2.Determination of ferulic acid,rutin and salvianolic acid B in Xiaoshuan Tongluo Capsule by HPLC

AIM:To develop a method for determining the contents of ferulic acid,rutin and salvianolic acid B in Xiaoshuan Tongluo Capsule(Rhizoma Chuanxiong,Radix et Rhizoma Salviale miltiorrhizale,Radix Astragali,Radix et Rhizoma notoginseng,Flos Sophorale,etc.) METHODS:The column was Linksil C18(250mm?4.6 mm,5 ?m).The mobil phase was methanol-acetonitrile -0.1% acetic acid(25:5 :70).The detection wave-lenght was set at 320 nm.The flow rate was 1.0 mL/min.RESULTS:The calibration curves of ferulic acid,rutin and salvianolic acid B were in good linearity over the ranges of 0.004-0.08 ?g,0.432-8.64 ?g,0.088-1.76 ?g,respectively(r=0.999 9).And average recoveries(n=5) were 98.9 %,100.1 % and 98.2 %,respectively and RSD were 1.1 %,1.5 %,1.4 %.CONCLUSION:The method is simple,rapid,reliable and can be used for the quality control of Xiaoshuan Tongluo Capsule.

4.Identification of Ilicis Rotundae Cortex and Its Adulterant Based on HPLC Fingerprint

Objective To establish HPLC fingerprints for the identification of Ilicis Rotundae Cortex (Jiubiying), dried bark of Ilex rotunda Thunb., and its adulterant, dried bark of Ilex godajam (Colebr.) Wall.. Methods Some samples named Jiubiying were collected from some medicine markets and drugstores. The HPLC fingerprints were obtained to detect Jiubiying and Ilex godajam. The software Similarity Evaluation System of Chromatographic Fingerprints of Traditional Chinese Medicine (2004A edition) was used to evaluate fingerprints. Results The fingerprints of Jiubiying and Ilex godajam were established. Methodological study met the technical requirements of fingerprints. There were 31 and 28 common peaks in Jiubiying and Ilex godajam, respectively. Jiubiying and Ilex godajam could be classified into two clusters by principal component analysis and hierarchical clustering analysis. Conclusion Jiubiying and Ilex godajam can be identified by HPLC fingerprints. This method can provide an effective method for quality evaluation of Jiubiying.
5.Skin prick test of inhalative allergens for patients with allergic rhinitis in Yichang.

OBJECTIVE:
To investigate the allergens in patients with allergic rhinitis in Yichang, so that to find common allergens of Yichang and to provide statistic basis for a reasonable prevention and treatment to allergic rhinitis.
METHOD:
1,979 patients with allergic rhinitis in Yichang were detected for allergens by skin prick test and the distribution of positive rates to inhaled allergens was compared between different genders and ages.
RESULT:
1,545 (78.1%) of 1,979 suspected allergic rhinitis patients presented positive reaction. The positive rate in male was significantly higher than in female, and that in juvenile group was significantly higher than in adults. Among positive cases in inhalation group, the most common allergen was flour mite (80.4%), followed by house dust mite (64.9%), cockroach (13.3%) and artemisia pollen (8.2%).
CONCLUSION
The study shows that the flour mite and house dust mite are the most common inhaled allergens causing allergic rhinitis in Yichang. We should pay more attention to the prevention and treatment for the juvenile patients.

6.Analysis the epidemiological features of 3,258 patients with allergic rhinitis in Yichang City.

OBJECTIVE:
To investigate the epidemiological features in patients with allergic rhinitis (AR) in Yichang city, and put forward effective prevention and control measures.
METHOD:
Collecting the data of allergic rhinitis in city proper from 2010 to 2013, input the data into the database and used statistical analysis.
RESULT:
In recent years, the AR patients in this area increased year by year. The spring and the winter were the peak season of onset. The patients was constituted by young men. There was statistically significant difference between the age, the area,and the gender (P < 0.01). The history of allergy and the diseases related to the gender composition had statistical significance difference (P < 0.05). The allergens and the positive degree in gender, age structure had statistically significant difference (P < 0.01).
CONCLUSION
Need to conduct the healthy propaganda and education, optimizing the environment, change the bad habits, timely medical treatment, standard treatment.
