Chinese Journal of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation 2011;33(1):39-42
Objective To investigate the effect of psychological intervention combined with electroacupuncture and hyperbaric oxygen therapy on patients with depression after traumatic brain injury (TBI). Methods Forty-five patients with depression after TBI were randomly divided into a treatment group and a control group. The two groups were both treated with routine medication and anti-depression drugs ( Fluoxetine ) for 8 weeks as a routine course of treatment, but psychological intervention combined with electroacupuncture and hyperbaric oxygen therapy was added to the treatment group's regimen. Hamilton Depression Scale ( HAMD), Modified Edingberg Scandinavian Stroke Scale (MESSS) and Quality of Life-index (QL-INDEX) scores were evaluated at the end of 8 weeks. Results There was no significant difference in the average HAMD, MESSS or QL-INDEX scores of the two groups before therapy. After treatment, the average HAMD and MESSS scores of the treatment group were significantly lower than those of the control group, and the average QL-INDEX score was significantly higher. Conclusions Psychological intervention combined with electroacupuncture and hyperbaric oxygen therapy plays an important role in the treatment of patients with depression after TBI to improve their mental status, treatment effectiveness and quality of life.

3.Measurement of thromboxane B_2 and 6-keto-prostaglandin F_(1?) in plasm of rabbits with common carotid artery and internal carotid artery ligated
Chinese Journal of Pathophysiology 1986;0(04):-
Acute ligation of the common carotid artery on one side internal carotid artery on opposite side resulted in experimental cerebral ischemia in rabbit. Measurement of thromboxane B_2 (TXB_2) and 6-Keto-prostaglandin F_(1?)(6-Keto-PGF_(1?))in rabbit plasma were done by radioimmunoassay. Blood samples were collected from the peripheral vein and internal carotid vein. The results were as follows:1. The concentration of TXB_2 in rabbit cerebral ischemia (ligation after 30 min.) was significantly (P

Clinical Medicine of China 2010;26(6):596-598
Objective To investigate the risk factors, clinical characteristics, treatment and prognosis of aortic dissection. Methods Forty-four patients with aortic dissection were analyzed from 2005 to 2008 in our hospital retrospectively. Results Hypertension was a common cause of aortic dissection. Aortic dissection showed diverse clinical manifestations. Chest pain was a common initial symptom, whereas some patients' initial symptoms were atypical(e. g. complications). CT and MRI examination could diagnose aortic dissection at a high accurate rate compared with echocardiography. However, ultrasound examination was cheap and convenient, thus could be used as routine examination when someone has suspected diagnosis. As to the treatment of aortic dissection, there were medical conservative, surgical and endovascular stent treatment Conclusions Hypertension is a major risk factor of aorticdissection. Aortic dissection showed diverse clinical manifestations, thus misdiagnosis may occur frequently. Medical treatment should combine a variety of antihypertensive drugs. Surgery or interventional therapy according to the clinical type and condition can reduce the fatality and improve the prognosis of patients.

PurposeTo exploit the relationship between the history of abortion and the infection of viral hepatitis C in the pregnant women.MethodsRisk factors for hepatitis C virus(HCV) infection were analyzed by Chi-square and a multiple logistic regression analysis in 2 783 pregnant women from Shanghai Punan hospital in 1995- 1998.ResultsThe results showed that the following factors associated significandy with anti-HCV seropositive rate:number of abortion,anti-HCV positive of spouse. In the logistic regression analysis the prevalence rate of HCV in pregnant women who were laid-off their work was 7.37 %, which was higher than that of other occupational pregnant women. There was no relationship between the HCV infection and age, marital status, history of injection, operation, hospitalization and the drug abuse.ConclusionsAbortion is a risk factor of HCV infection in pregnant women. The positive rate of anti-HCV is increased with the number of abortion. Strengthening thesterilization and disinfection of instruments during the abortion operation is necessary.

Objective To discuss the effect of the concentration of dihydrotestostemne(DHT)in prostatic tissue treating by 5a-reductase inhibitors. Methods One hundred and twenty-one pros-tatic samples were selected:group A1(18 patients treating by epristeride for 1 month),group A2(22patients treating by epristeride for 3 months),group B1(23 patients treating by finasteride for 1 month),group B2(21 patients treating by finasteride for 3 months),group C(25 patients non-treating by 5α-reductase inhibitors),group D(12 samples of prostate from body). The concentration of DHT was measured by radio-immunity,Results The concentration of DHT in prostate declined after treating by epristeride 1 month and 3 months(66.21%and 70.60%,P<0.05).The decline of the concentration of DHT in prostate after treating by epristeride 1 month was larger than 3 months(P<0.05).The concentration of DHT in prostate declined after treating by finasteride 1 month and 3 months. There Was no signiificant difference of the concentration of DHT in prostate after treating by finasteride 1 month and 3 months. Conclusions The concentration of DHT in prostate can be declined after treating by epristeride and finasteride. The decline of the concentration of DHT is consistent aftertrealring by epristeride. The decline of the concentration of DHT is considerable between epristeride and finasteride.

Gut microbiota means a highly diverse and dense microbiota which inhabits in the gastrointestinal tract of humans. It plays a vital role in many important physiological processes including exerting nutritional and metabolic activities, regulating the immune system, and protecting against pathogens.Recent studies suggested that the gut microbiota was associated with the development of many lung diseases, such as pneumonia, asthma and tuberculosis. There is a gut-lung axis in human body. Now,the relationship between the gut microbiota and the gut-lung axis is reviewed.

Journal of Practical Radiology 2016;32(7):1048-1051
Objective To evaluate the value of quantized diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI)in diagnosis of focal liver lesions. Methods A retrospective analysis was performed in 120 patients with focal liver lesions and in 12 healthy controls who underwent DWI and routine non-enhanced MRI at 3.0T.In 120 patients, there were 1 79 focal liver lesions including 53 hepatocellular carcinomas (HCC),61 metastatic tumors,32 hemangiomas and 33 cysts. The DWI and apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC)maps and ADC val-ues of the lesions and the normal liver were analyzed and measured with a b value of 800 s/mm2 ,and the statistical differences be-tween two groups were compared. Results DWI showed 33 hepatic cysts with low signal, and 5 1 hepatocellular carcinomas,61 he-patic metastases and 32 hepatic hemangiomas with high signal, thus the signal difference between hepatic cyst and other lesions was significant (P <0.05).The ADC images of HCC and metastatic tumors were cold colour, and those of hepatic cysts and hemangio-mas were hot colour. The ADC value between HCC,liver metastatic tumors, hepatic hemangioma and cysts were significant different (P <0.05).However,there were no significant differences in ADC value between HCC and metastatic tumors (P >0.05).In addit-on,the ratios of the ADC values of lesion to background liver between hepatocellular carcinoma and metastases were significantly dif-ferent (P <0.05).Conclusion DWI and ADC maps, and ADC value can provide importantly additional information for the diagnosis and differential diagnosis of focal liver lesions.
