Journal of Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine 1999;0(02):-
Objective To observe the influences of ether soaking method, solven t refluxing method and steam distilling method on the content and chemical compo nents of volatile oil from Lignum Santali. Methods Gas chromatograph_mass sp ectrogram (GC_MS) analysis was adopted. Results The content of santalol in t he oi l from Lignum Santali extracted by ether soaking was a little higher than that i n the volatile oil extracted by steam distilling, and their chemical components are similar. The total content of volatile oil extracted by solvent refluxing me thod was 3.35%, much higher than that by steam distilling metho d. GC_MS analysis showed the content of santalol and other chemical components a re similar by the two methods. Conclusion Ether soaking method can be used f or the qualitative analysis of volatile oil from Lignum Santali. Extraction of s antalum oil by steam distilling method is incomplete.

Objective: To explore the characteristics of graduate students' mental deference style. Methods:1960 graduate students and 3281 college students were assessed with DSQ. Results:The score of graduate students on mature deference style were higher than immature and middle style (3.88?1.02/4.14?1.0,5.68?1.17/5.76?1.06,4.41?0.77/4.58?0.69). The mean score of female graduate students' immature style were higher than male (3.97?0.89/3.85?1.07,t=2.62,P

Objective To study the effects of two fungal elicitors on the growth of Dendrobium candidum protocorms cultured on the solid medium. Methods The medium for propagation of protocorms was selected and the growth curve on that medium was obtained.According to the curve, the two fungal elicitors were added at the different growth stages of protocorms. The fresh weight(FW) and dry weight(DW) of protocorms were measured. Results The medium for propagation of protocorms was 1/2MS+20% potato extract+3% sucrose+0.8% agar.Compared with the control MF23 elicitor added at weeks 11 and 13 could significantly increase the FW by 16.4%(P

Traditional Chinese Drug Research & Clinical Pharmacology 1993;0(03):-
Objective To determine the appropriate collecting -time of Exocarpium citri grandis, the chemical compo-sition in Exocarpium citri grandis in different fruit -ages was compare d and analyzed. Methods Contents of naringein and bergapten were compared by TLC an d the total dihydroflavones in Exocarpium citri grandis was determined by spec-trophotometmic analysis with detection wavelength at 384nm.Results With the increase of fruit -age,the c ontents of naringein and total dihydroflavones in Exocarpium citri grandis decreased and the content of bergapt en increased.Con-clusion Fruit -age has an obviously effect on the chemical composition in Exocarpium citri grandis and collecting -time can influence the quality of medicin e materials.Further studies of Exocarpium citri grandis should be combined pharma-codynamics for fixing collecting -t ime.

Chinese Traditional Patent Medicine 1992;0(02):-
Objective: To determinate the content of isoimperatorin in Exocarpium citri grandis from 10 various species and origins. Methods: The isoimperatorin was determinated at 305nm by TLC Scanning. Results: The content of isoimperatorin in Exocarpium citri grandis was very low, and the law of distribution could not be found. Conclusion: Although the content of isoimperatorin in Exocarpium citri grandis was very low, the method is very sensitive and simple and the result is accurate.

Object To establish the HPLC fingerprint of flavonoids in Exocarpium Citri Grandis (ECG) Methods HPLC fingerprint of ten samples were established. The naringin was used as standard. The relative migration time and the percentage of peak area were used as parameters Results More than 30 peaks occurred on the HPLC fingerprint of flavonoids of ECG. The fingerprints of C. grandis ‘Tomentosa’ and C. grands had obivous differences Conclusion The method is simple and accurate with a good reproducibility. It could be used for quality control and identification of ECG

Chinese Journal of Hepatobiliary Surgery 1998;0(06):-
Objective To discuss the modern surgical treatments for congenital choledochal cysts complicated with anomalous junction of pancreaticobiliary ductal system through analyzing data in 30 cases. Methods The 30 cases were diagnosed with ERCP, MRCP, cholangiography or dissection, respectively. Then 28 of them were treated with external drainage (n=2), internal drainage (n=9) and Roux-en-Y hepaticojejunostomy (n=22), respectively. Of the 28, 5 received operations twice. Results External drainage was helpful in emergency cases while internal drainage frequently resulted in recurrent cholangitis, choledocholith, anastomotic stenosis or cyst malignancy that needed to be operated on again. Choledochocyst resection and pancreaticobiliary shunt achieved satisfactory results. Conclusions Congenital choledochal cyst is usually complicated with anomalous junction of pancreaticobiliary ductal system (88.2%). As for its treatment, choledochocyst resection, pancreaticobiliary shunt and hepaticojejunostomy should be of the first choice.

Objective To establish a method of fingerprint analysis on Huai Chrysanthemum mori-folium in Henan Province by GC.Methods The GC method was applied with a fiber column(30 m ? 320 ?m,0.25 ?m)coated with HP-5(5%)-diphenypolysiloxane.The detector was FID detector; The temperature of the detector was 180 ℃;Nitrogen was used as the carrier gas with its flow rate 2.3 mL/min;The flow rate of atmosphere was 300 mL/min,and the flow rate of hydrogen was 30 mL/min in temperature programmer. The fingerprint of Huai C.morifolium in Henan Province was established. Results Twenty-seven common peaks were found in GC fingerprint of Huai C.morifolium in Henan Province and good similarities with correlation coefficients over 0.9 were found in the fingerprints compared between the fingerprint of Huai C.morifolium in Henan Province from different sources and standard fingerprint. Conclusion The method is accuate, simple, and can be used for the quality control of Huai C.morifoliumin Henan Province.
