OBJECTIVE:To provide reference for rational drug use in the clinic. METHODS:By retrospective survey meth-od,the drug utilization of IVF outpatient department in our hospital during Jun. 2012-May 2014 were analyzed statistically in re-spects of consumption structure,consumption sum and DDDs,etc. RESULTS:Oral medicine was major type of medicines in IVF outpatient department,followed by injection;total consumption sum was on the rise,and the sum of injection accounted for large proportion. Ovulation stimulants and sex hormone class medicine,vitamin and other nutritional drugs were main drugs used in IVF outpatient department. The consumption sum and DDDs showed obvious asynchronism. CONCLUSIONS:The drug use is reason-able on the whole. But expensive ovulation stimulants increase the economic burden of patients to some extent.

NK cells can be divided into two subsets based on CD27 expression:CD27hiNK cells and CD27loNK cells.NK cells can be further divided into four subsets based on CD27 and CD11b: CD11bloCD27lo,CD11bloCD27hi,CD11bhiCD27hi and CD11bhiCD27lo.These subsets in different development stages have their own phenotypes and functions.In mice,NK cell developing pathway is through CD11bloCD27lo→CD11bloCD27hi→CD11bhiCD27hi→CD11bhiCD27lo.CD27 can also be used to divide human NK cells into two subsets which are comparable to those of mice.

Determination of SCE frequency, chromosomal aberration and micronucleus rate of cultured peripheral lymphocytes of 38 miners who worked in the well, and 40 non-miners who worked outside the well in Dachang Area and 27 other workers who didn't work and live there (as control group) was carried out. The result showed that the miners had higher SCE incidence and chromosomal aberration rate. The nonmining workers and the control group had much lower rates. There was a significant difference between the miners and non-miners or control group, but no statistically differences were found between the non-miners and the control group. Micronucleus rate among the miners, the non-miners and the control group were all the same level statistically. We proposed that some toxic substances in the Dachang Tin Mine might be respousible for the genetic damages in the miners. We suggested that a combined assay of SCE with chromosomal aberration or micronucleus might be a good screening method for the high risk population such as the miners in Dachang Tin Mine.

OBJECTIVE:To analyze the factors in the causation of cefradine-induced hematuria.METHODS:The material in CHINESE BIBLIOGRAPHIC DATA BASE OF BIOLOGY & MEDICINE(from 1980 to February 2001)and PHARMACEUTICAL ABSTRACTS(1990～2000)was reviewed and the data were analysed on patients'age and sex,route of drug administration,beginning of hematuria,prognosis and time of recovery.RESULTS:18 reports on cefradine-induced hematuria(108 cases) were found,which indicated that hematuria was mainly associated with renal hypoplasia in childhood and intravenous administration of cefradine.CONCLUSION:Intravenous administration of cefradine in children should be very careful.

Objective To compare the effects of target-controlled infusion (TCI) of propofol and remifentanil and inhalation anesthesia on the stress response in patients undergoing laparoscopic cholecystectomy (LC). Methods Selective LC was performed on 60 cases. Before the surgery,the patients were randomly divided into experiment (TCI of propofol and remifentanil) and control (standard general anesthesia combined with inhalation of fluorinated alkane and laughing gas) groups with 30 cases in each. The serum levels of cortisol and IL-6 were detected before the induction (t1) and 20 minutes after pneumoperitoneum (t2). In addition,the MAP and HR of the two groups were monitored at seven time points. Results The serum levels of cortisol and IL-6 in the experiment group were similar to those in the control at t1 [Cortisol:(227.48?50.81) ?g/L vs (233.21?41.02) ?g/L,t=0.481,P=0.633; IL-6:(105.99?30.65) ng/L vs (111.20?34.80) ng/L,t=-0.615,P=0.541],but significantly lower at t2 [Cortisol:(241.00?69.11) ?g/L vs (354.70?37.55) ?g/L,t=7.918,P=0.000; IL-6:(116.06?30.89) ng/L vs (172.73?23.54) ng/L,t=-7.992,P=0.000]. Objective To investigate the expression level of monocytes ATP-binding cassette transporter A1(ABCA1) stimulated by oxidized low-density lipoprotein (ox-LDL) in patients with coronary heart disease (CHD) for exploring the mechanism of ABCA1 in the pathogenesis of atherosclerosis (AS). Methods Human monocytes of patients in CHD group (n=42) and normal control group (n=40) were isolated by density gradient centrifugation with separating medium (1.077). ABCA1 was labeled by immune reaction PE fluorescence, then the expression of ABCA1 before and after being incubated with the ox-LDL (30mg/L) for 24 hours was investigated by flow cytometer, and the changes in ABCA1 expression were observed. The differences between the two groups and the correlation between ABCA1 expression and blood lipids were analyzed. Results The high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) and apolipoprotein A1 (apoA1) levels in CHD group (1.15?1.40 and 1.19?0.17, respectively) were significantly lower than that in control group (1.36?0.40 and 1.34?0.22, respectively, P0.05). Conclusions ABCA1 expression in the patients with CHD may be inhibited by high concentration of ox-LDL. The lowered expression of ABCA1 and the abnormal lipids spectrum may decrease the reverse cholesterol transport (RCT), and contribute to the development of AS and CHD.

Objective To explore the curative effects, side effects and complications of arterial embolization for the treatment of uterine leiomyoma.Methods Bilateral uterine arterial embolization with silk particles of 350～500 ?m was performed in 16 cases of uterine leiomyomas with uterine hemorrhage as the main complaint.Results 15 patients underwent technically successful embolization. No serious complications occurred. The patients were followed up for 3～12 months. Menses returned to regular cycle. In the patients with anemia, the hemoglobin concentration rose up to normal level. The sizes of uterine leiomyoma decreased by 52% after 6 months of the treatment.Conclusions Uterine arterial embolization is an effective and less invasive therapy with no serious complications for patients with uterine leiomyoma, especially for presentation of the uterus.

Volatile oil from the clove bud was extracted by petroleum ether using Soxhlet Extractor.The acaricidal activity was examined using direct contact and vapour phase toxicity bioassays.In a filter paper contact toxicity bio-assay,at 2.5 h after treatment,clove bud oil at a dose of 12.20 ?g/cm2 killed all dust mites.As judged by 24-h LD50 values,potent fumigant action was observed with clove bud oil(12.20 ?g/cm2),showing an adequate acaricidal activity against indoor Dermatophagoides farinae.

Objective To study the effects of TSPG on apoptosis of K562 cells and the probable mechanism involved. Methods MTT was used to investigate the proliferation of K562 cells;Flow cytometry(FCM) was used to investigate the effects of TSPG on apoptosis of K562 cells; The expression of Survivin in K562 cells treated with differ-ent concentraction of TSPG were examined by RT-PCR. Results The growth of K562 cells was inhibited by TSPG in the concentration dependent manner (P < 0.05). FCM showed that the apoptosis rates of cells in 100 μg/L (23.78%) and 200μg/L TSPG group(33.98%) were higher than those in 101μg/L TSPG group(16.67%), with significant difference(P <0.01 or P < 0.05). The expression rates of Survivin were decreased by the treatment with the increasing concentrations of TSPG (P < 0.05). Conclusion TSPG can restrain the human leukemic cell growth and induce cell apoptosis,which may be related to the decreased expressions of Survivin.
