The cell suspensions prepared from surgically resected hepatoma specimens were used to immunize BALB/c mice and, with the hybridoma technique, a battery of high affinity monoclonal anti-hepatoma antibodies were obtained which were designated HAbl8, Fll, E5 and A10 separately. Immunohistochimical staining showed that the above 4 antibodies possessed good selective reactivity with hepatoma tissue. After radioiodination of Fll, E5, A10, HAbl8 IgG and It's F(ab')_(2) fragments, the labelled reagents were employed for radioimmunoimaging in hepatoma-bearing nude mice and the in vivo detection appeared promising, with tumor/non-tumor ratios being 6.88, 5.14, 5.67, 5.15 and 14.47 respectively. The in vivo localization ablities of the antibodies seemed better compared to other similar findings published elswhere (Dunk AA, 1987). Also, ~(131) I -HAbl8 I gG and its radiolabelled fragments were utilized for radioimmunotherapy in hepatoma-bearing nude mice, with complete response rate and partial response rate being 42%(5/12) and 50% (6/12)respectively. When the HAbl8 conjugate with radioiodine was introduced for the in vivo imaging in hepatoma patients, a positivity rate of 86.5% (45/52)was witnessed, with the smallest tumor foci detected being only 0.5cm in diameter. In the in vivo targeting therapy with the immunoconjugate, a partial response rate of 69.6% (16/23) was obtained. In summary, the antibodies reported here have lended a novel regime for the present comprehensive therapy protocol of hepatoma.

OBJECTIVE:
To study the results of TEOAE and AABR hearing screening and follow-up in NICU.
METHOD:
Total 574 cases in NICU were included in this study, all cases received both TEOAE and AABR hearing screening while admission and rescreening when one-month-old. The cases that were abnormal on either test in rescreening were asked to return for diagnostic tests at 3 moths old. The patients who didn't return as required in 3 months were surveyed by call and analyzed.
RESULT:
Among 574 cases, 472 cases passed both TEOAE and AABR hearing screening while admission. While 102 cases had abnormal test results in either screening test. Thirty-three cases returned for follow-up, 13 of which passed rescreening test one month after discharge, the other 20 cases had ABR diagnostic tests after 3 months. Among them, 8 cases had normal hearing, 12 cases had various degree of hearing loss. Sixty-nine cases lost follow-up. The reason of lost follow-up was as follows, parents changed phone number/contact information, parents didn't understand the screening results, parents believe that their children having no need for further testing; parents had retest in other hospitals, parents didn't pay attention to hearing loss because of other severe complicated comorbidities.
CONCLUSION
The passing rate (normal) of TEOAE and AABR hearing screening in NICU was 82.2%, non- passing rate wass 17.8%, and the prevalence of hearing loss was high in those followed cases. Hyperbilirubinemia was the main risk factors of hearing loss in our NICU patients. We reviewed the reason for high rate (67.6%) of losing follow-up.

BACKGROUND: Osteonecrosis of the femoral head (ONFH) following internal fixation of femoral neck fractures is difficult to be cured in clinic.OBJECTIVE: To analyze the literatures concerning ONFH in patients with femoral neck fractures treated with screw internal fixation in recent 15 years, and to summarize the research progress in views of epidemiology, etiology, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation.METHODS: Databases of CNKI, WanFang, CqVip, PubMed, Medline, Web of Science were searched with the keywords of femoral neck fracture, osteonecrosis of femoral head, osteonecrosis, internal fixation, internal fixation with screw in English and Chinese, respectively. Afterwards, the reviews and case reports were excluded. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: (1) A total of 54 eligible articles addressing the ONFH following internal fixation for femoral neck fractures were included, and the incidence of ONFH varied from 8.1% to 37.2%, which was found at an average of 17 months after injury. (2) ONFH was found to be related to age, preoperative fracture displacement, preoperative traction, reduction condition, time from injury to operation, elderly patients companied with other diseases, older patients undergoing removal of the screws, closed or open internal fixation, restored time postoperatively, high body mass index, hyperlipidemia, season, and depression. (3) Early prevention and remedial surgery were used to treat ONFH. (4) The patients without weight-bearing activities at 3-6 months postoperatively could be beneficial for functional recovery. (5) These results suggest that choosing appropriate surgical programs and rehabilitation plan can reduce the incidence of ONFH and achieve good treatment outcomes, such as reasonable preoperative planning, standardized operation skills, correct diagnosis and treatment, proper postoperative rehabilitation and good doctor-patient cooperation.

Fed with high-fat diet and assessed by hyperinsulinemia-euglycemia clamp technique, rat models with insulin resistance were successfully induced. Compared with normal chow group ( NC ), serum concentrations of free-fatty acids(FFAs) and baseline insulin in high-fat diet group(HF) was higher( P<0.05 ), the average glucose infusion rate from 60 to 120 min( GIR60-120 ) was lower( P<0.01 ), and the expression of p-IRE-lα in the liver was higher( P<0.05 ). Furthermore, the expression of p-IRE-1α in the liver was positvely correlated with the serum concentration of FFAs. All these data indicate that high-fat diet may induce endoplasmic reticulum stress in the liver by elevating serum concentration of FFAs, and may participate in the genesis of insulin resistance via p-IRE-1α.

Objective To investigate the effect of swimming exercise on insulin sensitivity and interleukin-1 beta(IL-1β)mRNA expression in muscle tissue of insulin-resistant (IR) rats induced by high-fat diet. Methods The IR rat model was induced by high-fat diet feeding for 10 weeks and assessed by hyperinsulinemic-euglycemic clamp technique (HEC). The rats were divided into the fllowing three groups: normal group without exercise, IR groups with and without swimming exercise. After 4 weeks swimming excersie, insulin sensitivity and serum IL-1β levels were measured. Results Glucose infusion rate (GIR) of the IR rats was significantly elevated than that of non-exercise IR rats (P<0.01). Moreover, serum IL-1β levels were reduced markedly in IR rats (P<0.01). Conclusion High-fat diet feeding can partly reverse IR of rats to normal value. Swimming exercise improves insulin sensitivity and reduces the levels of IL-1β in IR rats induced by high-fat diet.

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effects of sevelamer carbonate combined with routine treatment on serum inflammatory factors, heme oxygenase-1 (HO-1) and intact parathyroid hormone (iPTH) levels of chronic renal failure (CRF) patients with hyperphosphatemia.METHODS: Totally 60 chronic renal failure patients with hyperphosphatemia in department of renal internal medicine, Tangshan Workers' Hospital during Jan. 2014 to Jan. 2015 were divided into control group and observation group according to random number table, with 30 cases in each group. Control group received routine treatment as reducing blood glucose, lowering blood lipid, lowering blood pressure, reducing phosphorus, protecting kidney. Observation group was additionally given sevelamer carbonate (dose was 0. 8 g, 3 times a day, during meal) on the basis of control group, for 4 weeks. The levels of IL-6, CRP, HO-1, iPTH, Ca and P were compared between 2 groups. The occurrence of ADR was compared between 2 groups. RESULTS: Two cases were withdrewn from the study in each group, finally 28 cases were included in the study in each group. Before treatment, there was no statistical significance in each index between 2 groups (P>0. 05). Compared with before treatment, the serum levels of IL-6, CRP, iPTH and P in 2 groups were decreased significantly after treatment (P<0. 05), while serum level of Ca was increased significantly (P<0. 05); the improvement of above indexes in observation group were more dovious than control group (P<0. 05). There was no statistical significance in the incidence of ADR between 2 groups (P>0. 05). CONCLUSIONS: Sevelamer carbonate combined with routine treatment can effectively reduce the serum levels of IL-6, CRP, HO-1 and iPTH and regulate Ca and P metabolism of CRF patients with hyperphosphatemia with good safety.
