Abstract: Objective To investigate the prevalence and pathogenic characteristics of Yersinia enterocolitica infection in children with diarrhea under 5 years of age in western Yunnan, and to provide a basis for the prevention and treatment of infectious diarrhea in children. Methods Feces were collected from under five-year-old children with diarrhea in the First Affiliated Hospital of Dali University from 2020 to 2021. Clinical information of the cases was also collected. Yersinia enterocolitica was isolated from the samples after cold enrichment on selective culture plates, and the pathogenic characteristics of Yersinia enterocolitica were analyzed by biological type and serotype and virulence gene detection. Results A total of 397 feces were collected. Seven strains of Yersinia enterocolitica were isolated in three samples, and the prevalence of Yersinia enterocolitica infection was 0.76% (3/397). Among the three positive samples, two Yersinia frederiksenii or Yersinia intermedia were isolated in specimen No. 212 , and five Yersinia enterocolitica were detected in specimens No. 24 and 226. Two Yersinia enterocolitica isolated from one sample were biological type 1A, and the virulence gene test results were ail-/ystA-/ ystB+ /yadA-/virF-, which were non-pathogenic Yersinia enterocolitica. Three Yersinia enterocolitica isolated from the other sample were biological type 3, serotype O∶3 (rfbc+), and virulence gene detection results were ail+/ystA+/ystB-/yadA+ /virF+, which were pathogenic Yersinia enterocolitica. While pathogenic Yersinia enterocolitica was detected from feces of children with diarrhea at 11 months of age with a infection rate of 0.50%(2/397). Conclusion Sporadic infection of pathogenic Yersinia enterocolitica was found in under five-year-old children in western Yunnan Province. It is necessary to strengthen the monitoring and research of Yersinia enterocolitica.

OBJECTIVETo observe the protective effects of histone deacetylase inhibitor on stress-induced myocardial injury.
METHODSHealthy male Wistar rats were randomly divided into 3 groups( n = 6), and the stress-induced myocardial injury model was established with chronic restraint stress method. The protective effects of histone deacetylase inhibitor on stress-induced myocardial injury were observed with Trichostatin A (TSA) intervention. Histone acetylation levels in myocardium of rats were detected by Western blot method, spectrophotometry method was used to dynamically determine the activity of rat serum lactate dehydrogenase (LDH), serum creatine kinase isoenzyme-MB (CK-MB) and Caspase 3, and nagar Olsen staining were used to observe the early myocardial damage.
RESULTSRestraint stress could significantly reduce the level of histone acetylation of myocardium in rats, and TSA intervention could inhibit the stress-induced reduction of myocardial levels of histone acetylation. Restraint stress could cause the significant increase of serum LDH activity ( P < 0.05), serum CK-MB activity ( P < 0.05), and the Caspase 3 activity of myocardial tissue (P < 0.05), and early myocardial damage also occurred during restraint stress. ISA intervention could significantly reduce the serum LDH activity (P < 0.05), the serum CK-MB activity (P < 0.05), the activity of myocardial tissue caspase 3 induced by restraint stress (P < 0.05), and the stress-induced myocardial injury was also attenuated by TSA intervention.
CONCLUSIONThe histone deacetylase inhibitor TSA can protect stress-induced myocardial injury.

OBJECTIVETo research the constituents in needles of Pinus sylvestris.
METHODRepeated column chromatography and preparation HPLC are used for compound isolation, and their structures were elucidated on the basis of spectral data analysis.
RESULTSix compounds, pinifolic acid (1), 15-oxo-8 (17) -labden-18-oic acid (2) , 15-acetoxy-labd-8 ( 17)-en-18-oic acid (3), dehydroabietic acid (4), 7alpha-hydroxydehydroabietic acid (5), 7beta-hydroxydehydroabietic acid (6) were isolated from the needles of P. sylvestris.
CONCLUSIONCompound 3-6 were isolated from the needles of P. sylvestris for the first time, and compound 3 is a new natural product. The petroleum ether and EtOAc extracts showed significant cytotoxic effects to Hela and A549. Compounds 2, 4-6 revealed a positive distinction compared to the control group.

National Journal of Andrology 2006;12(10):933-935
Ca2+ is an important positive ion in the living body. Recently, there have been quite a few reports about the function of Ca2+ in sperm. Calcium is considered as a regulator of sperm motility, a participant in sperm capacitation, and an essential second messenger for acrosome reaction. This paper reviews the relationship of Ca2+ with sperm function.

Objective To evaluate the effect of hyperhomocysteinemia on ischemic diease in rats. Methods Thirty-two SD rats were randomized into two groups, control group(n=16,administered with tap water) and hyperhomocysteinemia group(HH group,n=16,administered with water containing L-methionine at 1 g/kg/d).At the 14thday of dietary modification, the left femoral artery and vein were excised, and the interventions continued for another 14 days.At the 15th day after operation, serum biochemical parameters as well as NOx and cGMP in ischemic tissues were tested, capillary vessel density of both hindlimbs were measured by histological analysis, and angiogenesis of ischemic hindlimb was observed by angiography. Results At the 15th day after operation, the level of high-density lipoprotein-cholesterol(HDL-C),blood urea nitrogen, uric acid and ratio of blood urea nitrogen to serum creatinine were significantly higher in HH group than those in control group, while the level of serum folic acid,VitB12,HDL-C and endogenous creatinine clearance rate were significantly lower in HH group than those in control group(P

Objective To explore the influence of Yoga on the perimenopausal disturbance of middleaged women so as to provide reference for carrying out health promotion programs in community. Methods Totals of 80 middle-aged women of the community in the Lusong of Zhuzhou were divided into Yoga group (n =40) and control group (n =40).The Yoga group received the exercise of Yoga at least sixteen weeks, while the control group kept their life style. And they were investigated with the perimenopausal disturbance symptoms, and physiological indexes such as blood pressure, waist line, body weight, body mass index, muscle tone, balance function were measured after 16 weeks of Yoga exercise. Results After sixteen weeks, except genital system, there were significant differences in total perimenopausal disturbance symptoms score [(49.00 ± 9.290) vs (70.50 ± 17.304) ;t =-4.896,P =0.014] and sympathetic autonomic nerve system and orthopedic system and urinary system and psycholopy spiritual symptom between Yoga group and control group (t =-2.706,-2.013,-2.535,-7.610,respectively; P < 0.05).And the differences of physiologic indexes such as blood pressure, waistline, body weight, body massindex, muscle tone, balance function between Yoga group and control group were statistically significant (P < 0.05).Conclusions Yoga exercise can improve the status of perimenopausal disturbance symptoms of perimenopausal women, and promote their quality of life.
