OBJECTIVE:To explore the effects and safety of Hedan tablets on the levels of blood lipid, inflammatory factors and oxidative stress in coronary heart disease(CHD)patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus(DM2). METHODS:A total of 118 pa-tients diagnosed as CHD with DM2 were collected from our hospital during Jul. 2013-Nov. 2015,and then divided into observation group(63 cases)and control group(55 cases)according to random number table. Control group received conventional treatment such as controlling blood glucose, regulating blood lipid, vasodilator, anticoagulant. Observation group additionally received He-dan tablets 1.46 g before meal, tid,on the basis of control group. Both groups received treatment for 6 months. The levels of blood lipid (TC,TG,LDL-C,HDL-C),serum inflammatory factors (TNF-α ,IL-10,IL-6,hs-CRP) and oxidative stress indexes (MDA,SOD,NO)before and after treatment as well as the occurrence of ADR were compared in 2 groups. RESULTS:Before treatment, there was no statistical significance in levels of blood lipid, serum inflammatory factors or oxidative stress indexes be-tween 2 groups(P>0.05). After treatment, the serum levels of TC,TG,LDL-C,TNF-α,IL-6,hs-CRP and MDA in 2 groups were decreased significantly, while those of IL-10,SOD and NO were increased significantly;the observation group was signifi-cantly better than the control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05). There was no statistical significance in the incidence of ADR between 2 groups(P>0.05). CONCLUSIONS:Hedan tablets can effectively improve the level of blood lipid, reduce the lev-el of inflammatory factors, relieve inflammatory injury, reduce the level of oxygen free radical, strengthen antioxidant capacity and lighten oxidative stress injury with good safety.

Objective To observe the effects of basic fibroblast growth factor (bFGF) on osteogenic differentiation abili?ty and cell proliferation of human gingival fibroblasts (HGFs), and to explore the role of bFGF on the process of osteogenic differencitiaion in vitro. Methods HGFs were cultured in vitro until the 3rd passage when they were divided into four groups:normal medium as group 1, normal medium with 10μg/L bFGF as group 2, osteogenic medium as group 3 and osteo?genic medium with 10μg/L bFGF as group 4. MTT assay was used to evaluate the proliferation of HGFs. Alkaline phospha?tase (ALP) staining and Alizarin red staining were applied to investigate osteogenic potential of HGFs under different culture conditions. Results bFGF at concentration of 10 μg/L could increase HGFs proliferation in both normal and osteogenic medium (P<0.01). HGFs could be induced towards osteogenic differentiation and form mineralized nodule in osteogenic me?dium. However, 10μg/L bFGF had no effects on ALP activity and mineralized nodule formation of HGFs during osteogenic differentiation. Conclusion bFGF could promote the proliferation of HGFs but show no effects on osteogenic differentiation of HGFs at concentration of 10μg/L.

Aim To study the mechanism of curcumin induced U251 cell apoptosis. Methods U251 cells were treated with 20~100?mol?L~ -1 curcumin for 24 h and the growth inhibition rates of U251 cells were measured with MTT method. MTT method was used to measure the caspase inhibitors effect on curcumin too. Cell apoptosis was inspected with flow cytometry (FCM) and observed using electron microscope. The protein levels of FAK in U251 cells were observed by SP immunocytochemistry. The activity of caspase-3 was measured by spectrofluorometry. Results Curcumin inhibited the proliferation of U251 cells, induced apoptosis of U251 cells. At the same time the protein levels of FAK in U251 cells decreased and the activity of caspase-3 increased significantly. The apoptosis of U251 cells was partially reversed by caspase inhibitors. Conclusion Curcumin induced apoptosis via inhibition of expression of FAK and activation of caspase-3.

Bromodomain and extra-terminal domain(BET)Bromodomain has become a new target for the treatment of cancers and other human disorders. Nowadays, several classes of its potent and selective small-molecule inhibitors have been identified, many of which are in clinical trials. Preclinical and clinical data have shown that BET Bromodomain inhibitors have good prospects. Howev-er,there are potential therapeutic deficiencies, such as drug resistance. At present, attempts are being made to develop BET Bromodo-main inhibitors and degraders based on polypharmacology, combining BET Bromodomain with other targets of different mechanisms. In this paper,small-molecule kinase/BET inhibitors,small-molecule histone deacetylases(HDAC)/BET inhibitors and BET protein degraders are reviewed, which may provide guidance for further research on BET protein.
