Objective To understand the status of indoor air formaldehyde pollution in a certain city in China.Methods 50 newly decorated houses in a certain city were chosen and the formaldehyde concentration in indoor air in different types of room were determined.Results The formaldehyde concentrations in indoor air in 56.6% of the investigated 50 houses exceeded the State Standard.And the highest concentration was 1.05 mg/m3 which was 10.5 times of the limit in the State Standard.Child's bedrooms were most seriously polluted,73% of which exceeded the State Standard.Conclusion The status of indoor air formaldehyde pollution in the newly decorated houses in a certain city in China is serious,this problem needs to be paid more attention to.

Objective To study the clinical advantages of modified incision for PDA interruption under video-assisted thoracoscopy. Methods Sixty patients suffering PDA were operated on by the modified incision technique through the left subaxillary 3rd interspace 2.0cm-2.5cm mini-incision as manipulation incision and the front axillary line of the same interspace 0.4cm-1.0cm thoracoscope incision the operative difficulty required surgical time surgical field exposure,complications,postoperative pain and,cosmetic and surgical results were compared with those of the conventional PDA operation. Results The operation on the 60 cases were all successful.Actual intra-thoracic operation duration was (20.39?9.63)min.Due to the minor surgical trauma,the patients were able to ambulate two days after the surgery.Only eleven patients needed analgesia after the operation.Heart murmur completely disappeared postoperatively.No complications occurred.Postoperative echocardiogram showed no residual or recurrent shunt ,even in three years follow-up. Conclusions The modified incision for PDA interruption with the video-assisted thoracoscopy causes minim surgical trauma and is a safe and simplified surgical technique.

Objective To investigate the effect of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (bone marrow stem cells,BMSCs) through different approaches in the treatment of transplanted cirrhotic model in rabbit effect difference.Methods Establishment of rabbit model of carbon tetrachloride cirrhosis with liquid olive oil mixture of subcutaneous inj ection and ethanol fed,the liver cirrho-sis models were randomly divided into cirrhosis model group (n=10),hepatic artery transplantation group (n=10),ear vein trans-plantation group (n=10).Healthy New Zealand rabbits bone marrow,using the method of whole bone marrow adherent cultured bone marrow BMSCs,and then were transplanted and serum albumin,alanine aminotransferase in 3 ways;by HE staining,the de-gree of hepatic cirrhosis and detection of serum albumin by Western blot expression in liver.Results Through the vein group and ar-tery transplantation group BMSCs to cirrhotic model in rabbit,4 weeks after the discovery of liver transplantation group rabbits were significantly improved,serum albumin is liver cirrhosis without transplantation group increased significantly(P<0.05),transami-nase is liver cirrhosis without transplantation group decreased significantly (P<0.05).The therapeutic effect of 2 ways of BMSCs transplantation on rabbit liver cirrhosis had a significant difference (P<0.05).Conclusion Transplantation of BMSCs through the ear vein and the hepatic artery of rabbit after 4 weeks of treatment of liver cirrhosis,liver function can be improved.But the hepatic artery transplantation therapy is obviously better than that of intravenous transplantation of treatment effect.

AT motif binding factor 1 (ATBF1) gene,is a new tumor suppressor gene,and one of its expression variants by alternative splicing,known as ATBF1-A,can bind to the enhancer AT-rich element of alpha fetoprotein (AFP) and down-regulate the transcription of AFP,which may suppress the development and induce the apoptpsis of some carcinoma cells.In this review,we attempted to analysis the pathway of ATBF1 behaves with other factors and its multiple biological functions;ATBF1 function as a suppressor gene,it was illustrated for the influence on the growth and invasion of breast,prostate or gastric cancer.We also discussed the application of the ATBF1 level function as a cancer predictor,and forecasted the significance to apply ATBF1 for the therapy of cancer.

Objective To evaluate the clinical value of eversion carotid endarterectomy in patients with carotid atherosclerosis stenosis. Method Summarized the clinical data of 20 patients who accepted eversiou carotid endarterectomy from March 2009 to August 2009, compared the outcomes with preoperative and postoperative image learnt materials and clinical symptoms. Results All cases finished successfully. All clinical symptoms were improved after operation. The stenosis were all improved completely on the image after operation. Conclusions Eversion carotid endarterectomy is safe, effective, and shortening operative time and hospitalization time. It has low restenosis rate, thicken endometrium and plaque can be stripped completely.

Objective To evaluate the clinical effect of chemonucleolysis with collagenase and oxygen-ozone in lumbar disc herniation.Methods 90 cases with lumbar disc herniation confirmed by clinic,CT or MRI were randomly divided into the control group (collagease was injected outside the lumbar disc) and treatment group (based on the treatment of control group,oxygen-ozone was injected into lumbar disc).Results 90 cases were followed-up after the operation for 3 months. The excellent rate was 37.8% in the control group, 68.9% in the treatment group. The excellent or good rate was 93.3% in the control group, 95.6% in the treatment group. Objective Preoperative autologous blood donation(PABD) can reduce the demand of allogeneic blood transfusion and its safety in obstetrical application has been proved.The article aimed to explore the effects of PABD on reducing allogeneic blood transfusion in pregnant women with placenta previa and the optimal PABD volume for implanted placenta.Methods Retrospective analysis were made on 156 cases with placenta previa hospitalized in our hospital from January 2015 to April 2016, including 78 cases with placenta implantation.According to the volume of PABD, the cases were classified into no PABD group, 300~400mL PABD group, and 600ml PABD group.Data of postpartum hemorrhage volume and allogeneic blood transfusion after delivery were collected to analyze the effectiveness of PABD in reducing the need for allogeneic blood transfusion during pregnancy.Results The hemorrhage volume during the delivery of all 156 patients with placenta previa was 230-5670mL (median 985ml), the rate of severe postpartum hemorrhage (PPH) was 49.4% (77/156), and the rate of allogeneic blood transfusion was 33.3% (52/156).In patients who had no PABD, the rate of allogeneic blood transfusion was 48.2% (40/83).However, this rate dropped down to 16.4% in PABD patients (12/73)(χ2=17.624,P<0.001).The rate of allogeneic blood transfusion in patients was different according to the situation of placenta planting, 43.3% in patients with no placenta plantingand 53.8% in patients with placenta planting.600ml autologous blood could meet all the needs for blood transfusion if there was no placenta implantation.300-400mL PABD could meet the needs of more than 80% patients.11.2%-13.3% of ABD patients might need allogeneic blood transfusion in addition to autologous blood.However, the amount of allogeneic RBC and FFP per capita reduced.Conclusion Patients with placenta previa is in high risk of PPH and PABD can improve their medical safety by reducing the rate and volume of the allogeneic blood transfusion.The strategy of 300-400mL PABD during pregnancy are recommended if there is no contraindication.

Objective To explore the therapeutic effects of pure collagenase injection and collagenase combined with herniation injection of ozone on the treatment of lumbar disc herniation(LDH).Methods According to the principle of randomized controlled double blind, 100 patients with LDH were divided into 2 groups:pure collagenase group and combined treatment group.Changes of NRS value and Macnab score were observed and recorded at multiple time points after operation.The difference of the effect of the two kinds of operation was analyzed.Results Among the 50 patients in the simple treatment group,3 patients were lost to follow-up.Among the 50 patients in the combined treatment group,2 patients were lost to follow-up,and open surgery in 2 patients because of poor efficacy after the injection of 3 months and 6 months respectively.By analyzing the change of NRS value and Macnab score of 2 groups patients,there was no significant difference in the short-term and long-term efficacy between the 2 groups(P>0.05);The symptoms of the 2 groups were improved after operation.The curative effect was positively correlated with the recovery time, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion The curative effect of pure collagenase injection and the combined with herniation injection of ozone are both significant, and there is no significant difference in the clinical efficacy between the 2 kinds of operations.

Objective To analyze the immunization coverage of 23-valent pneumococcal polysac-charide vaccine(PPV23)in a large population in Guangzhou and to evaluate its safety by analyzing the ad-verse events following immunization(AEFI)reported to the passive surveillance system. Methods Immu-nization data of PPV23 in Guangzhou from 2010 to 2015 were collected from Information Management System of Biological Products and the Information System of Immune Programming of Guangzhou. AEFI reported to the AEFI Information System during 2010 to 2015 was collected for safety evaluation. The collected data were analyzed by using descriptive methodology. Results A total of 621 059 doses of PPV23 were pre-scribed in Guangzhou from 2010 to 2015. Most of the recipients were children younger than 10 years old,ac-counting for 79. 44% . Only 9. 38% of the subjects received PPV23 were older than 60 years. A total of 243 AEFI cases were reported at a rate of 39. 13 cases per 100 000 doses,among which 199 cases(32. 04 / 105 ) showed minor vaccine reactions,25 cases(4. 03 / 105 )occurred adverse events,16 cases(2. 58 / 105 )de-veloped coupled diseases and 3 cases(0. 48 / 105 )were classified as psychogenic reactions. No rare adverse reactions were observed. Conclusion The majority of people immunized with PPV23s in Guangzhou were children,while the immunization coverage among the elderly was relatively low. PPV23 was safe for vaccina-tion as the reported AEFI cases were similar to that of other vaccines.
