1.Behavioral comparation on withdrawal syndromes in morphine dependent rats
Chinese Journal of Behavioral Medicine and Brain Science 2001;10(1):11-12
Objective To investigate the the effect and interaction of morphine dependence model and naloxone doses on withdrawal intensity. Methods To observe the withdrawal signs and weight loss in two kinds of morphine dependent rats after the precipitating by naloxone of different doses an devaluate the withdrawal intensity. Results Morphine dependence were successfully induced in two ways. There was no significant difference of withdrawal intensity in five-day model(total morphine dose 380mg.kg-1) after precipitating by naloxone of 2mg.kg-1 and 4mg.kg-1(P>0.05). Withdrawal intensity of twelve-day model(total morphine dose 1365mg.kg-1)increased significantly with the increase of naloxone dose(P<0.01),but it was more intensive significantly than five-day model only after 4mg.kg-1 dose of naloxone. Conclusion Appropriate method should be used to induce morphine dependence and these experimental factors should be combined in assessment of withdrawal intensity.
2.Nrf2: a new target for nonalcoholic fatty liver disease
Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica 2022;57(11):3268-3275
The liver is an important organ of the body, which has many functions, such as metabolism and detoxification. Due to the rapid change of lifestyle and the improvement of public health, the incidence rate of non-communicable diseases has increased significantly, which fundamentally changed the disease characteristics in most parts of the world. At present, the global prevalence of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is about 25%. Moreover, about 59.10% of NAFLD patients progress to non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) within 5 years, and about 41% of NASH patients progress to fibrosis. NAFLD has become one of the most important liver diseases in the world and may become the main cause of end-stage liver disease in the next few decades. In addition, NAFLD and related cirrhosis will bring huge economic burden to patients, health care system and society. Since there are currently no medications available that have been approved by Food and Drug Administration (FDA), NAFLD is still treated mainly through lifestyle changes such as exercise and diet. Oxidative stress and inflammation are the most important pathological processes in the occurrence and development of liver diseases. Nuclear factor erythroid-2-related factor 2 (Nrf2) is a key regulator of the body's antioxidant stress system, with anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and other functions. Many studies have shown that Nrf2 pathway significantly affects the progression of liver diseases. In this review, we aimed to summarize the regulatory role of the Kelch-like ECH-associating protein 1 (Keap1)-Nrf2-antioxidant response element (ARE) signaling pathway in the pathogenesis of NAFLD, and to reveal the potential of Nrf2 as a therapeutic target for NAFLD.
3.Bacteriological characteristic of urinary infection in SCI patients and clinical countermeasure
Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2000;6(1):6-8
To investigate constituent ratio and drug resistant status of pathogenic bacterium in SCI patients with urinary infection. The germ cultures of midstream urine samples and identifications to 456 stains pathogenic bacterium were conducted, susceptibility to antibiotics were tested. The results showed that G- baccili occupied absolute predominance among pathogenic bacterium. It is very important to select antibiotics rational for urinary infections of SCI patients according to the results of susceptibility tests.

A comparative study on the glycolic acid oxidase (GO) of the domestic Spirulina(Arthrospira) platensis (S_(1)) from alkaline lake in Erdos Plateau and the imported S. (A.) platensis (S_(2)) and S. (A.) maxima (S_(3)) as well is made with colorimetric method. The results show that activity of GO (25℃, pH 8.0) of S_(1), S_(2 )and S_(3) is 70.9 U/gFW, 59.6 U/gFW and 80.9 U/gFW respectively; the GO's optimum temperature of S_(1)、S_(2) and S_(3 )is 30℃; the GO's optimum pH value of S_(1 )is 8.6,while that of S_(2 ) 8.2 and that of S_(3) 8.4; the GO of S_(1 )is stable from 0℃ to 35℃ and from pH 7.6 to pH 10.0, while that of S_(2) from 0℃ to 30℃ and from pH 8.0 to pH 9.0 and that of S_(3) from 0℃ to 35℃ and from pH 8.0 to pH 8.6. Adaptive range of S_(1) GO for temperature and pH is wider, and activity at low and high temperature and under strong acidand alkali conditions is higher than that of the imported species.

Microbiology 1992;0(01):-
Lipopeptides produced by Bacillus subtilis JA antagonized a broad spectrum of fungal pathogens. Crude lipopeptides were extracted with methanol from the precipitate which was obtained by adding 6 mol/L HCl to the cell-free culture broth. The crude extract was run on Diamonsil C_(18)column(5?m,250 mm?4.6 mm) in reverse phase HPLC system to purify the lipopeptides.Inhibitory ability and IC_(50)values of lipopeptides towards various microorganisms were determined by agar diffusion method. The results showed lipopeptides exhibited strong inhibitory activity against some important plant pathogenic fungi, including R.solani and F.oxysporum.The ability of B.subtilis JA to antagonize against the growth of the post-harvest pathogen -B,cinerea was tested in vitro.Spore germination of B.cinerea was strongly inhibited in the presence of JA cell suspension.Furthermore,B.subtilis JA can produce antifungal volatiles which strongly inhibited the spore germination and mycelial growth of B.cinerea.As a biocontrol agent, the synergic effect of lipopeptides and volatiles may play a major role in controlling the pathogens by B.subtilis JA.

Background and purpose:With the recognition of prognostic factors and application of surgical- pathological staging, the treatment strategy of endometrial cancer has greatly changed. In this study,we investigated the treatment strategy, survival rate and prognostic factors of endometrial cancer. Methods:Five hundred and fifty-nine patients of endometrial cancer underwent primary surgical treatment from January 1996 to December 2006 in Cancer Hospital,Fudan University. The clinicopathologic parameters and prognosis were analyzed retrospectively. Results: Patients were followed up with the median period 36 months,25 cases experienced local relapse,24 cases were found to have distant metastases. The 3-year overall survival(OS)was 88.7%,3-year and 5-year disease free survival(DFS) was 82.7% and 80.9%.The 3-year overall survival(OS)were 95.5% in stageⅠ,95.3% in stageⅡ,75.9% in stageⅢand 32.4% in stageⅣrespectively(P

Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2004;0(09):-
Objective To evaluate the clinical effect of the enteral nutrient(Pediasure) on making improvements in nutritional status of children with anorexia. Methods Thirty children were treated with pediasure for 2 months, twice a day, and height(Ht),weight(Wt),AG,TSF,SSF,ASF,RBC,Hb were measured before and after treatment and their appetites, alimentary canal reactions were recorded. Results Compared with the effects after 2 months, the average Ht,Wt,AG,SF all increased, and there was significant difference between pretreatment and after treatment(P0.05). All of the 30 children had no adverse reactions during treatment.Twenty-two children (73.33%) had better appetites and increased the amount of eating after treatment. Conclusion The study suggests that pediasure may be safely used in the treatment of children′s anorexia and effectively improve patients′ nutrition without adverse reactions.
