1.Applying Queuing Theory to Quantitative Analysis on Outpatient Billing Service in Hospital
Chinese Medical Equipment Journal 2003;0(10):-
Objective To analyze the efficiency of current outpatient billing service quantitatively. Methods The author applied mathematical model and arithmetic of the queuing theory to estimate the selective sample of gynecologic outpatient charge. The average arrival rate of patient and average charge were counted.By using the queuing theory and relevant assisted program,we got the corresponding evaluation index. Results It is reasonable for the charge of current gynecologic outpatient. Conclusion It is feasible to apply queuing theory to quantitative analysis on outpatient charge service in the hospital.

Objective To study MRI manifestation of lymphoma of bone marrow. Methods Ten patients(8 males and 2 females) with lymphoma of bone were performed MRI. Two cases were primary (1 HD and 1 NHL) and 8 were secondary NHL. Results (1)Location: All cases involved axial bones; (2)Number: 9 cases involved multiple bones, only 1 primary NHL involved solitary bone; (3)Signal Intensity: The marrow infiltration were showed low and high signal intensity on T 1WI and T 2WI respectively; (4)Shape: 9 cases were showed multiple focal features, another one showed diffuse changes; (5)Pathological Fracture: 3 cases associated with pathological fractures of vertebrae. Conclusion The sensitivity of MRI was excellent for detecting marrow infiltration of lymphoma, but the specificity was poor.

Objective To observe the clinical effect of resin adsorbing devices combined with hemodialysis in the treatment for renal osteopathy in chronic renal failure patients undergoing maintenance hemodialysis. Methods Fifty two patients undergoing maintenance hemodialysis for at least 2 years, admitted from January 2004 to October 2006,were divided into three groups:group A,resin adsorbing devices combined with hemodialysis group(HP+HD);group B,hemodiafiltration group(HDF+HD);group C,active vitamin D peroral group(Oral vitamin D+HD).The changes in serum parathyroid hormone(iPTH)and phosphorus, urea nitrogen(BUN),creatinine(SCr),hemoglobin(Hb)were compared among the three groups before and after the treatment. Results No significant difference was found in BUN,SCr,and Hb contents among the three groups before and after the treatment.Compared with the data before the treatment,iPTH and phosphorus were decreased significantly after 12 weeks of treatment in group A(P

Objective To investigate the inhibitory effect of SFAS on the growth of human hepatic carcinoma cell line SMMC-7721 in vitro and discuss its mechanism. Methods The inhibitory fraction of SMMC-7721 cells was measured by MTT assay, and both of the Annexin V and TUNEL assays were used to determine the apoptotic proportion. Results The value of the control group was (0.385?0.03), and that of the SFAS groups (250 ?g/ml, 500 ?g/ml, 1 mg/ml and 2 mg/ml) were (0.31?0.019), (0.199?0.022), (0.150?0.033) and (0.048?0.026) respectively, with significant difference statistically ( P

Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2007;0(32):-
OBJECTIVE:To investigate osteogenic and chondrogenic differentiation of adipose-derived stem cells following a short time induction with bone morphogenetic protein 2(BMP-2) or BMP-7.METHODS:The subcutaneous adipose tissue was obtained from adult New Zealand rabbits under aseptic condition, and cultured in vitro with collagenase digestion. All cells were divided into 3 groups:in the BMP-2 group, cells were cultured with medium containing 0.1 g/L vitamin C,10 mmol/L?-sodium glycerophosphate and 10?g/L BMP-2 for 10 minutes, followed by 4-14 days inoculation with density of 18?104 cells per pore.In the BMP-7 group, cells were cultured with BMP-7 with the same methods as BMP-2 group. The cells were cultured with simple culture medium in the control group.RESULTS:Compared to the control group, the number of adipose-derived stem cells, protein level and ALalkaline phosphatase(ALP) activity of BMP-2 and BMP-7 groups was up-regulated 1.78-1.79,1.15-1.95,and 32-40 times, respectively. At days 4 after a 15 minutes induction, the runx-2 gene expression, osteopontin gene, and biglycan gene were increased 1.9,2.2 and 1.3-1.7 folds than that of the control group.Meantime, only the biglycan gene expression was increased 1.3-1.7 folds in the BMP-7 group, the runx-2 gene expression, osteopontin gene was not changed. At day 14 after a 15 minutes induction, there was no alter of runx-2,osteopontin,biglycan,as well as aggrecan gene expression in the BMP-2 group;while down-regulated runx-2,osteopontin,biglycan 1.8,5.0 and 1.7 folds, with increased aggrecan gene in the BMP-7 group.CONCLUSION:Following a short time induction,BMP-2 can stimulate runx-2 and osteogenic expression at 4 days after re-culture,whereas BMP-7 down-regulate genes expression at days 14,yet down-regulate aggrecan mRNA expression.

Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 2017;42(8):743-748
Aging is a biological process and state characterized by morphological change, hypofunction and metabolic disorder, often accompanied by severe degenerative diseases, including amyotrophy, atherosclerosis, neurodegeneration, and so on. Age-related diseases not only decrease the life quality of the elderly, but also impose great burden on family and society. As population aging, we are increasingly coming to realize that the longevity we want should be healthy aging but not simple increase of lifespan. By researching on the yeast, C. elegans, drosophila, mice and humans, we get to know the mechanisms of aging and methods for anti-aging, such as dietary restriction and use of anti-aging drugs like rapamycin. In this review, we summarized mainly the studies on mechanisms of aging and elaborate associated anti-aging strategies and underlying mechanisms.

Journal of Interventional Radiology 1994;0(03):-
Objective To establish a stable transplanted model of Vx 2 carcinoma in rabbit from three different transplanted methods, and analyze the DSA (digital substraction angiography) features of the implanted tumors. Methods 60 white rabbits of New Zealand were divided into 3 groups at random, 20 for each group. In the first group, Vx 2 carcinoma cells (about 5?10 7 )were infused via hepatic artery into the rabbit liver. For the second group, Vx 2 carcinoma cells (about 5?10 7 ) were inplanted into the left lobe of the liver via laparotomic route and in the 3rd group with the same route as the 2nd group, a piece of tumor tissue (contained about 10 6 10 8 carcinoma cells) were implanted into the left lobe of the liver. And then a comparative observation was performed in 3 groups included:1. the successful rate of implanted tumors; 2. the volume change and the growth rate of implanted tumors; 3. the biological features of implanted tumors in histopathology and electronic microscope photographs and DSA features of implanted tumors. Results The successful rates of transplanted tumors in the three groups were 7/20, 10/20 and 19/20 respectively. The successful rate of the 3rd group was the highest of the 3( P

Chinese Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism 2011;27(7):614-617
Lots of studies have identified the relationship between hyperuricemia and cardiovascular diseases. Many factors affect the metabolism of uric acid, such as diet, drug, internal environment of organism, etc. However, the relationship between hyperuricemia and cardiovascular diseases is not quite clear. In this review, we present recently published data about the association between hyperuricemia and selected cardiovascular diseases.
