Objective To explore the risk factors of acute organophosphorus pesticide poisoning(AOPP). Method The patients with acute organophosphorus pesticide poisoning, admitted from September 2004 to August 2005,were retrospectively analyzed. The 87 patients were divided into groups according to the presence or absence of combined conditions including hypotension, hypoxemia or metabolic acidosis.Acute physiology and chronic health evaluationⅡ(APACHEⅡ)score was calculated. The chi-square test was used to examine the mortality between those groups. Results The total in-hospital mortality of 87 acute organophosphorus pesticide poisoning patients was 21.8%.The mean APACHEⅡscore was(7.58?5.32)in the 68 survivors and(21.17~9.46)in the 19 dead, there were significant differences between the survivors and the dead(t=9.25,P20 was 65.2%(15/23),andit was 6.3% (4/64)in patients with APACHEII score
2. MicroRNA-7 silencing EGFR/PI3K pathway reverses the malignant phenotype of U251 glioma cells
Tumor 2011;31(11):987-992
Objective: To investigate the malignant phenotype of human glioma cells by microRNA-7 (miR-7) silencing epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR)/ phosphatidylinositol kinase-3 (PI3K) pathway. Methods: The human U251 glioma cells were transfected with pri-miR-7. The expression of miR-7 was analyzed by real-time fluorogenic quantitative-PCR (RFQ-PCR). The expressions of epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR), PI3K and AKT2 proteins were detected by immunocytochemistry and Western blotting. The cell growth curves were drawn, and the cell cycle distribution induced by miR-7 was determined by flow cytometry (FCM). The cell migration ability and tumorigenicity were detected by Transwell chamber assay and soft agar colony assay, respectively. Results: The result of RFQ-PCR showed that the expression level of miR-7 was up-regulated in human glioma cells transfected with pri-miR-7. The expression levels of EGFR, PI3K and AKT2 proteins were down-regulated in glioma U251 cells transfected with pri-miR-7 (P < 0.05). The cell proliferation rate was slowed down, and the proportion of S phase cells was reduced. The abilities of cell migration and soft agar colony formation of U251 cells transfected with pri-miR-7 were significantly reduced (P < 0.05). Conclusion: MiR-7 transfection can effectively silence the expressions of key members of EGFR/PI3K pathway and reverse the malignant phenotype of U251 cells and which is expected to become a new choice of glioma gene therapy. Objective To investigate the main risk factors and protective factors of malignant tumors in Taian City. Methods Esophagus, lung, stomach, liver Malignancies in Taian City, 1:1 matched case-control study, application conditions of the relevant factors, logistic regression univariate and multivariate analysis were done. Results For esophageal and gastric cancer, the common risk factors were eating hot, dry, hard, deep fried foods, and also animal food, heavy drinking, family history of cancer, the staple food pancake with esophageal cancer-related. For lung cancer, heavy smokers, living in and around the sources of pollution, may increase the probability of illness, hepatitis B virus infection, chronic liver disease history, unstable emotion, eating and drinking are the major risk factors for liver cancer. Tea on the four kinds of malignant tumors often have a protective effect. Raw garlic, fruits and vegetables, dairy soy foods can prevent esophageal cancer and gastric cancer. Conclusion To promote proper exercise, stop and smoking alcohol drinking, psychological balance, good dietary habits, can effectively prevent the occurrence of malignant tumors.

AIM: To analyze the application on frequency domain optical coherence tomography ( OCT ) technology of pathologic myopia optic disc neurosensory retinal thickness changes and its relationship with axis oculi, sex and age, and help for the early diagnosis of pathological myopia and primary open angle glaucoma.
METHODS:Collected 96 eyes of normal eyes ( axis oculi 23-24mm) and 153 eyes of pathologic myopia eyes ( axis oculi 25-27mm 80 eyes, >27mm 73 eyes). We measured the thickness of nerve fiber layer of the optic disc by OCT and analyzed their relationship with axis oculi, sex and age with multiple linear regression analysis.
RESULTS: The observation group showed significant smaller average thickness of peripapillary, superior, inferior, nasal than the control group ( P<0. 05 ); the difference in the temporal quadrant between the groups were no statistically significant differences (P>0. 05); The partial correlation coefficient of peripapillary average thickness of nerve fiber layer and axis oculi was -1. 31, gender was 5. 21, age was -0. 12.
CONCLUSION:The thickness of nerve fiber layer of the optic disc in the pathologic myopia eyes are decreased than normal eyes, axis oculi, sex and age are influenced factors. The pathologic myopia patients should use different index combined with optic nerve fiber layer thickness decreased to help for the diagnosis of early primary open angle glaucoma.

This paper reported a new method of Armillaria mellea isolation-Gastrodia elata tissue isolating. Compared with normal isolating method-rhizomorph isolating method, it showed that the success rate of new method (78% ) was higher than the rhizomorph isolating method (16% ) , besides this, the new method was easier, and growth characteristic of obtained strain was superior to that obtained from rhizomorph isolating method.
