertility who met the criteria were screened and randomly divided into control group and observation group according to the digital table, with 40 cases in each group.The control group received clomiphene 50 mg/d, qd, and for 5 consecutive days.In the observation group, on the basis of the control group, tedrosterone tablet was added, 10 mg/time and qd, and continuously administered for 21 days.The two groups were treated for 4 menstrual cycles.The ovarian volume, follicular development, pregnancy rate, hormone levels, the endometrial receptivity, and serum ApoB/ApoA1, AMH, AGEs levels were compared between the two groups.Results:After treatment, the ovarian volume[(5.62±0.87)cm 3]of the observation group was significantly smaller than that of the control group[(7.94±1.03)cm 3]( t=7.722, P=0.000), and the maximum diameter of follicles in the observation group[(13.30±2.04)mm] was significantly larger than that in the control group[(11.12±1.83)mm]( t=5.530, P=0.0001). The pregnancy rate in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group(χ 2=4.990, P=0.025). The serum levels of follicle stimulating hormone(FSH)[(4.80±0.56)IU/L], luteinizing hormone(LH)[(7.35±0.11)IU/L], uterine pulse index(PI)(2.77±0.41), and uterine artery resistance index(RI)(0.61±0.09) in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group( t=5.003, P=0.000; t=6.449, P=0.000; t=5.304, P=0.000; t=5.008, P=0.000), and the estradiol(E 2)[(190.51±23.11)ng/L] and endometrial thickness[(10.11±1.57)mm] were significantly higher than those in the control group( t=38.521, P=0.000; t=6.001, P=0.000). The serum levels of ApoB/ApoA1(0.62±0.08), AMH[(4.13±0.61)μg/L], and AGEs[(118.04±13.35)ng/L] in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group( t=5.553, P=0.000; t=5.790, P=0.000; t=18.043, P=0.000). Conclusion:The efficacy of tedrogesterone tablets combined with clomiphene on PCOS with infertility is significant, and can down-regulate serum levels of ApoB/ApoA1, AMH, and AGEs.

OBJECTIVE: To explore the effects of specific immunotherapy by the nasal spray and/or sublingual contain on the regulation the balance of serum Th1/Th2 cell ratio, and the expression of total IgE (tIgE) level in perennial allergic rhinitis patients. METHOD: Thirty-six cases of allergic rhinitis of perennial (PAR) patients with nasal specific immunotherapy (nasal spray group) were chosen as the object of study, 36 PAR patients with sublingual specific immunotherapy (sublingual group) were chosen for the efficacy comparison group, and 32 cases of healthy adults as control (normal control group). The levels of serum IL-2, IL-4, IL-8 and tIgE in PAR nasal spray group and sublingual group were examined by IRMA and double-antibody sandwich assay before and after the treatment of specific immunotherapy (SIT); The content of IFN-gamma was determined by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay; The infiltration and changes of eosinophilic granulocyte were observed by the smear of nasal secretions. RESULT: In nasal spray group and sublingual group, the contents of serum Th1 cytokines IL-2 and IFN-gamma were reduced levels significantly, while the contents of Th2 cytokines IL-4, IL-8 and tIgE were significantly increased before the treatment of SIT. After the SIT to the maintenance dose, the levels of IL-2 and IFN-gamma in serum were significantly higher than that before treatment, while IL-4, IL-8 and tIgE content were significantly lower in AR patients (P < 0.01 or P < 0.05). The clinical efficacy of nasal spray group and sublingual group were 97.22% and 94.44%, while the two groups was no statistical difference in efficacy (P > 0.05). CONCLUSION With the presence of Th1/Th2 cell ratio and cytokine imbalance, the AR patients manifested as Th2 cell function in accentuation. Nasal mucosa and/or sublingual in the local SIT can have changed no-balance Th1/Th2 cell of by regulating the balance of serum Th1/Th2 cell ratio, the expression level of cytokine expression and the level of tIgE.
