Objective To develope energic spectrum of super-large solar particle events (SPE),human body model and a Monte Carlo method for estimating the organ dose of astronauts in SPE without the shielding of geomagnetic field. Methods A voxel-based human phantom and shielding model of spacecraft were developed and the Monte Carlo program was compiled and applied to calculate the doses of astronaut's organs with the transport protons of the spectra of super-large SPEs in 1956 and 1972, normalized by the proton fluence for energy greater than 30 MeV. Results The Monte Carlo program was developed successfully and the organ dose under different shielding thickness were also calculated with the program in the normalized spectra of SPEs in 1956 and 1972 without the effects of geomagnetic field. They were similar with prior studies. Conclusion The results are reliable by the comparison with other calculations of prior researchers. Exposure to super-large SPE without the shielding of geomagnetic field would result in a very large organ absorbed dose and may be very danger for manned spaceflight.

AIM:To optimize formulation of Xiao'er Magan Orally Disintegrating Tablet by central composite design-response surface methodology. METHODS:By two factors and five levels central composite design, independent variables were the proportion of optimized microcrystalline cellulose 50 and mannitol and the pressure, while disintegrating time and tensile strength were dependent variables. Binary linear and quadratic models were used to estimate the relationship between the dependent and the indepedent variables, and to delineate response surface method and overlay contour plots in order to select the optimal formulations. RESULTS:The binomial regression equation were TS =0. 096 88X1 + 0. 027 6X1X2(r = 0. 759),DT = 9. 845 4X1 -63. 196X2 + 40. 092 9X22 (r = 0. 838) which indicated the quantitative relationship between the factors and the evaluation indexes was characterized. The optimal formulation were the ratio of microcrystalline cellulose 50 and mannitol in the range of 0. 35 and 0. 6,and the pressure was in the range of 6 and 8 KN. CONCLUSION:The optimized formulation validation is close to the estimated value, indicating that the method has a good predictability and reliability.

9.Experience of WANG Xing-kuan in Treating Chronic Nervous Tinnitus
Chinese Journal of Information on Traditional Chinese Medicine 2018;25(1):102-104
Professor WANG Xing-kuan holds the idea that chronic nervous tinnitus is mainly due to this cause:when the body is lack of zheng-qi (positive qi), the wind-evil finds the cracks and enters healthy body, which may affect Qingqiao, and then the wind-evil will get into Qingqiao and result in tinnitus. The syndrome is further differentiated into the following types: kidney deficiency, insufficiency of brain, deficiency of heart and liver blood, meridian emptiness, deficiency of spleen qi, descending of yang qi; blood stasis and phlegm-fire accumulation. In treatment, Professor WANG is good at treating one or two viscera based on diagnosis and treatment through syndrome differentiation, taking into account of the regulation of other internal organs, namely, method for regulating multiple organs. In addition, Professor WANG advocates the academic view of "treating diseases by regulating the liver", never forgetting the catharsis of liver wood.

Artemisnin is a novel sesquiterpene lactone with an internal peroxide bridge structure, which is extracted from traditional Chinese herb Artemisia annua L. (Qinghao). Recommended by World Health Organization, artemisinin is the first-line drug in the treatment of encephalic and chloroquine-resistant malaria. In the present study, transgenic A. annua plants were developed by overexpressing the key enzymes involved in the biosynthetic pathway of artemisinin. Based on Agrobacterium-mediated transformation methods, transgenic plants of A. annua with overexpression of both HDR and ADS were obtained through hygromycin screening. The genomic PCR analysis confirmed six transgenic lines in which both HDR and ADS were integrated into genome. The gene expression analysis given by real-time quantitative PCR showed that all the transgenic lines had higher expression levels of HDR and ADS than the non-transgenic control (except ah3 in which the expression level of ADS showed no significant difference compared with control); and the HPLC analysis of artemisinin demonstrated that transgenic A. annua plants produced artemisinin at significantly higher level than non-transgenic plants. Especially, the highest content of artemisinin was found in transgenic line ah70, in which the artemisinin content was 3.48 times compared with that in non-transgenic lines. In summary, overexpression of HDR and ADS facilitated artemisinin biosynthesis and this method could be applied to develop transgenic plants of A. annua with higher yield of artemisinin.
