2.Experimental Identification of Mucoid Pseudomonas Aeruginosa Strains Causing Infections and Cases Review
Journal of Modern Laboratory Medicine 2015;(2):114-116
Objective To investigate the clinical distribution and antibacterial drug susceptibility of mucoid Pseudomonas aeruginosa (mPa).Methods By looking at the patients’general information, disease information and the information of anti-microbial usage, cases of 53 strains of non-repetitive mucoid Pseudomonas aeruginosa were collected from hospitalized pa-tients from Jan 2013 to Dec 2013,and drug susceptibility were analyzed. Results A total of 53 strains of mucoid Pseudo-monas aeruginosa were isolated from sputum specimen, mainly elderly patients with a mean age of 66.7±9.1 years old;50 patients had chronic history of respiratory infections, all patients were used during the hospital stay of two or more kinds of antibiotics, used jointly only 11 cases of macrolides. All strains to commonly used antimicrobial agents showed a higher sen-sitivity in vitro,in addition to ticarcillin/clavulanate (64.2%),cefepime (60.4%),other drug sensitivity was higher than 70%.Conclusion Mucoid Pseudomonas aeruginosa was susceptible to chronic respiratory infection history of the elderly, its antimicrobial susceptibility was high in vitro, the use of antimicrobial agents in clinical was combined therapy compared, but utilization rate of macrolides drugs was low.
3.X-ray Diagnosis of the Intraductal Papilloma of Breast
Journal of Practical Radiology 2001;0(08):-
Objective To analyse the X-ray characteristics of the intraductal papilloma and to improve the diagnostic accuracy. Methods The mammographic data of 80 cases of intraductal papilloma of breast by pathology were analysed. Results 24 cases showed circular filling defect, 12 cases showed stringy filling defect, ductal blocked in 30 cases, ductal dilation in 48 cases. Conclusion Galactography is a effective method for diagnosing intraductal papilloma of the breast.

ObjectiveTo investigate the effect of nursing intervention on sleep quality of patients after cardiac intervention. Methods140 patients undergoing cardiac interventional surgery in our hospital from January 2010 to January 2011 were chosen as the research object. They were divided into the observation group and the control group in accordance with the principle of randomization with 70 cases in each group. The control group was treated with conventional methods of nursing care of cardiology. The observation group was given with sleep- related nursing interventions on the basis of the routine care. The sleep quality score (PSQI)24 h and 1 week,2 weeks postoperation and treatment compliance 2 weeks postoperation were compared between the two groups. ResultsThe study showed that the PSQI score 24h postoperation showed no significant difference, but 1 week and 2 weeks after the operation, the score of the observation group was significantly lower than the control group. The full compliance rate in the observation group was significantly higher than the control group. The non-full compliance rate was significantly lower than the control group, the differences were statistically significantConclusionsNursing intervention can improve treatment compliance of patients, improve sleep quality of patients after cardiac intervention. It is conducive to the rehabilitation of patients and is worthy of clinical application.

Studies have shown that microRNA plays a role of oncogene or tumor suppressor gene in the carcinogenesis and progression of tumor. However, the role of microRNA-143 (miR-143) in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) needs further study.Aims: To investigate the expression and clinical significance of miR-143 in ESCC.Methods: Sixty-three ESCC tissues and corresponding para-cancerous tissues, 40 esophageal intraepithelial neoplasia (IEN) tissues and corresponding normal tissues from Jan.2013 to Dec.2013 at the First Affiliated Hospital with Nanjing Medical University were enrolled. The expression of miR-143 was examined by real-time quantitative PCR, and its correlations with clinicopathological features were analyzed. Results: Compared with controls, expression of miR-143 was down-regulated in ESCC and IEN (P<0.05).Expression of miR-143 was correlated with pathological type (P<0.001), but not with gender and age (P>0.05).Expression of miR-143 was correlated with pathological staging, lymph node metastasis and TNM staging (P<0.05), but not correlated with tumor infiltration depth in ESCC patients (P>0.05).Conclusions: Expression of miR-143 is down-regulated in ESCC and IEN tissues, which may be closely related to the development and progression of ESCC, and has the potential to be used as a new target for diagnosis of ESCC.

Objective To translate the Personal Diabetes Questionnaire(PDQ),and test the relia bility and validity of the Chinese version of PDQ.Methods Through forward translation, back translation, cultural adjustment, etc.,the Personal Diabetes Questionnaire (PDQ) was introduced to localize it.60 eligible patients with diabetes were selected in a tertiary hospital to make a preliminary investigation. The results were statistically analyzed in order to assess the reliability and validity of the Chinese version of PDQ.Results The Chinese version of PDQ had good reliability, whose total internal consistency coefficient was 0.831 and test-retest reliability was 0.801.The questionnaire has good validity.Total Content Validity Index was 0.938.I-CVI was between 0.800 and 1.000.The questionnaire's dimensions had good parallel validity with glycosylated hemoglobin (HbAlc) and body mass index (BMI).Conclusions The Chinese Version of the personal diabetes questionnaire has good reliability and validity, which can be widely used as the evaluation tool of diabetes self-management education.

Objective To investigate CT features and the staging of the ovarian cystadenocarinoma. Methods The CT findings of 73 ovarian cystadenocarcinomas proved by surgery and pathology in 52 cases were analyzed.CT staging in 41 cases with whole abdominal scan was made and the CT finding was compared with operative results. Results Of 73 ovarian cystadenocarcinomas,23(31.5%) tumors were typeⅠ(mainly cystic),32(43.8%)tumors were type Ⅱ(mixed) and 18(24.7%) tumors were type Ⅲ(mainly solid). The preoperative stage accuracy for stage Ⅲ patients was 90.9%.Conclusion CT manifestations of ovarian cystadenocarcinoma are varient, the definite diagnosis can be made by typical appearance.CT scan has a high accuracy in staging of preoperative.

Cerebral palsy (CP) is the most common activity limitition of children, their movement and posture impairments persist throughout whole life.In recent years, CP has been significantly increasing with the improved survival rate of newborns. This may lead to a great burden and costs to both the family and the society.A variety of risk factors have been proposed to be associated with CP.However, recent abroad researches indicate that genetic factors may predispose to CP of newborns and initial results of related researches infer that several susceptibility genes may contribute to CP's development, masqueraders have a great impact on CP's clinical symptoms. Now, the recent publications related to virulence genes and masqueraders of CP are reviewed.
