Objective To compare the effects of different composite resins as core material on the degree of microleakage in post-core repairation.Methods A total of 46 recently extracted single-rooted mandibular premolars were distributed into different groups according to different core material including ParaCore,AP-X and Ceramage.Then we used direct or indirect forming method to make post-core restorations.All of the specimens were submerged in dyes.Then,they were demineralized,dehydrated and processed to be transparent.The extent of the dye leakage was examined under a stereomicroscope.Results The microleakage value was significantly higher in Group of direct-mold-cement with ParaCore (4.94± 1.71)mm than in Group of indirect-mold-secondary-cement with ParaCore (0.91 ± 0.33) mm,Group of indirect-mold-secondary-cement with AP-X (0.87 ± 0.27) mm,and Group of indirect-mold-secondary-cement with Ceramage (1.02 ± 0.34)mm.Conclusion Different methods of building and cementing FRC post-core restorations,but not different composite resins as core material,have significant effects on the extent of microleakage in post-core repair.

Objective To detect the expression of HER2 and TOPOⅡ? in human breast cancer to explore the relationship between them and the potential value in the chemotherapy of breast cancer. Method 24 breast cancer tissues and paired normal tissues were investigated. RT-PCR and imumohistochemical staining were used to detect the expressions of HER2 and TOPOⅡ? at the transcription and protein level respectively. Results HER2 mRNA expressed positively in 29% (7/24) breast cancer tissues vs 4% (1/24) in paired normal tissues. The positive expression of TOPOⅡ? mRNA in breast cancer tissues and paired normal tissues were 92% (22/24) and 21%(5/24) respectively. The result of the immunohistochemical staining showed that the positive rates of HER2 and TOPOⅡ? in breast cancer tissues were 30%(6/20) and 94%(16/17) respectively, which was consistent with RT-PCR. This work mainly reviews the development of the industrial bioprocess in China during the past 30 or 40 years: including the early stage kinetics model study derived from classical chemical engineering, researching method based on control theory, multiple-parameter analysis techniques of on-line measuring instruments and techniques, and multi-scale analysis theory, and also solid state fermentation techniques and fermenters. To compare the microleakage of fiber post and resin-core system fabricated by different methods.The roots of 36 recently extracted single-rooted mandibular premolars were undergone endodontic treatment.Fiber posts and Paracore flowable resin composite were used for fabricating post-core restorations.Microleakage was examined by dye penetration method.The microleakage value was significantly higher in Direct-Mold-Cement-Method group(4.94 ± 1.71) mm compared to Direct-Mold-Secondary-Cement-Method group(0.91 ±0.33) mm and Indirect-Mold-Secondary-Cement-Method group (0.87 ± 0.27) mm (P ＜ 0.05).

[ Objective ] To observe the therapeutic effect of Bushen Huoxie Decoction (mainly composed of Radix Rehmanniae Preparata, Fructus Corni, Rhizoma Dioscoreae, Carapax et Plastrum Testudinis, Radix Polygoni Multiflori, Fructus Lycii, Radix Morindae Officinalis, Herba Cistanches, Rhizoma Acori Tatarinowii, Radix Polygalae, etc. ) for the treatment of vascular dementia (VD) . [Methods] Eighty cases of VD were randomized into two groups by using random number table: group A ( n = 40) was treated with modified Bushen Huoxie Decoction and group B (n = 40) with duxil and nimodipine. After a 3-month treatment, the therapeutic effect of the two groups was evaluated, and mini-mental state examination (MMSE), activities of daily life (ADL) and blood rheology before and after treatment were observed. Objective:To investigate the expression of HIF-1α, HIF-2αand MT in human papillary thyroid carcinoma ( PTC) and the association of their expression with clinicopathological indicators .Methods:Immunohistochemistry was used to analyze the ex-pression of HIF-1α, HIF-2αand MT in 70 PTC samples .The correlations of HIF-1α, HIF-2αand MT expression with one another , and with several clinicopathological indicators were statistically analyzed .Results:In 70 PTC samples, the positive expression rates of HIF-1α, HIF-2αand MT were 52.86%(37/70), 50.00%(35/70) and 44.29%(31/70), respectively.HIF-1α, HIF-2αand MT expression had significant correlations with cervical lymph node metastasis (P=0.034, P=0.022, and P=0.032, respectively). Meanwhile, HIF-1αexpression had a positive correlation with HIF-2α(rs =0.258, P=0.031) and MT (rs =0.266, P=0.026). HIF-2αand MT expression were positively correlated (rs=0.259, P=0.030).Concomitant expression of any two or all of the three molecules had stronger correlation with lymph node metastasis than did each alone ( P=0.004 for HIF-1α/HIF-2α, P=0.024 for HIF-1α/MT, P=0.029 for HIF-2α/MT, P=0.017 for HIF-1α/HIF-2α/MT).Conclusion:HIF-1α, HIF-2αand MT expression in PTC samples have a closely correlation , which are related to cervical lymph node metastasis .Therefore, the expression of HIF-1α, HIF-2αand MT might be used as biomarkers for cervical lymph node metastasis of PTC .

Objective To discuss the method of implant for alveolar bone deficiency.Methods 37 cases of bone deficiency were chosen to use maxillary sinus augmentation,localized management of sinus floor,autologous jaw chips transplantation,alveolar bone distraction.Results All of the implants osseointegration except 1 implant loosed because of improper prosthesis.Conclusion All of the methods above provide can good ways for wider indication of implantation.
