Chinese Journal of Diabetes 2005;13(5):370,372-
The study of cases with T2DM(n=60) and normal control(n=46) showed that T2DM group exhibited the higher level of leptin and lower level of soluble leptin receptor than did(normal) control.
2.Endovascular treatment of lower extremity atherosclerosis obliterans
International Journal of Surgery 2011;38(12):822-824
Atherosclerosis obliterans of lower extremity artery mainly involve the aorto-lliac artery,femoral-popliteal artery and below-knee arteries. At present the major treatment of the disease is endovascular treatment.Due to anatomical differences between the three arteries, the principles and effect of endovascular treatment are different. The endovascular treatment of iliac- femoral lesions, because of its patency rate not lower than surgery, has become the preferred way.On account of the high incidence of femoral- popliteal lesions and the dissatisfaction for patency rate, the endovascular treatment of femoral-popliteal lesions has become a hot research.Endovascular therapy in the below-knee arteries is still in the exploration, currently a small balloon-based.
3.Clinical advance of orthotopic bladder replacement after radical cystectomy
Cancer Research and Clinic 2008;20(3):207-210
The surgical technique of total bladder replacement orthotopic intestinal neobladder has already been a well accepted method for urinary tract reconstruction after cystectomy in woad wide medical center in past 20 yeas.In this review, the update advance and viewpoint in some critical aspects of patients selection, reflux prevention, upper tract safety, continence, oncology safety, specific complications and quality of life were evaluated in the orthotopic bladder replacement. It is possible that the orthotopic bladder replacement become a new gold standard in urinary diversion after radical cystectomy.

Objective: To prepare piroxicam nanostructured lipid carrier and investigate its transdermal absorption behavior in vitro. Methods:Piroxicam nanostructured lipid carrier was prepared by a melt-emulsion ultrasonication and low temperature-solidifica-tion method. The physicochemical properties such as appearance, morphology, particle size distribution, PdI and zeta potential of pi-roxicam nanostructured lipid carrier were evaluated. The transdermal absorption in vitro was investigated using Franz diffusion cells. Results:Piroxicam nanostructured lipid carrier was clear and transparent with small spherical shape as seen under a transmission elec-tron microscope. The particle size distribution, PdI and zeta potential was (106. 4 ± 31. 6) nm, (0. 217 ± 0. 07) and ( -31. 6 ± 2. 5) mV, respectively. Piroxicam nanostructured lipid carrier had higher cumulative transdermal amount in 12 h than piroxicam solution. Conclusion:The nanostructured lipid carrier can remarkably improve piroxicam permeation into skin, which provides reference for the new dosage form for the topical use of piroxicam.

Objective To isolate protoplasts from tube plant leaves of Rhodiola sachalinensis and regenerate plantlets after protoplast culture. Methods Preculture treatment and size of explants, enzyme concentration, mannitol concentration in enzyme mixture related with protoplasts isolation were studied to determine the superior optimized conditions. Results Explants could be used to isolate protoplast without dark preculture, and leaf length should be longer than 1.5 cm.The best incubating enzyme solution contains 1.0% cellulase Onzuka R-10,0.5% Macerozyme R-10,10 mmol/L CaCl2?2H2O,0.1% MES,0.7 mmol/L KH2PO4,and 0.5 mol/L mannitol. The enzyme and explants mixture were shaken for 4 h at 25 ℃.The protoplasts yield and viability were 39.43?106/g fresh weight and 78.6%,respectively.Purified protoplasts were cultured in medium 1/2 MS+1 mg/L 2,4-D+0.5 mg/L ZT+0.5 mol/L mannitol +500 mg/L hydrolysis of casein initially with shallow liquid layers, and calli formed within 40 d.After calli were transfered to MS+1 mg/L 6-BA+0.1 mg/L NAA,adventitious buds were induced from calli.Shoots longer than 2 cm rooted within 30 d when they were transfered to 1/2 MS medium. Conclusion The study provides the scientific base for protoplast fusion in polyploidy breeding of R.sachalinensis.

Objective By measuring the levels of serum MCP-1,sICAM-1 and expression of monocyte CD11b and CD62p in order to investigate the effects of these inflammation mediators on acute coronary syndrome and the relationship between inflammatory mediators and degree of coronary artery stenosis. Methods By means of enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA) technique and flow cytometry technique, the changes of concentration of MCP-1,sICAM-1 and expression of CD11b and CD62p were measured in patients with acute coronary syndrome(ACS,n=33) group, stable angina(SA,n=24) group and control group(n=20)in the study. Results (1) The concentration of MCP-1 and sICAM-1 and expression of CD11b and CD62p had significant difference in statistics among three groups.Four inflammatory mediators were the highest in ACS group and the lowest in control group.(2)There were no significant differences in the levels of MCP-1,sICAM-1,CD11b,CD62p between AMI group and UA group.(3)There were no significant differences in the degree of coronary artery stenosis amomg SA,UA and AMI groups. Conclusions The results of the present study suggest that inflammation might play a role in the pathogenesis of coronary artery disease.

Objective To explore whether depressive disorder is one of risk factors for coronary artery disease (CAD) in enrolled patients and observe the level of inflammation markers in coronary artery disease patients with depression. Methods In all patients, we recoded clinical information and data from Hamilton Depression Rating Scale for Depression( HRSD)and measured concentration of monocyte chemoattractant protein-1 (MCP-1), tumour necrosis factor α (TNFα) and hypersensitive C-reaction protein (hsCRP). Results Among 87 patients with coronary artery disease, depressive disorder was diagnosed in 26 patients, the prevalence of depressive disorder was 29. 9%. Among 101 patients without coronary artery disease, 12 patients were suffering from depressive disorder, the prevalence of depressive disorder was 11.90%. The prevalence of depressive disorder in coronary artery disease group was statistically higher than that in non-coronary heart disease group (29.8% vs.11.9%, P<0. 01). The incidence of coronary artery disease was associated with age, hypertension, diabetes mellitus, hypercholesterolemia and depression. Life events and stage of heart function occurred differently between CAD patients with and without depression (P<0. 05). There were no differences in the degree of coronary artery stenosis and the type of treatment (P>0. 05) between the two groups. There were higher concentration of MCP-1 in coronary artery disease patients with depression, but no remarkable difference in hsCRP and TNFa.Conclusions There is high prevalence of depressive disorder, which is one of risk factor for coronary artery disease. The depressive disorder may be associated with inflammation biomarker in patients with coronary artery disease.
