Modern Clinical Nursing 2014;(2):47-49
Objective To assess the informed consent about risks of pressure ulcers so as to effectively prevent pressure ulcers and reduce the disputes between the nurses and patients.Method An in-depth interview was conducted among 12 senior nurses in the operating room, the interview content recorded and analyzed to summarize some themes. Results In the link of informed consent on pressure ulcers,6 problems were found,e.g.,the standardization of methods for informed consent and the content, pressure ulcer risk assessment scale special for clinical specialties, lack of complementarity of assessment and prevention measures, importance of clear signature on the informed consent, time for informed consent signature, attitude of the families and the skills on answering related questions. Conclusions The implementation of the informed consent about the risk assessment of the pressure ulcer for surgical patients depends on the specification of the conversation, and the assessment scale special for the clinical specialties. Both improved preventive measures and preventive ability of the pressure ulcers are of great importance.

7.The inhibitory effects of dexamethasone on cisplatin induced apoptosis of human lung adenocarcinoma cell SPC-A1 and its molecular mechanism.
Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2014;31(3):652-656
The aim of this study is to investigate the apoptotic inhibition and its molecular mechanism of dexamethasone (DEX) acting on cisplatin (CDDP)-induced apoptosis of human lung adenocarcinoma cell SPC-A1; SPC-A1 cells were pre-cultured in vitro for 24 hours with DEX in different concentrations and then CDDP was added in different concentrations for culturing for further 48 hours. The survival rates of the cells were determined by MTT. The expression of serum/glucocorticoid-induced kinase (SGK-1) and mitogen-activated protein kinase phosphatase-1 (MKP-1) in SPC-A1 cells after being cultured by 1 micromol/l DEX at different time was detected by semi-quantitative RT-PCR technology. The expression of glucocorticoid receptor (GR) in SPC-A1 cells was measured by immunohistochemistry (IHC) with biotin-labeled anti-GR. The results of MTT showed that SPC-A1 cells had resistance to CDDP-induced apoptosis with pre-cultured DEX and the resistance intensity presented DEX concentration-dependent. The expressing quantity of SGK-1 in SPC-A1 cells stimulated by DEX could be elevated and increased with intention of time, but the express of MKP-1 was not detected. Up-regulated expression of GR in SPC-A1 cells stimulated by DEX was detected by IHC. The number of cells expressing GR in SPC-A1 cells was significantly higher than that in the control group. The results showed that DEX inhibited apoptosis of SPC-A1 cells induced by CDDP. The possible molecular mechanism is that elevated expression of GR induced by DEX up-regulates the expression of SGK-1 which locates at the downstream of anti-apoptosis pathway. The apoptosis resistance of SPC-A1 cells may account for all above the factors.

Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2017;21(3):464-470
BACKGROUND:In the total hip arthroplasty, intravenous and topical tranexamic acid can significantly reduce the perioperative blood loss and blood transfusion rate, but at present, the clinical application of tranexamic acid is stil controversial. OBJECTIVE:Cochrane system evaluation method is applied on the efficacy and safety of intravenous combined with topical application versus single-dose intravenous application of tranexamic acid in the total hip arthroplasty. METHODS:We searched the Cochrane Library, PubMed, Ovid, EMBASE, CBM, Wanfang, VIP and CNKI database, from inception to July 2016 and retrieval of randomized control ed trials concerning intravenous combined with topical application and single dose intravenous application of tranexamic acid during total hip arthroplasty. Total blood loss, intraoperative blood loss, postoperative blood loss, blood transfusion rate, thrombosis, operation time, and length of hospital stay were analyzed by meta-analysis. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:(1) There were seven randomized control ed trials with 620 patients. (2) Meta-analysis results indicated that total blood loss, intraoperative blood loss, postoperative blood loss, and blood transfusion rate were significantly better in the combination group than in the single dose group (P<0.05). There were no significant differences in thrombosis, operation time, and length of hospital stay between the two methods (P>0.05). (3) These results suggested that compared with the single dose of intravenous application, intravenous combined with topical application, can significantly reduce the loss of blood volume and blood transfusion rate and did not increase the rate of thrombosis. Journal of Peking University(Health Sciences) 2003;0(05):-
Objective: To investigate the effect of Sirolimus on vein graft neointima hyperplasia via oral administration compared with local delivery, and find out an effective and safe way to provide support for clinical application. Methods: A rabbit external jugular vein-to-common carotid artery model was established. Twenty-four healthy rabbits were divided into 4 groups at random: blank-control group, F-127 control group, group 3 that received locally applied slow-releasing Sirolimus with F-127, group 4 that received oral Sirolimus (the commercial name Rapamune). The ratio of intima to medium thickness and re-stenosis rate (ratio of lumina to lumina plus intima area) were measured, PCNA positive cells by immunohistochemical staining were detected to indicate the degree of cell proliferation, and apoptosis cells detected by TUNEL. Results: Compared with blank-control group, neointima hyperplasia was inhibited significantly in group 3 and group 4 intima thickness were (90.11?10.99)?m versus (29.38?10.45) ?m, (18.29?9.03)?m, respectively. Re-stenosis rate was reduced (lumina area/ total area ratio were 0. 58?0.11 versus 0.80?0.16, 0.77?0.16, respectively). Proliferation of VSMC was inhibited (cell proliferation indexes were 31.03%?6.80% versus 20.32%?9.19%, 16.22%?5.85%, respectively) and cell apoptosis level raised (cell apoptosis indexes were 16.27%?6.49% versus 33.39%? 7.05%, 33.42%?7.11%, respectively). There was no significant difference between group 3 and group 4. Conclusion: Both locally applied slow-releasing Sirolimus and oral Rapamune could inhibit vein graft neointima hyperplasia; Administration via local delivery was preferred for little side-effect on the whole body. This conclusion provides support for clinical application.

Chinese Journal of Anesthesiology 2011;31(7):878-880
ObjectiveTo evaluate the effect of aminoguanidine on expression of inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) in neurons in the small intestinal nerve plexus of starved rats.MethodsNinety male SD rats weighing 230-270 g were randomly divided into 3 groups:group normal control (group C,n =10) ; group starvation (group S,n=40) and group starvation + aminoguanidine (group A,n =40).The animals were allowed free access to water but no food during starvation in S and A groups. In group A the animals were given aminoguanidine 150 mg·kg-1 ·d-1 intraperitoneally during starvation.Ten animals were sacrificed at 3,5,7 and 9 d of starvation respectively and intestine specimens were taken for determination of ratio of intestinal transit using dextran blue-2000 as indicator. Then the specimens of intestinal myenteric nerve plexus of ileum were collected and stained by histochemistry with nicotinamide-adenine dinucleotide phosphate-d for determination of iNOS expression.ResultsStarvation significantly reduced the small intestinal transit and increased iNOS expression in neurons in the myenteric nerve plexus of small intestine in proportion to days of starvation in group S compared with group C.Intraperitoneal aminoguanidine significantly attenuated the starvation-induced changes in intestinal transit and iNOS expression.ConclusionAminoguanidine can attenuate the up-regulation of the expression of iNOS in neurons in the myenteric nerve plexus of small intestine induced by starvation and is helpful in promoting the intestinal transit in starved rats.
