Objective To evaluate facial nerve(FN),cochlear nerve(CN)development by magnetic resonance hydrography of the inner ear.Methods 91 cases with normal hearing infants from 0 to 36 months underwent MR head scan and magnetic resonance hydrography of the inner ear.FN,CN long diameter (LD)and short diameter (SD)in oblique sagittal reconstruction imaging were measured.Results 91 cases(182 ears)were divided to 0-12 months as 1st,group (N=35),13-24 months as the 2ed,group (N=36),25-36 months as the 3rd,group (N=20)according to age,in which FN (154 ears,84.6%),CN(170 ears,93.4%)were showed clearly.FN’s LD, SD and Cross-section area(CSA)were 0.76 mm± 0.14 mm,0.50 mm± 0.12 mm,0.30 mm± 0.11 mm,and CN ’s LD,SD and CSA were 0.98 mm± 0.14 mm,0.63 mm± 0.11 mm,0.49 mm± 0.13 mm respectively comparison between groups it was showed that in hearing normal infant growth process,CN,FN development did not vary and change for the left and right side,gender and age.Conclusion MRI measurement of FN,CN diameter and cross-sectional area size provides an important reference on the assess-ment of CN,FN growth condition in infants with normal hearing.

Cancer pain seriously affects the quality of life of patients and could disturb normal cancer treatment. Therefore, ap-propriate drugs should be chosen to control the pain. Transdermal fentanyl is a type of potent opioid that is widely used in controlling moderate and severe cancer pains. This paper reviews the pharmacological characteristics of transdermal fentanyl and its clinical appli-cation in cancer pain management.

Objective To evaluate the effect of dexmedetomidine postconditioning combined with limb ischemic postconditioning on myocardial ischemia-reperfusion (I/R) injury in rats.Methods Fifty male Sprague-Dawley rats,aged 2-3 months,weighing 275-335 g,were randomly divided into 5 groups (n =10 each) using a random number table:sham operation group (group S);I/R group;dexmedetomidine postconditioning group (group DP);limb ischemic postconditioning group (group LP);dexmedetomidine postconditioning combined with limb ischemic postconditioning group (group DLP).Myocardial I/R was induced by occlusion of the left anterior descending branch of coronary artery for 30 min followed by 180 min reperfusion.At 15 min before reperfusion,dexmedetomidine 50 μg/kg was injected intraperitoneally in DP and DLP groups,while normal saline 0.5 ml was injected intraperitoneally in I/R and LP groups.In LP and DLP groups,the animals underwent 10 min ischemia of bilateral hind limbs starting from 10 min before reperfusion,followed by reperfusion.Blood samples were taken from the internal carotid artery at 180 min of reperfusion for determination of the plasma creatine kinase-MB (CK-MB) and glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px) activities and the concentrations of cardiac troponin I (cTnI),malondialdehyde (MDA),interleukin-1beta (IL-1β),IL-6 and tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α).Myocardial specimens were obtained at 180 min of reperfusion for determination of the myocardial infarct size.Results Compared with group S,the plasma CK-MB activity,myocardial infarct size and plasma cTnI,MDA,TNF-α,IL-1β and IL-6 concentrations were significantly increased,and GSH-Px activity was significantly decreased in I/R,DP,LP and DLP groups (P＜0.05).Compared with group I/R,the plasma CK-MB activity,myocardial infarct size and plasma cTnI,MDA,TNF-α,IL-1β and IL-6 concentrations were significantly decreased,and the GSH-Px activity was significantly increased in DP,LP and DLP groups (P<0.05).Compared with DP and LP groups,the plasma CK-MB activity,myocardial infarct size and plasma cTnI,MDA,TNF-α,IL-1β and IL-6 concentrations were significantly decreased,and the GSH-Px activity was significantly increased in group DLP (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion Dexmedetomidine postconditioning combined with limb ischemic postconditioning provides better efficacy than either alone in reducing the myocardial I/R injury in rats,and the mechanism may be related to the inhibition of lipid peroxidation and systemic inflammatory responses.

OBJECTIVE:To probe into the factors restricting the informationization construction of the medical logistics and to facilitate the informationization construction in China.METHODS:The restricting factors for the logistics'informationization construction and the causes were discussed starting from the trade characteristics of medical logistics by literature reviewing and observation.RESULTS & CONCLUSIONS:The imperfect trade system,the lack of interdisciplinary talents, and the lagged IT technology were the factors restricting the informationization construction of the medical logistics.However, the impacts of these restricting factors can be reduced by developing the third party special pharmaceutical logistics which is helpful for medical logistics'informationization construction.

The strain, Bacillus amyloliquefaciens BF 7658 possesses the ability to produce protease and some other enzyme as well as ?-amylase. In the experiment, we have observed interference of protease with ?-amylase. If the relative ratio of activity of ?-amylase to protease was 13 : 1, 21 : 1, 27 : 1, the ?-amylase activity of culture incubated at 37℃ for 24h decreased 27.42% and 8.8% respectively. Purified ?-amylase lost the activity about 13—17% by incubation with the protease in 0.2mol/L phosphate buffer pH7.9 at 37℃ for 24h. It is confirmed that protease is one of fatters of unstability of ?-amylase.The pH and temperature affected the stability of both enzymes when cultures were heated in a 60℃ bath for 30 min. Protease activity lost about 90% and ?-amylase activity almost remained unchange.The stability of ?-amylase can be increased by adding 0.01mol/L calcium ion at pH7.0 and treating at high temperature (70℃), but protease activity is inaetivited completely. Different strains and culture conditions also affected the production ratio of ?-amylase and protease. Some strains produced high level of ?-amylase but low level of protease have been obtained.

Purpose: To improve the therapeutic resp onse and survival of pancereatic cancer trcated with radiothcrapy and arterial i nfusion chemotherapy. Methods:44 patients with stage Ⅱ-Ⅲpancreatic cancer were div ided into two groups:24parients were treated with three-dimensional conformal radiothreapy(3DCRT)plus regional intra-arterial infusion chemotherapy(CT)a nd 20 patients recived 3DCRT alone. Results:The rates were 75% in 3DCRT+CT group,and 80% in 3DCRT g roup,respectively.The 1-,2-year survival rates were 70.8%,50% and 50%,15%,the difference in 2-year survival between these two groups was statistically signif icant(P

p53,the widely studied tumor suppressor gene ,plays a key role in regulating cell cycle ,repai-ring DNA damages , eliminating free radicals and regulating immune responses and so on .The recent studies showed that p53 mutation was in close biological connections with the occurrence , development , infiltration and metastasis in over 50 percent digestive systemic malignant tumors .In view of the current researches ,we review the biological features of p53,the relationship between p53 and digestive systemic malignant tumors ,and gene therapy of p53 to provide references for the pathogenesis ,diagnosis,treatment and prognosis of digestive systemic malig-nant tumors in this paper .

Objective This study was designed to investigate the relationship between COX-2 and VEGF-C in human gastric carcinomas and discuss the significance of COX-2、VEGF-C in lymph mode metastasis.Methods Forty-two gastric carcinoma tissues and twenty adjacent noncancerous specimens were obtained from surgical resections.COX-2,VEGF-C protein expression was evaluated by immunohistochemical analysis.Results (1)COX-2 was overexpressed in 25 of 42 carcinoma tissues (59.5%) and VEGF-C was 27 of 42(64.3%),which were significantly higher than those in noncancerous tissues (P0.05).(3)There was positive correlation between the expression of COX-2 and VEGF-C(r=0.425,P

Sump syndrome is a rare complication of side-to-side choledochoduodenostomy (CDD) and occasionally occurs after spontaneous gallbladder-bile duct-digestive tract fistula or end-to-side choledochojejunostomy.Before the development of minimally invasive surgery,conventional surgical operation used to be the most important treatment method.This article reviews the research advances in sump syndrome in recent years and points out that endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography is the major diagnostic method for this disease,and endoscopic sphincterotomy combined with bile duct debridement is the most simple and effective measure for the treatment of sump syndrome.Meanwhile,this article briefly reviews sump syndrome with reference to related literature and clinical practice,in order to raise the awareness for sump syndrome.
