1.Clinical Characteristics and Rehabilitation Training of Lateral Consonant Articulation Disorders
Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2015;(11):1311-1314
Objective To explore the clinical characteristics and rehabilitation training of abnormal lateral consonant, namely/l/, of pa-tients with functional articulation disorders (FAD). Methods 107 patients with FAD were observed of the clinical characteristics of/l/. 30 pa-tients with/l/articulation disorder accepted speech training. The correlation and simple linear regression analysis were carried out on/l/ar-ticulation disorders and age. Results The articulation disorder of/l/ mainly showed replacement for/n/,/y/,/r/,/d/ or omission. When/l/combined with vowels contained/i/and/ü/, the main error was omission. When/l/combined with vowels contained/a/,/o/,/e/or/u/, the er-rors trended to be replacement rather than omission. After speech training, the patients made less mistakes about/l/(P<0.001). The frequen-cy of/l/articulation disorders was negatively correlated with age (r=-0.840). The result of simple linear regression analysis showed that the determination coefficient was 0.422. Conclusion The/l/articulation disorder mainly shows replacement or omission, varied with the vow-els. The targeted rehabilitation training may be helpful. Age plays an important role in the outcome of/l/articulation disorder.

Objective To analyze gene expression profile for exploring the function and regulatory network of differ-entially expressed genes in prostate cancer by bioinformatics. Methods The data of gene expression profile in prostate cancer were obtained from GEO database. R software and affy, limma, pheatmap, ggplot2 and other R packages were applied for data mining and bioinformatics analysis. Combined with DAVID and GeneMANIA , dif-ferentially expressed genes and their regulatory networks were annotated. Results These differentially expressed genes with statistical significance were 56 genes, 15 upregulated genes, 41 downregulated genes;these genes were enriched into different subgroups. cav1, slc16a2, cav2, slc16a5, magi2, ptrf, pdlim5, lmod1 and abcc6 were en-riched into the cell membrane component subgroup ofcell component category. cav1, cav2 and ptrf regulated the function of caveolae, they may play an important role in the occurrence and development of prostate cancer. Conclusion Differentially expressed genes between prostate cancer and adjacent tissues assemble a complex regu-latory network. Bioinformatics is a tool for data mining of the regulatory network , which provides ideas and data for the molecular mechanisms in prostate cancer.

Objective To have a general picture the history and existing problems of independent clinical labs in China, for the purpose of building a supervision mechanism for such novel clinical institutions-clinical labs. Methods By way of the nationwide network of clinical labs, ICLs in China were surveyed with written questionnaires and field check. Results ICLs have grown into a greater and diversified scale thanks to the development of China's economy and laboratory technology. However, such vulnerabilities as unbalanced staff ratio, full-range quality control bugs, cutthroat competition, asymmetrical information disclosure, and bio-safety have loomed large in the meantime. Conclsion It is time to formulate a stricter industry access system and appropriate regulatory modes; ICLs should take a good care of the "Four relations" in their development, and health regulators should play a tighter role in the "Four supervisions". All these aim at better sharing medical resources, and building a win-win environment for the people, hospitals and ICLs.

Journal of Endocrine Surgery 2010;04(6):388-389,393
Objective To discuss the clinical characteristics of Hashimoto's thyroiditis accompanying with thyroid cancer. Methods Clinical data of 98 cases Hashimoto's thyroiditis accompanying with thyroid cancer were retrospectively reviewed. Results 2 cases underwent lateral thyroid lobectomy and isthmus resection. 58 cases underwent bilateral thyroid lobectomy. 35 cases underwent central lymph node dissection, with 15 cases of lymph node positive. 3 cases underwent modified radical dissection of cervical lymph nodes and all of them were proved to be lymph node positive. Metastasis rate is 25.0% and 52. 2% respectively for tumors whose diameter was less than 1 cm and greater than 1 cm. The difference has no statistic significance. Conclusions Hashimoto's thyroiditis usually accompany with thyroid papillary carcinoma and cervical lymph node metastasis can occur even if it's microcarcinoma. Lymph node metastasis rate increases with increasement of the tumor's diameter. Total thyroidectomy should be performed for Hashimoto's thyroiditis concomitant with thyroid cancer. And if necessary, lymph node dissection should be extended to the central region and lateral neck area.

A 7?year?old girl presented with a plaque on the left side of the face for 4 years. Skin examination revealed a well?marginated circular firm plaque measuring 6 cm × 5 cm in size on the left side of the face with purulent crusts on the surface, which was nontender to palpation. Histopathologic study showed ulceration and necrosis in some areas in the epidermis, diffuse dermal infiltration of lymphocytes, histiocytes and epithelioid cells with the presence of many neutrophilic granulocytes in some regions. Both periodic acid?Schiff(PAS)staining and acid?fast staining were negative. After 25 days of tissue culture, scotochromogenic Mycobacterium colonies grew, and colony smears showed positive acid?fast staining. The sequences of 16S rRNA and hsp65 genes of the fungal isolate showed 100%and 99%homology with those of Mycobacterium szulgai, respectively. After the treatment with rifampicin, isoniazid and ethambutol, the patient′s condition was improved.
