Microbiology 1992;0(02):-
In order to cultivate advanced person with ability,we should teach students some theoretics and more practical skill during microbiology teaching. after we using the measures “examining on theoretics and practical skill that must be mastering in the lesson”. Students had been more interested in microbiology, and advanced of knowledge. So “examining on theoretics and practical skill that must be mastering in the lesson” is better method in teaching of Microbiology in Occupation technique college.

Objective To observe the effects of asthmatic children treated by inhaled salmeterol xinafoate and fluticasone propi-onate powder. Methods One hundred and fourty cases of moderate and severe asthmatic children were treated in non- acute period aged from 4 to 14 years by inhaling salmeterol xinafoate and fluticasone propionate powder, compared with control group treated by flu-ticasone propionate in 106 cases, and the pulmonary function was monitored simultaneously. Results The total effective rate of the treatment group and control group were 99. 3 % , 99. 1 % , respectively. The pulmonary function indexes such as the first one second expiration volume(FEV1), flow velocity of 50 % expiration vital capacity(FEF50%), peak expiration velocity(PEF1) after being treated 4 months was improved significantly compared with those before treatment. The difference between them was statistically significant (P

Microbiology 1992;0(04):-
The biochemical mechanism of degrading keratins by S.fradiae var S-221 was primarily studied. The compounds (Na_ 2 SO_ 4 , Na_ 2 SO_ 3 and sulfdryl acohol), which respecitively enhance specific activity of keratinase, activate keratinase intensively and mainly act on the disulfide bonds reductase in the keratinase, Na_ 2 SO_ 3 activates intensively both disulfide bonds reductase and polypeptide hydrolytase at 0.01 mol/L, whereas Na_ 2 S_ 2 O_ 3 , which acts on the disulfide bonds reductase, inhibits keratinase. On the condition that substrate, keratins exists, S.fradiae var S-221 is induced to produce exo-keratinase, which is a multiproteinase, containing disulfide bonds reductase, which is a key enzyme degrading keratins, then, with polypeptidic, hydrolytase, graduately hydrolyzates denatured keratins into polypeptides, oligopeptides and free amino acids, so that keratins have been decomposed completely.Sulfur in the keratins was transferred into sulfhydryl compounds, H_ 2 S and sulfates in the course of keratinolysine.

OBJECTIVETo investigate whether the cardioprotection of mitochondrial Slo channel (mitoSlo(1) channel) is associated with mitochondrial permeability transition in isolated rat hearts subjected to ischemia and reperfusion.
METHODSIsolated perfused rat hearts were subjected to 30 min regional ischemia (occlusion of left anterior descending artery) and 120 min reperfusion. The infarct size, lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) release during reperfusion and ventricular hemodynamic parameters were measured.
RESULTSPretreatment with mitoSlo(1) channel opener, NS1619 10 micromol/L for 10 min reduced the infarct size and LDH release, and improved the recovery of left ventricular developed pressure, left ventricular end-diastolic pressure, maximal rise/fall rate of left ventricular pressure and coronary flow during reperfusion. Administration of atractyloside (20 micromol/L), an opener of mitochondrial permeability transition pore, for 20 min (last 5 min of ischemia and first 15 min of reperfusion) attenuated the reduction of infarct size and LDH release and improvement of left ventricular performance induced by NS1619. In the isolated mitochondria, a significant inhibition of Ca(2+)-induced swelling was observed when mitochondria were incubated with NS1619.
CONCLUSIONMitoSlo(1) channel activation by NS1619 protects the myocardium against ischemia and reperfusion injury by inhibiting mitochondrial permeability transition pore opening.
