Objective To observe the effect of early intervention on the oligodendrocyte-myelin glycoprotein(OMgp) mRNA expression of brain injury neonatal rats caused by intrauterine infection. Methods 1.Twenty-eight Wistar pregnant rats were randomly divided into 2 groups:lipopolysaccharide(LPS)-treated group and saline control group.Pregnant rats were consecutively injected with LPS (450 ?g?kg-1) or saline on the 18th gestation age. After birth, the placentas were taken out and made HE staining to observe intrauterine infection.2.Thirty neonatal rats in the saline control group and 55 rats in the LPS-treated group were randomly selected which were divided into intervention group (n=25) and no-intervention group (n=25).The second post-natal day (P2) rats in intervention group were treated by early touch and enriched environment. The neonatal rats in the no-intervention group and saline control group were fed in a routine way.Five cases of P1 rats were selected respectively from the LPS-treated group and saline control group, and brain tissue pathological section was made to observe the condition of brain injury.3.Five cases of P1,P3,P7,P28 and P42 rats were selected from the saline control group, intervention group and no-intervention group to detect the OMgp mRNA expression levels by using the real time polymerase chain reaction me-thod.Results 1.There were a great number of neurophilic granulocytes in the placentas in the LPS-treated group.2.Brain tissue pathological of P1 in the saline control group had complete substantia alba structure, ordered disposition and lightly stained clear chromatospherite. While in the LPS-treated group, there existed brain tissue looseness, colloid cell aggregation and oligodendrocyte cytoreduction in the position of substantia alba, callositas and capsula interna.Intraventricular hemorrhage, substantia alba blood vessel dilatation and blood capillary angiorrhexis and hemorrhage could also be found.3.There was a higher increase in OMgp mRNA expressions of brain tissue in the LPS-treated group at P1,P3,P7,P28,P42 than those in the saline control group (Pa

This paper reported a new method of Armillaria mellea isolation-Gastrodia elata tissue isolating. Compared with normal isolating method-rhizomorph isolating method, it showed that the success rate of new method (78% ) was higher than the rhizomorph isolating method (16% ) , besides this, the new method was easier, and growth characteristic of obtained strain was superior to that obtained from rhizomorph isolating method.

International Eye Science 2015;(4):666-668
AIM: To observe the effects of scleral buckling surgery for retinal detachment under microscope and under indirect ophthalmoscope.
METHODS: Forty - six patients ( 46 eyes ) with rhegmatogenous retinal detachment were retrospectively analyzed. Twenty-six patients received surgeries under microscope was retrospectively analyzed and compared to that of 20 patients who received surgeries under indirect ophthalmoscope by the same operator.
RESULTS: No statistical difference was found in patients' operation method choice, including condensation reaction reattachment situation and the retina reset operation at a time ( P> 0. 05 ). The best corrected visual acuity of microscopic group after 1mo of operation was better than before operation, and the improving rate of vision after operation was higher than that of the traditional group (P<0. 05).
CONCLUSION:The curative effect of external approach microsurgery has the similar efficacy with the conventional external approach surgery, and gets better visual acuity.

OBJECTIVETo explore the feasibility of inducing human umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells (HuMSCs) to differentiate into Leydig cells through conditioned medium derived from Leydig cells.
METHODSHuMSCs and Leydig cells were obtained by tissue blocks culture attachment and enzymatic digestion respectively. HuMSCs were induced by conditioned medium of Leydig cells as an experiment group while those before induction were cultured as a control group. The expressions of LHR, 3β-HSD and StAR in the induced HuMSCs were determined by RT-PCR after 3, 7 and 10 days of culture; those of CYP11A1, CYP17A1 and 3β-HSD measured by immunofluorescence staining after 2 weeks; and that of 3β-HSD detected by Western blot after 4 weeks.
RESULTSThe experimental group showed positively expressed LHR, 3β-HSD and StAR at 3, 7 and 10 days, CYP11A1, CYP17A1 and 3β-HSD at 2 weeks, and 3β-HSD at 4 weeks, while the control group revealed negative expressions at all the time points.
CONCLUSIONInduced with conditioned culture medium derived from Leydig cells, HuMSCs are likely to differentiate into steroidogenic cells and eventually into Leydig cells.

OBJECTIVETo compare the effect of reinforcing Shen method (RSM) and activating blood method (ABM) in treating osteoarthritis (OA) at the molecular level.
METHODSThe physical and chemical characteristics of components from respective recipes of RSM and ABM, and network features of component-target interaction network were analyzed by computer simulation methods including chemical space, molecular docking, and biological network, etc.
RESULTSThe chemical components of RSM and ABM were scarcely scattered with larger overlapping. Among established networks, the distribution of network features was partially similar in RSM and ABM. The average target number correlated with each component was 1.86 in RSM and 2.11 in ABM respectively. Each average target number was respectively correlated with 4.46 compounds and 3.93 compounds, reflecting multi-component and multi-target actions.
CONCLUSIONComputer simulation could intuitively trace out similarities and differences of two different methods and their interaction with targets, which revealed that the compatibility of RSM and ABM could have broader protein targets and potential synergism at the molecular level.

PARP [poly(ADP-ribose)polymerase] represents a novel potential target in cancer therapy. It is involved in a DNA repair process by catalyzing the transfer of ADP-ribose units from NAD to a number of its substrate proteins. In this work, a series of novel azaindole derivatives was designed and synthesized. Moreover, 16 target molecules were screened and 8 compounds displayed inhibitory activity against PARP-1. It has been demonstrated that these azaindoles bearing cycloamine substituents at 2-position were active to both PARP-1 and PARP-2.
