Objective To investigate the changes and its clinical significance of serum brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) level and plasma tissue plasminogen activator( t-PA ) level in patients with amnestic mild cognitive impairment (aMCI). Methods 99 aMCI patients (aMCI group) and 99 matched normal controls (NC group) were recruited for the present study. Multi-dimension neuropsychologic tests were used to extensively assess cognitive function of subjects. An enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay was applied to measure serum BDNF level and plasma t-PA level. The correlation analysis between serum BDNF level and plasma t-PA level tested by ELISA and cognitive function were also made. Objective To study the effect of image quality and radiation dose by using Z -axis automatic tube current modulation(ATCM),as well as the application of automatic tube current modulation technology.Methods A control group consisting of 25 patients underwent cervical MDCT with fixed-current technique(100-220mA).Of two study groups of 25 patients,one underwent cervical MDCT using z-axis ATCM with the noise index of NI10 and tube current intensity of 80-480 mA,and the other with the noise index of NI12.5 and tube current intensity of 80-369 mA.The noise and mean tube current-time products(mAs) were recorded.Two radiologists evaluated images for diagnostic acceptability.Results All CT examinations of study and control groups were diagnostically acceptable,though objective noise was different with z-axis ATCM than with fixed current.ATCM resulted in significant radiation dose reduction(NI10,94.8?17.9 mAs;NI12.5,74.8? 18.3 mAs),when compared with the fixed current(130.4?43.1 mAs).Conclusion Z-axis Automatic mA technique has no significant change in image quality when compared with the fixed mA technique,but the radiation dose is decreased by 27%(NI10) and 43%(NI12.5),for MDCT evaluation of neck.NI has to be selected on the basis of the tissue,lesion size and nature.

Objective To investigate the injury posterior vertebral pedicle nail fixed treatment of thoracolumbar fractures of the clinical efficacy and safety .Methods Forty-eight cases of thoracolumbar fractures were treated by the posterior vertebral pedicle screw fixation ,according to cases decompressive laminectomy ,underwent intertransverse fusion treatment .Postoperative follow-up of 1 year ,preoperative ,postoperative 3 months ,after 1 years of vertebral compression rate ,Cobb Angle were compared .Results Forty-eight patients with postoperative 3 months and 1 year after injury postoperative spinal vertebral body compression rate were significantly decreased compared with preoperative (P<0 .05);After 3 months and 1 year after the Cobb Angle were markedly sig-nificant reduction than preoperative(P<0 .05) .X-ray showed all fractures were obtained good reduction ,internal fixation with no looseness or breakage ,no protruding after spinal deformity ,neural function were all in 1 -3 level recovery .Conclusion Posterior vertebral pedicle injury by nail fixed treatment of thoracolumbar fractures with fixed reliable ,reset effect is good .

Objective To estimate the prevalence of erectile dysfunction (ED) among the patients undergoing manintenance hemodialysis (MHD), and evaluate the efficacy and the adverse effects of sildenafil for ED. Methods The international index of erectile function questionnaire (IIEF) was used to estimate 22 male MHD cases. ED patients were administered sildenafil with the initial dose of 25 mg/d, then maximum of 100 mg/d for 12 weeks. Results 72. 73% (16/22) of MHD patients complained of ED, and the total effective rate of sildenafil was 87.5% (14/16) with common adverse effects-headache and flushing. Conclusion Sildenafil in MHD patients has similar efficacy and safety as the others.

Objective To analyse the effects of anastomat to the resection surgery in 1800 esophageal and gastric cardiac carcinoma patients. Methods The Esophagus-gaster and Esophagus-intestine were stapled by anastomat in the cervical region in 182 cases、 intrathoracically in 1296 cases and intraperitoneal in 322cases. The occurrence of complications caused by anastomat, including anastomotic fistula,anastomotic stricture,anastomotic bleeding and mechanical failure,were observed. Results Anastomotic fistula occurred in 15 cases ( 15/1800,0.83% ,ten cases took Shanghai-made GF-I anastomat ,five cases took YH-W single disposable single anastomat ), among which 6 cases had the cervical anastomosis; Anastomotic stricture occurred in 41 cases ( 41 /1800,3.11%, fifteen cases took Shanghai-made GF-I anastomat, twenty-six took YH-W single disposable single anastomat) ,but all of them recovered after dilatation; Anastomotic bleeding occurred in 21 cases (21/18001.16%, thirteen cases took Shanghai-made GF-I anastomat, eight took YH-W single disposable single anastomat) ;Anastomat mechanical failure in operation occurred in 14 cases( 14/1800,0. 78% ,ten cases took Shanghai-made GF-I anastomat, four took YH-W single disposable single anastomat). Conclusion Anastomat is an effective method in reducing the postoperational complications of esophageal and gastric cardiac carcinoma resection. Disposable single anastomat has higher clinical value.

Objective With the increasing of the CT examination, the dose of x-ray has been brought to public attention. For the sake of making the MDCT technology better applied, available optimal technology has to be used to reduce the x-ray dose to the patients. Methods Many optimal technologies were involved in, such as ECG modulation, cardiac bowtie, 3D dose modulation, compact geometry design, electron collector and speed 4D CARE dose. Results The result of the research showed that the dose of scanning x-ray of CT could be decreased sharply by using optimal technologies. The Q2 values was the standard which could well evaluate the quality of the CT′s images and the dose of x-ray. Conclusion The quality of images and the dose of x-ray can′t be separated, which must be quoted together.

Objective To introduce the techniques and clinical application of coronary arterial calcification measurements by using the multi-slice CT (MSCT). Methods The recent literature on the coronary artery calcium scoring with MSCT were reviewed. The data acquisition, image reconstruction, quantification methods in assessment of calcium and usefulness of calcium scoring in coronary artery disease were investigated. Results MSCT with nearly isotropic volumetric imaging data, subsecond rotation and retrospective electrocardiographic gating could provide better input data for quantification of coronary arterial calcium volume. Conclusion MSCT allows more precise and repeated measurement of coronary arterial calcification with low interexamination variability.
