1.Effect of Blood Surgar and potassium of An Intravenous Anesthetic Etomidate
Journal of Kunming Medical University 1990;0(02):-
Blood sugar and potassium levels were mesured before and after intravenous injection of Etomidate to serve as an inducing agent in general anesthesea. The results showed that the blood potassinm in 31patients, the blood sugar in 29 patients were normal and had no statistical significance of difference.Hence the authors consider that Etomidate has neither influence on blood sugar nor on blood potassium.Etomidate is a safe, ideal intravenous anesthetic worthwhile to be recommended.
2.Antiproliferative Effect of Curcumine on Human Prostatic Hyperplasia Cell Line BPH1
China Pharmacy 1991;0(06):-
OBJECTIVE:To investigate the inhibitory effect of Curcumine on the proliferation and gene expression of human prostatic hyperplasia cell line BPH1. METHODS: MTT were used to examine the cell growth of Human prostatic hyperplasia cell line BPH1 after treated with different doses of Curcumine. The expressions of PCNA mRNA and Bcl-2 at transcription were detected by RT-PCR. RESULTS: Curcumine inhibited cell growth time or dose-dependently and down-regulated the expressions of PCNA and Bcl-2 in BPH1 cells dose-dependently within 24 h after being treated by Curcumin.CONCLUSI-ON: The antiproliferative effect of Curcumine on BPH1 might be associated to the downregulation of PCNA and Bcl-2 levels.

Journal of Regional Anatomy and Operative Surgery 2013;(6):600-603
Objective To evaluate the feasibility and safety of early appendectomy in appendicular abscess. Methods Fifty patients with appendicular abscess who received early appendectomy in our hospital from January 2009 to June 2012 were considered as the abscess group,50 cases patients received acute appendicitis surgery were regarded as the control group. The postoperative hospital stay, cost of hospi-talization,operative time, the amount of bleeding in operation and complications were retrospectively analyzed. Results The operative time of abscess group was (68±23) min,and the control group was (49±14) min (P<0. 05). There were significant differences in operating time between two groups. But there was no significant difference in intraoperatve blood soss, length of stay, the average hospitalization charge and surgical complications (P>0. 05). All patients were cured. Conclusion Early treatment of appendiceal abscess is safe and alternate to conventional conservative treatment followed by interval appendectomy. It is not only to avoid the secondary hospitalization and treatment fail-ure,but also save the cost of hospitalization and minimize the medical expenses.

Objective To investigate the influence on the ovarian reserved function of Gn-RH injection in the bilateral laparoscopic cys-tectomy. Methods The clinical data of 100 patients with endometriosis undergoing bilateral laparoscopic cystectomy were included in this study. 50 patients treated by routine bilateral laparoscopic cystectomy were set as control group. 50 patients treated by Gn-RH injection addi-tionally during the surgery were set as study group. The operative situation, serum FSH level,FSH/LH,E2 level, ovarian reserved function, pregnancy situation and recurrent rate were compared between two groups. Results The operative duration and electrocautery times in study group was significantly less than those in control group(P<0. 01). The residual ovarian tissue capsule wall thickness in study group was sig-nificantly more than that in control group(P<0. 01). At different time points, the serum FSH level,FSH/LH and E2 level in study group were significantly less than those in control group(P<0. 01,P<0. 05). The incidence of ovarian reserved function damage in study group was significantly less than those in control group(P<0. 05). The pregnancy rate was significantly higher and the time between surgery and pregnancy was significantly shorter in study group than those in control group(P<0. 05,P<0. 01). The recurrent rate in study group was sig-nificantly less than those in control group(P<0. 01). Conclusion There is a influence on ovarian reserved function of bilateral laparoscopic cystectomy. By inject Gn-RH during surgery, the ovarian reserved function could be protected, which increase the pregnancy rate and reduce recurrence.

Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 2003;0(07):-
Aim To explore the effects and its mechanisms of ginsenoside-Rg1 on level of t-PA and PAI-1.Methods Type 1 plasminogen activator inhibitor(PAI-1) and tissue type plasminogen activator(t-PA) activity in plasma were assayed using chromogenic substrate. Results The results showed that ginsenoside-Rg1 in vitro or in vivo significantly inhibited PAI-1activity,while increased t-PA activity. These effects were concentration-dependent.Intravenous Panax notoginsenoside Rg1 at 30,60,120 and 240 mg?kg~(-1) markedly suppressed PAI-1 level in plasma as well as platelet-released substances stimulated by thrombin, while increased plasma t-PA activity. And release level of PAI-1 owing to blood platelet was greatly decreased by ginsenoside-Rg1.Conclusion Ginsenoside-Rg1 showed potent antithrombosis due to the inhibition of PAI-1 and increase of t-PA.It might also be a advantagous mechanism to its antithrombsis.

Objective To produce a comprehensive transcript dataset of Oncomelania hupensis before and after Schistosoma japonicum infection,so as to provide experimental data for perfecting genetic structural information and excavating related mo-lecular markers of O. hupensis infected by S. japonicum. Methods O. hupensis snails were divided into the following 3 groups:one week after S. japonicum miracidium infection,4 weeks after S. japonicum miracidium infection, and normal condition. Mil-lion high-quality reads were obtained from the normalized cDNA of the pooled samples, which were assembled into transcripts. Results A total of 63686 unigenes were identified and were classified into 4 main categories, including general functional pre-diction(15.36%),signal transduction mechanism(11.75%),posttranslational modification(8.89%),and functional unknown (12.20%). Conclusions The transcriptome information of O. hupensis snail after the invasion of S. japonicum shows that sever-al genes are significantly up-regulated or down regulated expression, and that the availability of transcriptome information might provide a strong foundation for further understanding the schistosome-snail interaction at the molecular level.

Posterior urethral valves(PUV) is the most common cause of lower tract obstruction in boys. With the understanding of the prognostic factors of PUV in depth,PUVs can have a profound effect on the function of bladder and upper urinary tract though valves are completely resected. The treatments of PUV include prenatal intervention, the antenatal vesicoamniotic shunt and fetal cystoscopy can be considered in selected patients with oligohydramnios. But the role of antenatal intervention is unclear. The gold standard for postnatal treatment of PUV is valve ablation.Vesicostomy is reserved primarily for the children with PUV whose urethra cannot accommodate an endoscope, as well as have severe urinary tract infections.Circumcision should be encouraged as a prophylactic measure for children with PUV who should have high rate of urinary tract infection.Vesicoureteral reflux is very common in PUV patients, and life-long monitoring of these patients is mandatory, as bladder dysfunction and valve bladder may be found during follow-up.These factors contribute toward the devolution of a bladder into dysfunction status are high voiding pressures and increased residual urine.Medication and clean intermittent catheterization are two main interventions, for the children who difficult to treat, an appendicovesicostomy utilizing the Mitrofanoff principle presents an useful option.Renal transplantation is an alternative for patients with PUV who progress to end-stage renal disease.Bladder dysfunction plays an important role in the development of PUV and urodynamic examination can be used to assess the function of the bladder to achieve timely and effective intervention.

Objective:To investigate the effect of timing of surgical treatment on renal function of children with solitary kidney and ureteropelvic junction obstruction (UPJO).Methods:The clinical data of patients with solitary kidney and UPJO admitted to Beijing Children′s Hospital, Capital Medical University and Shunyi Women′s and Children′s Hospital of Beijing Children′s Hospital from January 2006 to January 2018 were retrospectively analyzed.A total of 23 cases were enrolled, including 16 males and 7 females. The age of first visit ranged from 1 day to 15 years and 8 months (average: 2 years and 2 months). All the patients were conservatively treated for an average of 2 years and 9 months.SPSS 20.0 software was used for data analysis. Results:All patients received Anderson-Hynes pyeloplasty(A-H operation), and the age at operation ranged from 10 months to 16 years and 4 months, with an average of 4 years and 11 months. There were only 2 cases under 1 year old (10 months old and 11 months old, respectively). The double J stent was retained for 2 months after operation, and intravenous pyelography(IVP) was reexamined at 3 months after operation. The results showed that hydronephrosis either had no obvious change or was alleviated in different degrees. In 3 cases, IVP remained undetected for 40 minutes before operation. After operation, IVP was detected at 10-20 minutes. The follow-up period ranged from 1 year and 1 month to 10 years, with an average of 3 years and 9 months.Urinary ultrasound showed that the degree of pyeloplasty was less severe than that before operation. Conclusions:Close follow-up visits and conservative treatment of solitary kidney with UPJO are safe after 6 months. The first choice of operation is pyeloplasty.
