Objective To study the efficacy of hypo responsiveness of allogenic T cells induced by curcumin (Cur)-treated dendritic cells (DCs) and influence on survival time of renal allografts in rats.Methods DCs were generated from Wistar rat bone marrow and treated with Cur. The costimulatory molecules (CDl1c, CD80, CD86 and major histocompability complex Ⅱ ) were determined by using flow cytometry,and the production of IL-12 in DCs culture supernatant was examined by using ELISA.The probability of Cur treated DCs to stimulate the proliferation of Lewis rat T cells was detected by using mixed leukocyte reaction (MLR),and the antigen specific T cell hypo responsiveness was analyzed by using secondary MLR. Allograft renal transplantation animal models were established by using Wistar rats as donors,and Lewis rats as recipients.At 7th day before allograft renal transplantation,Cur-treated DCs from donors were injected into recipients through tail vein, meanwhile the non-treated control group and immature DCs control group (immature DCs from donors were injected into recipients through tail vein) were set up.The allograft survival time and allograft pathology after transplantation were assayed.Reaction of T cells from the recipients to mature DCs of donors was analyzed at 14th day.Results Cur restrained the expression of DCs phcnotypc and production of IL-12 (P＜0.05). Cur treated DCs displayed poor ability to stimulate T cells proliferation,and potential to induce antigen specific T cell hypo-responsiveness.The survival time of the renal allograft in Cur-treatcd CDs group [(31.5 ± 6.9) days] was significantly longer (P＜0.05) than in control group [(8.6± 2.1) days] and immature DCs control group [(22.4± 7.4) days],and the pathological lesions in the renal allografts in Cur treated CDs group were milder than in the control group and immature DCs control group.T cells from the recipients injected with Cur-treated DCs showed significant hypo-responsiveness to mature DCs from donors (P＜0.05),but higher proliferation ability to the stimulation of third party independent antigen.Conclusion Cur can suppress the maturation and function of DCs,and induce immune suppression of allogeneic T cells,while infusion of Cur-treated immature DCs can prolong the survival of renal allograft remarkably.

Methods:Based on the former portable detection device, the new system is combined with the GPRS wireless modem. Though data collecting, processing, analyzing, sending and receiving, we achieve the remote monitoring of blood flow parameter. The doctors analyze the health of pregnant women and Feedback diagnostic information in-time based on the monitoring information. Results: The system can monitor the blood flow parameter dynamically and provide more effective diagnostic information for the pregnancy-induced hypertension. Conclusion: The system can provide more effective technical support for forecasting, prevention and treatment pregnancy-induced hypertension.

objective: To study the properties of keepers treated with different methods. Methods: Eighteen Z 3 magnetic attachments were divided into three groups at random. Cobalt chromium alloy was used for root cap. The keepers in the first group were cast to the caps, those in the second group were welded to the caps by Nd:YAG laser welding apparatus. Keepers in the third group were untreated. Universal testing machine was adopted to measure the breakaway retention of the attachments. The roughness of keeper surfaces was measured by roughness tester. Results: No statistical difference was observed as to the breakaway retention between magnetic attachments and laser welded coping keeper or between those and cast coping keepers. But retention of the keepers in the two groups was slightly lower than that of untreated keepers. Defects of pits were found on the surfaces of the cast coping keepers. The surface smoothness of the cast coping keepers was inferior to that of the laser welded coping keepers. Conclusion: Laser welded keepers and cast coping keepers can meet clinical demands for the use of magnetic attachments.

Objective To investigate the value of laparoscopy in comprehensive early ovarian cancer staging by comparing the feasibility and safety of laparoscopy and laparotomy in surgical staging of early-stage epithelial ovarian cancer (EOC). Methods A total of 102 patients with EOC who underwent comprehensive laparoscopic (LPS group, n=71) or laparotomic (LPT group, n=31) staging at Southwest Hospital from November 2007 to November 2014 were retrospectively analyzed. The perioperative parameters, postoperative complication rate and the long-term curative effect were compared between the two groups. Results (1)LPS group had less intra-operative blood loss [(288±239) vs (631±463) ml], lower rate of blood transfusion(14%vs 58%), larger number of pelvic dissected lymph nodes (18.1±5.6 vs 15.5± 4.6), lower vasual analogue scalescore(VAS) pain score (2.1 ± 1.6 vs 3.0 ± 1.1), shorter gastrointestinal recovery time [(2.6 ± 0.8) vs (3.5 ± 0.9) days] and shorter hospital stay [(9.9 ± 2.9) vs (11.3 ± 5.0) days] when compared with LPT group (all P<0.01). No significant difference were found in operation time, number of para-aortic lymph nodes, rate of postoperative upstaging and adjuvant chemotherapy between the two groups (all P>0.05). (2) No significant difference was found in postoperative rate of complications [11%(8/71) vs 19%(6/31),χ2=1.192, P=0.275]. (3) No significant difference was found in recurrence rate [17%(11/66) vs 14%(4/29), χ2=0.125, P=0.724] and 5-year overall survival (86.7% vs 86.8%, P=0.874). Conclusion Compared with LPT group, there are no significance differences in recurrence rate and mortality between two groups, laparoscopic staging, which could be recommended as a choice of surgical treatment of early ovarian cancer, shows more favorable operative outcomes including minimally invasive, less intra-operative blood loss, less postoperative pain and quicker recovery.

Objective To investigate the diagnosis,preoperative examination and surgical treatment of carotid body tumor(CBT).Methods From December 2008 to December 2012 80 patients of carotid body tumor were treated in our center.The average age was(43:±:12)years,33 cases were male,47 cases were female.The lesions were unilateral in 68 cases and bilateral in 12.All tumors were surgically resected.In 26 of Shamblin Ⅰ,32 of Shamblin Ⅱ and 19 of Shamblin Ⅲ tumors were simply resected.One Shamblin Ⅱ and 2 Shamblin Ⅲ cases underwent tumor resection combined with external carotid embolization.3 Shamblin Ⅱ and 8 Shamblin Ⅲ cases were treated by tumor resection combined with internal carotid reconstruction,1 Shamblin Ⅲ was done with tumor resection combined internal carotid repair.Results All of 80 patients with 92 tumors were successfully resected.There was no death case during peroperative period,while one case developed hemiplegia and 14 cases suffered cranial nerve injuries.68 cases (85％) were followed-up from 1 year to 6 years.Thera were 14 patients with cranial nerve injuries,2 of them were lost to follow-up,11 with complete or partial recovery and 1 was still doing poorly.Conclusions Tumor size and its relation to the carotid artery form the basis upon which appropriate operation is adopted.

OBJECTIVE:Using in vitro studies,we evaluated the antibacterial activity of amoxicillin/tazobactam against 128 strains of pathogens isolated from patients and compared with amoxicillin/clavulanic acid and amoxicillin/sulbactam.METHODS:To detect the minimum inhibitory concentrations (MIC)of four ?-lactams against 128 clinically isolated strains with agar dilution method.RESULTS:The results indicated that the in vitro antibacterial activity of amoxicillin/tazobactam(2∶1) was the best.The MIC50 of amoxicillin/tazobactam(2∶1) is 1/4～1/8 times than those of amoxicillin/sulbutam and amoxicillin/clavulanic acid.The MIC90 of amoxicillin/tazobactam(2∶1) was 1/2～1/4 of those of amoxicillin/sulbutam and amoxicillin/clavulanic acid.The combination ratio 2∶1(amoxicillin/tazobactam)of the two compounds was more suitable than other combination ratios(4∶1 and 8∶1)for inactivating ?-lactamase.CONCLUSION:The in vitro antibacterial activities of amoxicillin/tazobactam(2∶1) against MRSA,MRSE,MSSA and E.coli are high.It showed that amoxicillin/tazobactam(2∶1)is stable to ?-lactamase and is an effective bactericidal agent.

OBJECTIVE:To study the mechanism and location of absorption of DZ18.METHODS:In this study,improved intestinal absorption experiments(in vivo,in vitro)were used to study the absorption of DZ18in rats.RESULTS:It was found that there was no significant difference in absorptive rate in rats between without and with bile duct ligation.The cumulative percentages of absorption were59.2%and58.8%.CONCLUSION:There are no significant differences among the absorptive rates at different parts of small intestine in rats,which shows that there is no specificity of intestinal segments in absorption.

Objective: To study the cytocompatibility of nanophase alumina ceramics with osteoblasts. Methods: Alumina ceramics were prepared via wet chemistry techniques. The grain size of alumina of interest in the present study was determined by scanning electron microscopy and atomic force microscopy with image analysis software. Primary osteoblast culture was established from rat calvaria. Protein content, synthesis of alkaline phosphatase(ALP) and deposition of calcium-containing mineral by osteoblasts cultured on nanophase alumina ceramics and conventional alumina ceramics for 7, 14, 21 and 28 d were respectively examined. Results: The average surface grain size of the nanophase and conventional alumina compact formulations was 60 nm and 1.80 ?m respectively.Synthesis of ALP and deposition of calcium-containing mineral were significantly greater by osteoblasts cultured on nanophase than those on conventional ceramics after 21- and 28- day culture. Conclusions: Nanophase alumina may stimulate ALP synthesis and calcium deposition of osteoblasts.

Objective To evaluate the changes of urodynamics in female patients with diabetic cystopathy.Methods Fifty six female patients with diabetic cystopathy were enrolled in the study , including 31 cases with diabetic course <15 years ( groupⅠ) and 25 cases with diabetic course ≥15 years ( group Ⅱ) .Urodynamic examination was performed in all patients and the urodynamic parameters were compared between two groups.Results The average residual urine volume , the volume of first bladder sensation and the max bladder capacity in groups ⅠandⅡwere (35 ±16)ml and (65 ±24) ml,(220 ± 76)ml and (330 ±88) ml, (380 ±92) ml and (580 ±122) ml, respectively; 3 out 31 and 16 out of 25 patients in groups Ⅰ and Ⅱ showed low compliance .The above indexes between two groups were statistically significant ( P<0.01).Conclusion Urodynamics can indicate the severity of functional damage of urinary bladder in patients with diabetic cystopathy .

Objective To explore the method and evaluate the effect of locking compression plate (LCP)fixation of intraarticular unstable distal radial fractures.Methods Thirty patients with intraarficular unstable distal radial fractures were treated with LCP.According to AO/ASIF classification,there were 6 cases of type B2 fractures,7 cases of type B3,7 cases of type C1,8 cases of type C2,2 cases of type C3.Results After 6 to 24 months(average 12 months)following up,there were 15 cases graded as excellent,10 eases as good,3 cases as fair,and 2 cases as poor,according to X ray and wrist function assessment.The overall satisfaction rate was 83.3％.Conclusion Volar LCP fixation is a safe and effective treatment for intraarticular unstable distal radial fractures.It could effectively prevent loss of reduction,avoid tendon irritation and other complications if selecting implant angle for locking screw according to the specific intraoperative circumstances.
