1.Clinical study of MRP and LRP mRNA expression in peple with human non-small cell lung cancer after cisplatin chemotherapy

Objective To investigate the mRNA expression of the multidrug resistance associated protein and lung resistance protein in human non-small cell lung cancer tissues and their relationship with cis-platinum. Methods 13 samples were collected from patients with non small cell lung cancer before and after chemotherapy, the mRNA expression of MRP and LRP were detected using RT-PCR method, correlation between two genes were studied by Logistic regression analysis. Results Compared with before cisplatin chemotherapy, MRP and LRP expression of patients were increased after chemotherapy(P<0.05).Logistic regression analysis showed that there is no correlation between the two genes(r=0.036,P<0.05). Conclusion Cisplatin chemotherapy can increase the mRNA expression of MRP and LRP, and there is no correlation between the two genes.

Seminar is an effcient teaching method in cultivation of independent thinking and research ability of residents of obstetric and gynecology.On the basis of introducing the concept of seminar,this paper discusses the application and significance of seminar in standardized training of residents.Seminar teaching can develop the capabilities of each resident to probe into and study some new things by themselves.The wide applications of this method also help to improve the abilities of the residents to understand the theoretical knowledge of gynecology and to elevate their comprehensive competence.
3.Clinical study on validation systemic inflammatory response syndrome score in predicting prognosis in acute craniocerebral trauma

Objective To explore the effect and significance of systemic inflammatory response syndrome(SIRS )score in predicting prognosis in acute craniocerebral trauma. Methods The clinical data of 620 patients were collected at admission from January 2003 to December 2007, GCS and SIRS score were calculated in 24 hours.The relation of the mortality rates and GCS score were analyzed in different SIRS score patients by controlling age. Results With SIRS score increasing,mortality rates increased as well,and pa-tients with SIRS (score≥2) mortality rates had significantly higher,and also in the same age and GCS score group.Mortality rotes were significant in staifistics (P<0.05). Conclusion SIRS score is significant inde-pendent predicting prognosis in acute craniocerebral trauma and in clinic.
4.Effect of rhodiola on lipidperoxides and ultrastructure of mitochondria in the brain of senile mice

BACKGROUND: Senility is the degenerative change of every tissue and organ in biological body,which is the result due to comprehensive actions of various pathological and physiological processes. Rhodiola is a kind of natural medical plant,acting on delaying organic senility,preventing and treating senile disorders,etc. But the definite mechanisms on those have been unknown yet.OBJECTIVE: To probe into the mechanism of rhodiola extract( nuodikang capsule) on anti-senility.DESIGN: Randomized,controlled experimental research based on the experimental animals.SETTING: Neurological internal department in a military hospital affiliated to a university of Chinese PLA.MATERIALS: The experiment was performed in Pathology Experiment Room of Fourth Military Medical University of Chinese PLA from March to August 2002. Sixty Kunming mice were randomized into normal control group,model group,3 dosage groups of 1,2,4 g/kg of nuodikang successively and Vitamin E(Vit. E) positive control group 0. 1 mg/kg,10 mice in each group.INTERVENTIONS: In the model,nuodikang groups and Vit. E positive control,physiological saline solution of D-galactose 30 g/Lwas applied in subcutaneous at the back of neck,150 mg/kg per day,continuously for 8weeks. Simultaneously,in nuodikang group and Vit. E positive control,the medicine was applied by gastric perfusion,once daily,continuously for 8weeks.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Effects of nuodikang capsule on activity of lactate dehydrogenase(LDH),the content of lipidperoxides(LPO),the activity of superoxide dismutase(SOD) in the brain,the content of malondialdehyde (MDA) and ultrastructure of mitochondrion in hippocampal neurons.RESULTS: In nuodikang capsule groups of 1,2,4 g/kg,the significant differences(P < 0.05) presented in LPO content in brain tissue[(30. 1±2.9),(27.8±3.1),(26.9±1.9) nmol/g] and MDA content [(110.2±13.5),(95.4±20.1),(90.2±16.5) nmol/g],1 compared with the model group[ (33.4 ± 2.2),(126.5 ± 17.2) nmol/g],indicating significant differences(P < 0.05),and LDH activity[(1.74±0. 14),(1.92 ±0. 23),(2.04 ±0.21) NU/g] and SOD activity[ (119. 1 ±2.2),(121.3 ± 0.9),(126.4 ± 2.0) NU/g] were remarkably increased,compared with the model group[ (1.68 ±0. 19),(115.9 ±2. 1) NU/g],indicating significant differences( P < 0.05) . It was indicated by electro-microscope that nuodikang capsule groups of 2,4 g/kg acted on obvious protection on degenerative change of mitochondrion in hippocampal neurons caused by galactose.CONCLUSION: Nuodikang capsule acts significantly on anti-senility,which is related to its anti-oxidative injury and protection on neurons.

Objective To investigate the effect of the activity of CR1, the expression of CD_ 58 , the level of soluble interleukin-2R (SIL-2R) and interleukin-6(IL-6) level in serum on obstructive sleep apnea syndrome (OSAS). Methods Select 20 OSAS cases in hospital and 15 healthy controls of the same age. Use flow cytometry and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA) to detect the activity of CR1, the expression of CD_ 58 and the level of SIL-2R, IL-6 in serum. Results (1)The erythrocytes cancer cell rosette(ECR1CaRR)of the OSAS group was lower than that of control group(P0.05). There were significant positive dependability between the level of SIL-2R,IL-6 in serum and SIT90(P0.05). Conclusions There are relations between the level of SIL-2R,IL-6 in serum and the condition of OSAS cases, which can be used to evaluate and define in clinical work,there is a accommodative role between erythrocyte immune function and some cytokines.

9.Bone cement infusion and complications during percutaneous vertebroplasty

Percutaneous vertebroplasty has many advantages such as minimal trauma, simple mode of operation, rapid and correct therapeutic effect, high safety, and wide indications. Therefore it has been generally paid close attention and accepted. Percutaneous vertebroplasty has conspicuous curative effect, especially in vertebral compression fracture. Polymethyl methacrylate is the most used filling materials at present; There is not significant difference between unipedicular and bipedicular vertebroplasty; Using vertebral body venography and appropriate dense bone cement can reduce leakage of bone cement; Bolster for self-replacement can rebound vertebral body height, and balloon kyphoplasty and sky bone expander kyphoplasty can be avoided; In order to reduce refracture of vertebral body, anti-osteoporosis drugs should be used in the treatment of percutaneous vertebroplasty.
10.Application of surface enhanced laser desorptionfionization time-of-flight mass spectrometry technology in the diagnosis of primary liver carcinomas

Objective To explore the tumor markers for the diagnosis of primary liver carcinomas (PLC) by detecting the serum protein spectrum differently expressed between PLC patients and healthy controls. Methods We detected the serum protein spectrum in 50 PLC patients and 50 healthy controls using surface enhanced laser desorption ionization time-of-flight mass spectrometry (SELDI-TOF-MS) technique and find the significant protein peaks. The serum Alpha-fetoprotein (AFP) levels in all 100 serum samples were also measured by ELISA. Results The protein peaks, which could discriminate healthy individuals from PLC patients, were detected. Four protein molecules (3354.71, 8825.80, 4345.08, 13 715.01) had a significant difference between PLC patients and the normal controls (P <10-5), indicating that these protein molecules might be a potential marker for PLC. The specificity and sensitivity of SELDI-TOF-MS were 94% and 90% respectively. Sixteen PLC patients were AFP positive and the sensitivity was 54%(27/50). Conclusion With a high specificity and sensitivity, the detection of serum protein spectrum can be performed easily and quickly by SELDI-TOF-MS technique, which provides a serological way in identifying PLC and most likely to benefit from AFP strategies.
