Objective:To understand the influence factors of suicidal ideation among college students of military medical university and to provide reasonable suggestion for preventing suicide among college students.Methods:701 college students were investigated and multiple logistic regression was used to analyse the major influence factors for suicidal ideation Results:Multiple logistic regression analysis shows the major influence factors for suicidal ideation are score,depression,life events and social support.Conclusions:According to the influence factors of suicidal ideation,taking appropriate measures to prevent suicide among college students is an urgent task.

BACKGROUND:Bone marrow mesenchymal stem cels have low immunogenicity and can induce immune tolerance. At present, the mechanism of immune regulation of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cels is not completely understood. It has been rarely reported whether the bone marrow mesenchymal stem cels can migrate to the thymus after transplantation.
OBJECTIVE:To observe the distribution and survival of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cels in the thymus of aging rats after transplantation.
METHODS: Bone marrow mesenchymal stem cels cultured in vitrowere transfected by adenovirus vectors expressing green fluorescent protein. Transfected bone marrow mesenchymal stem cels were injected into the portal vein of aging rats. At days 3, 7, 14, 21 after transplantation, the survival of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cels homing to the thymus was observed under fluorescence microscope. At day 3 after transplantation, thymus tissues were taken and stained with hematoxylin-eosin for pathological observation.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Green fluorescent protein-labeled bone marrow mesenchymal stem cels had a strong green fluorescence at days 3 and 7 after transplantation, and the cel contour was clear. There was no significant difference in the mean absorbance values at days 3 and 7 (P> 0.05). Expression of green fluorescent protein was weakened significantly at days 14 and 21 compared with that at day 3 (P < 0.05). At 3 days after transplantation, the transplanted bone marrow mesenchymal stem cels were clearly visible in the thymus, and acute rejection was not observed. The results show that bone marrow mesenchymal stem cels can migrate to the damaged thymus tissue through the blood circulation, and can survive at least 1 week.

Objective To study the effects of resveratrol on cell morphology and related factors of gastric cancer cell line in vitro.Methods Drug sensitivity was detected by MTT assay.Changes of its biological characteristics were determined using light microscopy,electron microscopy cell counting by MTT assay,flow cytometry(FCM).Results Resveratrol(0.1g/L、0.2g/L)could arrest the suspended gastric cancer cell(MGC803)to S phase respectively.Resveratrol significantly inhibited growth and proliferation of MGC803 cells in dose-dependent manner.Conclusion Resveratrol(0.1g/L 、0.2g/L)may inhibit MGC803 cell growth.

Objective To study the relationship between serum retinal binding protein 4 (RBP4) level and acute cerebral infarction,and to analyze the correlation between RBP4 level and the related risk factors of acute cerebral infarction.Methods One hundred and sixty patients with acute cerebral infarction were chosen as observation group,and 80 cases of contemporaneous healthy examined people were selected as control group.The levels of serum RBP4,body mass index (BMI),fasting blood glucose (FBG),fasting serum insulin (FINS),glycosylated hemoglobin (HbA1c),total cholesterol (TC),triglyceride (TG),high density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C),low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) and blood pressure after admission of each group were measured.Statistic analysis was processed between the level of serum RBP4 and acute cerebral infarction or related risk factors.Results The level of serum RBP4 in observation group was increased compared with that in control group [(41.68 ± 5.12) mg/L vs.(23.84 ± 3.26) mg/L],and there was significant difference (P ＜ 0.01).The Pearson relative analysis showed positive correlation between the level of serum RBP4 and related risk factors of acute cerebral infarction FBG,FINS,LDL-C,BMI,systolic pressure.The Logistic stepwise regression analysis suggested that BMI,LDL-C and age were independently associated with the level of serum RBP4.Conclusion RBP4 plays an important role in the incidence of acute cerebral infarction,high RBP4 level may be one of the dangerous factors of acute cerebral infarction patients and could provide reference to prevents the cerebral infarction.

OBJECTIVE:To establish a method for simultaneous determination of the contents of three components in synthesis and actual satongfeng injection.METHODS:A flexible tolerance simplex method was used for multi-wavelength spectrophotometry with interval of 1nm in 258～290nm wavelenth,33 wavelenths were selected.RESULTS:The linear range and average recoveries rate of sodium salicylate,phenazone and caffeine were 0～42,0～12,0～6?g?mL-1 and(99.93?0.22)%,(99.85?0.24)% and(100.19?0.40)% respectively.All were agreed with those by standard method.CONCLUSIONS:This method is easy in operation,fast and reproducible,applicable to automatic analysis,and therefore can be used for the quality control of the preparation.

Objective To research the changes of calcium regulation hormone and bone mineral density (BMD) in type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM ) patients and analyze the main impact factors. Methods 117 T2DM patients (T2DM group ,M/F=52/65 ,age 40~79 years) and 63 age‐ and gender‐matched healthy people (NC group) were selected in this study. According to the course of diabetes ,blood glucose control and the value of BMD ,T2DM patients were divided into subgroups :course≤10 years ,and>10 years ;HbA1 c≤8% ,and>8% ;normal BMD ,osteopenia ,and osteoporosis (OP). Serum 25‐hydroxy vitamin D3 [25(OH)D3 ]and Parathormone (PTH) were measured and BMDs of lumbar spine (L1 ~L4 ) , femoral neck ,total hip ,and whole body were evaluated for all the subjects. Result (1)Compared with NC group ,the level of serum 25(OH)D3 and BMDs of femoral neck and total hip decreased significantly in T2DM group[ (35.57 ± 12.30)nmol/L ,(0.848 ± 0.136)g/cm2 ,(0.873 ± 0.150)g/cm2 vs(44.94 ± 17.40) nmol/L ,(0.927 ± 0.173)g/cm2 ,(0.934 ± 0.140)g/cm2 ,respectively ,P<0.01 or P<0.05)]. The level of PTH increased in T2DM group[ (8.50 ± 4.15) vs(5.62 ± 3.93)pmol/L ,P<0.01]. (2)Compared with the group duration of diabetes≤10 years ,BMD of femoral neck and total hip decreased in patients with duration of diabetes>10 years[ (0.814 ± 0.148) ,(0.840 ± 0.157) vs (0.882 ± 0.111) ,(0.908 ± 0.139) g/cm2 ,respectively ,P<0.05]. The level of PTH increased [(10.55 ± 9.09) vs (7.06 ± 3.74)pmol/L , P<0.05)]. 25(OH)D3 and total body BMD have no significant difference(P>0.05). (3)Compared with HbA1c≤8% group ,BMD of femoral neck and total hip in HbA1c> 8% group decreased [(0.830 ± 0.131) ,(0.832 ± 0.161) vs (0.891 ± 0.130) ,(0.949 ± 0.130)g/cm2 ,respectively ,P<0.05]. The level of PTH increased [(9.96±8.80) vs (7.21±3.98)pmol/L ,P<0.05]. 25(OH)D3and total body BMD have no significant difference(P> 0.05). (4)The rates of OP and osteopenia (41.03% ,47.86% ) in T2DM were higher than those in NC group (26.98% ,33.33% ) (χ2 =4.367 ,4.669 ,P<0.05). The duration of diabetes and the levels of HbA1c and PTH were longer or higher in OP group than those with normal BMD or osteopenia (P<0.05). (5)Logistic regression analysis showed that BMD negatively correlated with the duration of diabetes ,HbA1c ,and PTH (β= 0.076 ,0.213 ,0.112 ,respectively ,P< 0.05) ,and positively correlated with 25(OH)D3 (β= -0.043 ,P<0.05). Conclusion The values of BMD decreased and the incidence of OP is higher in T2DM patients ,particularly in patients with longer diabetic duration and poor glycemic control.

Objective To investigate the expression of miR-155 ,nuclear factor kappa B (NF-κB) and soluble intercellular adhesion molecule -1 (sICAM-1 ) in peripheral blood in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM ) ,and to explore the role of miR-155 in vascular lesions of T2DM. Methods A total of 165 T2DM patients and 60 health subjects from health examinations were enrolled in this study. All the subjects were divided into two groups :subjects without vascular lesions group and vascular disease group. Vascular disease group was further divided into microangiopathy group ,macroangiopathy group , microangiopathy+ macroangiopathy group ;based on 24 hUAlb level normal urinary albumin (NAU ) group ,microalbuminuria (MAU) group ,macroalbuminuria (MAAU) group. MiR-155 ,NF-κB and sICAM-1 in peripheral blood were tested by RT-PCR. Single factor analysis of variance was used for comparison among groups. Stepwise regression analysis was used for correlation factors analysis. Results The expression of miR-155 ,NF-κB and sICAM-1 were significantly higher in T2DM group than in NC group [(1.82 ± 0.71) vs (1.00 ± 0.12) ,(2.28 ± 0.66) vs (1.04 ± 0.33) ,(1.88 ± 0.80) vs (1.03 ± 0.30) ,P<0.05]. The level of miR-155 ,NF-κB ,sICAM-1 were significantly higher in T2DM vascular lesions group than in subjects without vascular lesions group [(1.95 ± 0.73) vs (1.34 ± 0.29) ,(2.40 ± 0.65) vs (1.65 ± 0.16 ) ,(2.01 ± 0.77 ) vs (1.07 ± 0.41 ) ,P < 0.05 ]. The expression of miR-155 was higher in microangiopathy+ macroangiopathy group than in macroangiopathy group [(2.36 ± 0.61 ) vs (1.77 ± 0.59) ,P < 0.05 ].The expression of NF-κB was also significantly higher in microangiopathy +macroangiopathy group than in microvascular disease group and macroangiopathy group (P<0.05). The level of miR-155 was significantly higher in group MAU group and MAAU group than in NAU group [(1.41 ± 0.49) ,(2.64 ± 0.52) vs (1.04 ± 0.20) ,P<0.05] ,and NF-κB and sICAM-1 were also higher than NAU group (P<0.05). Multiple stepwise regression analysis showed that miR-155 was positively correlated with NF-κB and sICAM-1(t=4.235 ,9.728 ,P<0.01). Conclusion The expression of miR-155 increases in T2DM patients with vascular complications ,and this trend is the same as NF-κB and sICAM-1. It suggests that miR-155 maybe involves in the pathogenesis of diabetic chronic vascular disease.

Objective To assess the effect of rhein on diabetic nephropathy in rats with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Methods Diabetes was induced by high-lipids and high-sucrose diets (20% sucrose, 10% lard, 2.5% cholesterol, 1% cholic acid and 66.5 % regular chow, w/w) for 1 month and then intraperitoneal injection with 25 mg/kg streptozoticin(STZ) in female inbred Wistar rats. Rhein was continuously given 100 mg?kg-1?day-1 for 6 months 1 week after STZ injection in rhein-prevented group, and 1 month after STZ injection in rhein-treated group. Blood and urinary biochemistry and renal morphology were evaluated at divers times. Results Rhein ameliorated hypertriglyceridemia and hypercholesterolemia, but had few effect on the level of plasma glucose in both rhein-prevented group and rhein-treated group. Excretion of urinary protein reduced markedly and stable-state plasma glucose (SSPG) level decreased in both groups as compared with diabetic group. Examination of kidney sections from both rhein-prevented group and rhein-treated group showed that the structural lesions of glomeruli including mesangial expansion, diffuse glomerulosclersis and thickening of glomerular basement membrane, as well as artery injury such as arteriolar hyalinosis, atherosclerosis were markedly improved as compared with diabetic group. Morphometry of glomeruli from both rhein-prevented group and rhein-treated group showed that glomerular grow and mesangial hypertrophy occurred in diabetic group were ameliorated. The accumulation of fibronectin examined by immunostaining in glomeruli was reduced in both groups. Conclusion Therapeutic intervention with rhein can halt the progression of diabetic nephropathy and prevent the development of glomerulosclerosis and vascular injuries in this animal model of type 2 diabetes mellitus.

Objective To investigate the changes of serum angiopoietin-like protein 3 (Angptl3) and adiponectin levels in patients with metabolic syndrome (MS) in order to understand their association with the MS. Methods Serum Angptl3 and adiponectin levels were measured by sandwich ELISA in a group of 111 patients with MS and 152 normal controls. Results Serum adiponectin was lower in the MS patients than in the control subjects [4.22(1.01-23.29) μg/mL vs. 5.41(0.97-22.27) μg/mL, P＜0.05]. With regard to serum Angptl3, there was no significant difference between the 2 groups(P＞0.05). Serum adiponectin was correlated to Angptl3 and high density lipoprotein-cholesterol (HDL-C)(P＜0.001) and negatively correlated to body mass index (BMI), waist circumference (WC), waist to hip ratio (WHR), triglyceride (TG), fasting plasma glucose (FBG), fasting insulin (FINS) and homeostatic model assessment method-insulin resistance (HOMA-IR) (P＜0.001). Serum Angptl3 was positively correlated with adiponectin (P＜0.001). Serum adiponectin was found to be independently positive determinant for Angptl3 concentrations (b′=0.256, P＜0.001). Adiponectin was inversely correlated with TG and HOMA-IR (b′=-0.234, -0.145, P＜0.001). Conclusion Adiponectin is decreased in MS patients and may be correlated to Angptl3.

Objective To establish a duplex fluorescence PCR for detection of HIV proviral DNA and to evaluate its application for early diagnosis of HIV infection in infants .Methods A duplex fluores-cence PCR system was set up based on TaqMan technology for detection of human ribonuclease P ( RNase P) gene and long terminal repeat ( LTR) region of HIV.A recombinant plasmid containing the targeted gene fragment , pTG19-T, was constructed by TA cloning technique and used as the template for evaluation of sen -sitivity of the assay .Blood samples from 11 healthy individuals and 98 HIV-infected patients were collected and detected to validate the assay specificity .The assay of duplex fluorescence PCR was then carried out to detect 96 infant blood samples collected from several maternal and child health hospitals in Zhejiang province from January 2011 to September 2012 for early diagnosis of HIV infection .The results were compared with those by using the Roche HIV DNA qualitative detection kit .Results The established duplex fluorescence PCR could specifically detect HIV proviral DNA with a specificity of 100%and a detection sensitivity of 100 cps per reaction .The coincidence rate between the established assay and the Roche HIV DNA qualitative de -tection kit was 100%in the detection of 96 blood samples .Conclusion The duplex fluorescence PCR as-say showed advantages of cost-effectiveness , convenience , good specificity and accuracy with high sensitivi-ty.It could be used for early diagnosis of HIV infection in infants and also as a general technical platform for the detection of HIV proviral DNA .
