OBJECTIVE:To establish the quality standard of Patch for hyperosteogeny.METHODS:Mastic and Myrrh in Patch for hyperosteogeny were qualitatively identified by TLC,and the content of paeoniflorin in preparation were determined by HPLC.RESULTS:The identification of TLC has a good resolution and specificity.The linear range of paeoniflorin were 0.204～1.428 ?g(r=0.999 2) with an average recovery of 99.41%(RSD=0.64%,n=6).CONCLUSION:Established standard can be used for the quality control of Patch for hyperosteogeny.

Objective:To investigate the effect of basic periodontal therapy on levels of blood glucose,blood lipid,and tumor necrosis factor-alpha(TNF-?) among patients with periodontal diseases in insulin dependent diabetes patients.Methods:Forty insulin dependent diabetes patients with periodontitis were selected and divided into basic periodontal therapy group and control group.The periodontal clinic index,blood glucose,blood lipid,glycosylated hemoglobin(HbA1c),and serum TNF-? concentrations were assessed before treatment and 4 weeks,3 and 6months after basic periodontal therapy.Results:The HbA1c,TNF-?,total cholesterol(TC),tyiglycerides(TG) in basic periodontal therapy group were significant decreased after periodontal therapy,and meanwhile had significant difference compared with that in control group.Conclusion:The basic periodontal therapy can help to control the blood glucose level in insulin dependent diabetes mellitus with periodonitis.

Objective To investigate the roles of toll like receptor7 (TLR7) and toll like receptor 9 (TLR9) in the pathogenesis of acute pancreatitis.Methods AR42J cells were treated by lipopolysaccharide at different dosages (0,1,10,100 mg/L),and cell model of acute pancreatitis in vitro was established.AR42J cells without lipopolysaccharide treatment were as control.Cells and culture supernatant were collected after 24 hours cultivation.TLR7,TLR9 mRNA and protein expressions were detected by RT-PCR and Western Blot,and levels of TNF-α,IL-10 in culture supernatant were measured by ELISA.Results The TLR 7 mRNA expression levels in control group,1,10,100 mg/L lipopolysaccharide group were 0.12 ± 0.09,0.28 ± 0.06,0.49 ± 0.04,0.78 ± 0.04,and the TLR9 mRNA expression levels were 0.06 ± 0.02,0.32 ± 0.03,0.56 ± 0.14,0.84 ± 0.12; the TLR7 protein expression levels were 0.04 ± 0.01,0.26 ± 0.05,0.49 ±0.04,0.77 ±0.16,and the TLR9 protein expression levels were 0.10 ±0.14,0.62 ±0.23,1.21 ± 0.26,1.75 ± 0.13 ; the TNF-α levels in culture supernatant were (8.01 ± 5.32),(25.64 ± 8.71),(49.06 ± 10.23),(75.83 ± 6.65) ng/L,and the IL-10 levels were (155.54 ± 25.47),(105.16 ± 10.49),(69.36 ± 8.19),(14.07 ± 9.06)ng/L.The expression levels of TLR7 and TLR9's mRNA,protein in cell,as well as the levels of TNF-α in culture supernatant increased with the lipopolysaccharide concentration,while the levels of IL-10 in culture supernatant decreased with the lipopolysaccharide concentration,and the difference among these groups was statistically significant (P ＜ 0.01).Conclusions The expressions of TLR7 and TLR9 in AR42J cells treated by using lipolysaccharide are obviously up-regulated,and it suggests that TLR7 and TLR9 may be vital in the pathogenesis of acute pancreatitis.

ObjectiveTo investigate the correlation between serum levels ofthyroglobulin antibody (TGAb),thyroid peroxidase antibody (TPOAb) and hypothyroidism incidence in Graves disease after 131Ⅰ therapy.MethodsThree hundred and twenty-five patients with Graves disease whose TGAb and TPOAb were negative before treatment were selected.Serum levels of FT3,FT4,TSH,TGAb and TPOAb were measured at the 3rd,6th,12th and 18th month after treatment respectively.All cases were divided into positive group and negative group according to the serum levels of TGAb and TPOAb at the 18th month after 131Ⅰ treatment.The hypothyroidism incidences of two groups were compared.ResultsThere were 271 cases in negative group and 54 cases in positive group.The hypothyroidism incidence was 7.4％(24/325),and the incidence of negative group was 3.0％ (8/271),while the incidence of positive group was 29.6％ (16/54).There was significant difference between two groups(P ＜ 0.05).ConclusionsHypothyroidism incidence of Graves disease after 131Ⅰ therapy has obvious correlation with the serum levels of TGAb and TPOAb.Dynamic observation of the serum levels of TGAb and TPOAb in Graves disease after 131Ⅰ therapy has important significance for clinical guiding and prognosis judgement.

Thirty-five patients with perioperative pulmonary embolism during January 2000 and October 2006 were analyzed retrospectively.Disease diagnosis and treatment outcomes were assessed.Of the 35 patients,2 died without any management,and 33 received conventional anti-coagulation and thrombolysis.including 3 percutaneous catheterization.Disease improvement Was seen in 29.Four deaths occurred after no response to the treatment.Thus,early diagnosis and treatment,which miight depend on further understanding of pulmonary embolism,could play an important role in reduced adverse events.Prevention is crucial to avoid perioperative occurrence of pulmonary embolism.

Cerebral palsy (CP) is the most common activity limitition of children, their movement and posture impairments persist throughout whole life.In recent years, CP has been significantly increasing with the improved survival rate of newborns.This may lead to a great burden and costs to both the family and the society.A variety of risk factors have been proposed to be associated with CP.However, recent abroad researches indicate that genetic factors may predispose to CP of newborns and initial results of related researches infer that several susceptibility genes may contribute to CP's development, masqueraders have a great impact on CP's clinical symptoms.Now, the recent publications related to virulence genes and masqueraders of CP are reviewed.
