China Pharmacy 1991;0(03):-
OBJECTIVE:To build up a method for determining the concentration of zaleplon in human plasma by HPLC. METHODS:The Kromasil-C 8 column was used and mobile phase consisted of methanol-water(65∶35);the flow rate was1.0ml/min,fluorescence excitation wave-length was233nm;fluorescence emission wave-length was460nm.RESULTS:The calibration curve revealed linearity in the concentration range of0.42~73.92ng/ml(r=0.9999)with a regressive equation of Y=1.870?147.The average recovery was99.47%.The with-day and between-day RSDs were4.9%and4.73%respec?tively.CONCLUSION:The method is accurate, reliable and highly sensitive so it can be used in study of pharmacokinetics of zaleplon.

Prolyl-4-hydroxylase domain (PHDs) family is one of the most important regulatory factors in hypoxic stress. PHD2 plays a critical role in cells and tissues adaptation to the low oxygen environment. Its hydroxylation activity regulates the stability and transcriptional activity of the hypoxia-inducible factor 1 (HIF-1), which is the key factor in response to hypoxic stress. Subsequently, PHD2 acts as an important factor in oxygen homeostasis. Studies have shown that PHD2, through its regulation on HIF-1, plays an important role in the post-ischemic neovascularization. Furthermore, under hypoxic condition, PHD2 also regulates other pathways that positively regulate angiogenesis factors HIF-1 independently. Moreover, recently, several evidences have also shown that PHD2 also affects tumor growth and metastasis in a tumor microenvironment. Based on these facts, PHD2 have been considered as a potential therapeutic target both in treating ischemic diseases and tumors. Here, we review the molecular regulation mechanism of PHD2 and its physiological and pathological functions. We focus on the role of PHD2 in both therapeutic angiogenesis for ischemic disease and tumor angiogenesis, and the current progress in utilizing PHD2 as a therapeutic target.

Objective To explore the measures and methods to cope with the early stage epidemic struck of H7N9 avian influenza,as the head nurses of the department of infectious diseases. Methods The main work focus of the head nurses of the department of infectious diseases were analyzed during the early stage of H7N9 epidemic struck systematically by reference to the domestic literatures. Results At the early stage of H7N9 epidemic struck, the main work focus of the head nurses of the department of infectious diseases was to draw up every emergency plans, prepare necessary protective medical supplies, train medical staff, and be ready to the preview and triage. Conclusions The head nurses of the department of infectious diseases should pay close attention to the progress of H7N9 epidemic struck, and get ready for all related work in order to ensure smooth treatment during early stage of the epidemic struck.

Journal of Clinical Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery 2014;29(8):733-735
OBJECTIVE:
To investigate the clinical features and therapeutic effects of sudden deafness after radiotherapy combined with chemotherapy in nasopharyngeal carcinoma patients.
METHOD:
Clinical data of 42 nasopharyngeal carcinoma patients suffered from sudden deafness after radiotherapy combined with chemotherapy were analyzed retrospectively. Among the 42 patients, 2 showed moderate deafness, 4 presented excessive deafness, 30 suffered from severe deafness, and 6 exhibited profound deafness. The audiogram pattern of 33 patients met with the type of high tone frequencies hearing loss, and that of the rest 9 cases showed hearing loss at all frequencies. All patients received medical therapy combined with hyperbaric oxygen therapy.
RESULT:
Of all the cases with hearing loss, 2 were cured, 2 showed excellent recovery, 9 came out partial recovery, and 29 showed no response to the treatment. The total effective rate was 30.95%. For the accompanied symptoms, none of the 30 cases of tinnitus were relieved, 3 out of 10 cases of aural fullness were cured, and the 5 cases of dizziness or vertigo were all improved.
CONCLUSION
The sudden deafness after radiotherapy combined with chemotherapy in patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma is closely related to radiotherapy. The hearing loss is serious, and the therapeutic effects are not satisfactory.

Chinese Journal of Behavioral Medicine and Brain Science 2015;24(7):607-610
Objective To investigate the effect of drug dependence severity on the relationship between impulsivity and craving. Methods 36 abstiuent drug-dependent individuals were recruited in the study. The participants were divided into the heavy depeudence group (HDG) or the low dependence group (LDG) according to the scores of Addiction Severity Index (ASI).The Barratt Impulsiveness Scale (BIS-11) and classical Stroop task were used to measure the trait impulsivity and state impulsivity.Block designed cue-induced craving paradigm was presented to measure cue-elicited craving. Results For the HDG,a significant positive correlation was found between trait impulsivity (the mean value of BIS-11-CI scale was (39.03± 16.50)) or state impulsivity (the difference of reaction time between congruent and incongruent situation was (87.77±36.95)ms)and cue-elicited craving (0.83± 1.91)(r=0.487,0.500,P<0.05).However,for the LDG subjects, the impulsivity was not found significantly correlated with the cue-elicited craving(r=-0.261,0.081,P>0.05).Conclusion The addiction severity influences the relationship between impulsivity and craving, and impulsivity can only be used as a predictor of relapse in HDG.The findings suggest that the drug may influence the shared brain mechanism between impulsivity and craving.
