1.Applications of induced pluripotent stem cell in cancer therapy
Journal of International Oncology 2013;(2):96-99
Induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) are derived from differentiated somatic cells through reprogramming in vitro.Similarly to embryonic stem cells (ESCs),iPSCs have the ability of unlimited selfrenewal and multiple differentiation potential. But they are without the constraints of immunology and ethics and acquire conveniently.Patient-specific iPSCs provide an invaluable resource for disease modeling, drug discovery, regenerative therapy, immune therapy and cellular delivery vehicle in cancer therapy.Nowadays, the application of iPSCs technology has made some progress in the treatment of tumors.

Journal of Practical Stomatology 2001;0(01):-
objective: To study the properties of keepers treated with different methods. Methods: Eighteen Z 3 magnetic attachments were divided into three groups at random. Cobalt chromium alloy was used for root cap. The keepers in the first group were cast to the caps, those in the second group were welded to the caps by Nd:YAG laser welding apparatus. Keepers in the third group were untreated. Universal testing machine was adopted to measure the breakaway retention of the attachments. The roughness of keeper surfaces was measured by roughness tester. Results: No statistical difference was observed as to the breakaway retention between magnetic attachments and laser welded coping keeper or between those and cast coping keepers. But retention of the keepers in the two groups was slightly lower than that of untreated keepers. Defects of pits were found on the surfaces of the cast coping keepers. The surface smoothness of the cast coping keepers was inferior to that of the laser welded coping keepers. Conclusion: Laser welded keepers and cast coping keepers can meet clinical demands for the use of magnetic attachments.

Journal of Interventional Radiology 1992;0(01):-
Objective To study the cognition and treatment of outflow tract stenosis in and after endovascular exclusion for abdominal aortic aneurysm. Methods From Mar 1997 to Oct 2002, in 136 patients undergoing abdominal aortic aneurysm endovascular exclusion, 8 patients had outflow tract stenosis during the operation, and 3 patients had outflow tract stenosis after operation. The stenosis of 5 patients occurred at the crotch of the graft stent. PTA was done in 7 patients with stents placed in stenotic segment in 2 patients. 2 patients were treated with crossover operation. Results Following up 1 month to 2 years, all patients have no lower limbs ischemia. Conclusions The diagnosis of outflow tract stenosis during and after abdominal endovascular exclusion for aortic aneurysm must be in time. The treatment should be according to the different causes of stenosis.

Objective To investigate the use of salvianolate injection for inpatients in our hospital; To primarily evaluate its rationality and security in clinic. Methods Medical records using the salvianolate injection from December 2013 to March 2014 were surveyed statistically and analyzed in respect of patient gender and age, department, disease diagnosis, usage and dosage, solvent types, treatment course, medicine combination, occurence of ADR, etc. Results Totally 600 cases of inpatients receiving salvianolate injection were collected, about 69.33% consistent with the indication, 67.00% with a correct single dosage, and 52.50% with a correct treatment course. In the clinical application of salvianolate injection, a high rate of unreasonable usage was found in indication, single dosage, treatment course and medicine combination.ConclusionBecause the problems still existed in the use of salvianolate injection, it should be used strictly according to the medicine instructions and General Principles for Clinical Application of Traditional Chinese Medicine Injection to ensure clinical medication safety.

Journal of Integrative Medicine 2011;9(8):866-70
Chronic venous disorder (CVD) of the lower extremities generally induces dermatologic complications in lower extremity skin, such as hyperpigmentation. If not treated effectively, the lesions may develop into severe outcomes, including dermal ulcer or necrosis.

Clinical Medicine of China 2008;24(11):1140-1141
Objective To study the clinical significance of the changes of brain natriuretic peptide(BNP) in children with incomplete Kawasaki disease (IKD). Methods Of 25 cases of acute IKD ,20 cases were at the re-covery stage after 2 weeks treatment. 30 cases of upper respiratory tract infection at the same period were taken as controls. The plasma level of BNP,peripheral blood WBC count and C-reaction protein (CRP) levels were detected. Results BNP, WBC and CRP levels in acute IKD children were higher than that of control group (P < 0.01) , which were higher in 20 cases of acute phase than in recovery phase (P < 0.01). Conclusion BNP contributes to the early diagnosis of IKD in children.

Depression is the most common mental disorder in epilepsy, which means that they maybe have some common pathogene-sis. This paper discussed the biological relation mechanism, such as neurotransmitter, neuropeptide and its receptor, glial cell, immune-medi-ators, nerve signal transduction pathway, synaptic plasticity and nerve regeneration.

Objective To investigate the diagnosis, preoperative examination and surgical treatment of carotid body tumor(CBT).Methods From December 2008 to December 2012 80 patients of carotid body tumor were treated in our center. The average age was(43:±:12)years,33 cases were male,47 cases were female. The lesions were unilateral in 68 cases and bilateral in 12.All tumors were surgically resected. In 26 of Shamblin Ⅰ,32 of Shamblin Ⅱ and 19 of Shamblin Ⅲ tumors were simply resected. One Shamblin Ⅱ and 2 Shamblin Ⅲ cases underwent tumor resection combined with external carotid embolization.3 Shamblin Ⅱ and 8 Shamblin Ⅲ cases were treated by tumor resection combined with internal carotid reconstruction,1 Shamblin Ⅲ was done with tumor resection combined internal carotid repair. Results All of 80 patients with 92 tumors were successfully resected. There was no death case during peroperative period, while one case developed hemiplegia and 14 cases suffered cranial nerve injuries.68 cases (85%) were followed-up from 1 year to 6 years.Thera were 14 patients with cranial nerve injuries,2 of them were lost to follow-up,11 with complete or partial recovery and 1 was still doing poorly. Conclusions Tumor size and its relation to the carotid artery form the basis upon which appropriate operation is adopted.

OBJECTIVE:Using in vitro studies,we evaluated the antibacterial activity of amoxicillin/tazobactam against 128 strains of pathogens isolated from patients and compared with amoxicillin/clavulanic acid and amoxicillin/sulbactam.METHODS:To detect the minimum inhibitory concentrations (MIC)of four ?-lactams against 128 clinically isolated strains with agar dilution method.RESULTS:The results indicated that the in vitro antibacterial activity of amoxicillin/tazobactam(2∶1) was the best. The MIC50 of amoxicillin/tazobactam(2∶1) is 1/4~1/8 times than those of amoxicillin/sulbutam and amoxicillin/clavulanic acid. The MIC90 of amoxicillin/tazobactam(2∶1) was 1/2~1/4 of those of amoxicillin/sulbutam and amoxicillin/clavulanic acid. The combination ratio 2∶1(amoxicillin/tazobactam)of the two compounds was more suitable than other combination ratios(4∶1 and 8∶1)for inactivating ?-lactamase.CONCLUSION:The in vitro antibacterial activities of amoxicillin/tazobactam(2∶1) against MRSA,MRSE,MSSA and E.coli are high.It showed that amoxicillin/tazobactam(2∶1)is stable to ?-lactamase and is an effective bactericidal agent.
