Objective The absorbable haemostatic membrane was used to stop bleeding during posterior spinal surgery so as to investigate the therapeutic effect and the security of the absorbable haemostatic membrane. Methods Ninety-four patients were enrolled into the experimental group and the control group. In the experimental group , the decompression wound is handled by using the regular absorbable haemostatic membrane to stop bleeding. In the control group , the conventional surgical methods , such as coagulation , brain cotton and other methods were used to stop bleeding. After the operations , patients in two groups were given indwelling vacuum drainage tube. The post operation vacuum pipe drainage , the drainage tube removing time , the incidence of postoperative complications after removing drainage tubes , the reoperation number , vital signs after 24 hour (temperature, respiration, pulse, blood pressure), and laboratory tests (blood count, coagulation function parameters) were determined and compared between two groups. Results Both the vacuum drainage at 24 hours post operation and the total vacuum drainage post operation were significantly reduced in the experimental group(P < 0.05, respectively). No significant differences in the coagulation function parameters were found between both two groups. Conclusion The absorbable haemostatic membrane may be applicable for spinal surgery.

Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 1986;0(02):-
Objective To investigate the changes of serum immunoglobulin E(IgE)?T cell subgroups and cytokines in asthmatic children and to provide theoretical basis for the management of asthmatic children. Methods T cell subgroups were determined by indirect immuofluorence method mono clone antibody, the detection of IgE,interleukin(IL) 4,IL 6,IL 8,interferon ?(IFN ?) were done by ELISA method, and 20 normal children were served as control group. Results There were significant differences of CD3 +,CD4 +,CD4 +/CD8 + among the stages of exacerbation and convalescence of asthmatic children and control group.( P0.05).In the stage of convalescence the levels of IL 2,IFN ? were lower than control group( P0.05).Conclusions Allergic asthmatic patients between the exacerbation and convalescence stages still had immunologic imbalance, indicating increased number of CD4 +T cell(mainly Th2 cells)and hyperfunction;the insufficient number and(or) the inactivity of CD8 +T cell may induce immunological disturbance ,which is the major mechanism of asthmatic attacks. These findings suggest the patients in an abnormal immunological state should receive continuous anti allergic therapy.

Objective To investigate the interseed dose attenuation for multiple 125I seeds. Methods Monte Carlo simulation was done by Geant 4 to investigate the dose distribution of single seed and multiple seeds. The results were compared with the dose calculation method from TG43-U1 and examined by experiments. Results The difference of single seed dose distribution between Monte Carlo method and line source model was ± 3%.The difference between Monte Carlo method and experiment result was ± 5%.The interseed dose attenuation of multiple seeds at the interesting points was 3.8% to 13.2% and the average interseed dose attenuation was 7.2%.The difference of experiment result and Monte Carlo result was less than 6%.Conclusions The interseed attenuation is about 7% and the maximum value may be larger than 13% for multiple seeds. The interseed dose attenuation may be larger in tissue. So it is not accurate to calculate the dose distribution by using TG43-U1.

Objective: To study the health effects of selenium tea on cardiovascular system. Methods : Four groups of Wistar rats were fed standard diet and water, standard diet and selenium tea , high fat diet and water ,high fat diet and selenium tea respectively. Twelve weeks later, the plasma apoA , apoB, body weight, whole blood viscosity , plasma viscosity , and hematorcrit were determined while plasma fibrinogen and inhibition of erythrocyte aggregation were calculated. Results: At the end of the experiment ,the plasma apoA level of selenium tea groups was significantly higher than that of control group, while the ratio of apoB/apoA was significantly lower than that of control group. Selenium tea decreased the whole blood viscosity, plasma viscosity and inhibited erythrocyte aggregation and body weight. Conclusion: Selenium tea could significantly improve the lipoprotein metabolism and hermorrheology and decrease body weight of the rats fed high fat diet.

On the basis of the development of a new CE method for the analysis of α-lactalbumin (α-Lac), β-lactoglobulin A(β-LgA) and β-lactoglobulin B(β-LgB), different concentrations of acetic acid (HAc) and trichloroacetic acid (TCA) for the removal of proteins in raw milk, infant formula A and B, and yogurt were investigated. It was shown that TCA is better than HAc for eliminating of proteins in the above four samples. The proteins in 2 g of raw milk could be eliminated by 3 mL of 100 g/L TCA.0.5 g of infant formula A and B needs 5 mL of 10 g/L and 20 g/L TCA to remove the proteins, respectively. For 2 g of yogurt, 3 mL of 20 g/L TCA is enough. The present research may provide valuable information for protein-containing sample (such as raw milk, infant formula and yogurt) pretreatment.

Journal of Forensic Medicine 2015;31(1):44-47
Informed consent right is not just for basic ethical consideration, but is important for protecting patient's right by law, which is expressed through informed consent contract. The appraised individuals of forensic clinical examination have the similar legal status as the patients in medical system. However, the law does not require informed consent right for the appraised individuals. I recommend giving certain informed consent right to the appraised individuals in the forensic clinical examination. Under the contracted relationship with the institution, the appraised individuals could participate in the examination process, know the necessary information, and make a selected consent on the examination results, which can assure the justice and fairness of judicial examination procedure.

AIM:To explore the molecular mechanism of panaxadiol saponin(PDS)by observing Toll like receptor(TLR)2 and TLR9 mRNA expression induced by lipopolysaccharide(LPS).METHODS:Rats were divided into LPS,LPS+PDSL,LPS+PDSM and control group, respectively.Nitric oxide synthase(NOS)activity, nitric oxide(NO)content,LPO content,SOD activity and TLR2 and TLR9 mRNA expression were assayed 4 h after intravenous injection of LPS.RESULTS:NOS activity,NO content,LPO content of LPS+PDSL group and LPS+PDSM group were significantly lower than those in LPS group.TLR2 mRNA expression in the liver tissue of LPS+PDSL group and LPS+PDSM group was decreased compared with LPS group.CONCLUSION:PDS has a protective effect on liver tissues by triggering the down-regulation of TLR2 expression, reducing NOS activity, and NO content.
