·Uveitis is an inflammation of any or all parts of the uveal tract including the iris, ciliary body and the choroid. Despite current advances in diagnosis and management, visual loss occurs in 35%-45% of patients with uveitis. The etiopathogenesis of uveitis remains unknown; it may be associated with environmental and immunogenetic factors. Many studies have demonstrated polymorphisms in major histocompatibility complex (MHC) genes may determine involvement in uveitis. Recently polymor-phisms in non-MHC genes, including cytokine and che-mokine genes, have been reported to play important roles in the pathogenesis of uveitis. This article reviewed the advances in the studies on cytokine and chemokine gene polymorphisms associated with uveitis.

Objective To investigate whether functional Wnt-?-catenin signaling is present in activated hepatic stellate cells (HSC),and the effect of blocking this signaling on activation of HSC. Objective To explore the clinical and pathologic features of Langerhans cell histiocytosis(LCH).Method Thirty-eight cases of LCH from both in hospital and outpatient department in dermatology and pediatry department from Jan.1991 to Jun.2006 were analyzed about the features of clinic,pathology and immunohistochemistry.Results The mean age of onset was 2.18 years old.The male /female ratio was 1.71.Skin lesions occurred in 78.9% of the patients.Among them,68.5% were as the first manifestation.The eruptions mainly distributed on trunk,90% of them presented as hemorrhagic maculopapules,nevertheless,3.3% of the eruptions showed as crust with hilar depression,which was similar to pityriasis lichenoides etvarioliformis acuta.Fever,hepatomegalia and splenomegia occurred in patients at a rate of 60.5%,68.4%,55.3% respectively.Thirty-one point six percent of the patients had got lymphadenectasis,the neck and inguinal lymph nodes were the common site to be affected.Ossature involvement occurred in 31.6% of the patients,which 8.3% got multiple injuries,howe-ver,91.7% got a solitary bone involved.Skull was the main site to be injured,else were lumbar,humerus,hipbone,an so on.Respiratory tract,auditory canal,mucosa were also the sites involved in this disease,but the incidence rate was lower than 10%,respectively.The laboratory data showed that 81.3% of the patients were anaemia,60.7% with abnormal subgroup of T-cell,and 32.1% positive for EBV-IgG.The skin histopathology data of 26/30 cases revealed that lichenoid infiltrates of Langerhans cells confined to the upper dermis.Cytologic features were cells with abundant eosinophilic cytoplasms,and longitudinally grooved or reniform nuclei.Lymphocytes and a few eosinophils also could be seen.Four cases of thirty showed that the proliferative Langerhans cells were with pale cytoplasms,besides,there were numerous eosinophils,and sometimes a few multinucleate cells were scattered.The immunity test of 20 cases of thirty displayed that CD1a(+)S100(+)KP-1(-).Biopsy of lymphaden and tumor of the skull of the rest 8 patients were all diagnosed as eosinophilic granuloma through both hematoxylin and eosin-stained section and immune marks.Conclusions Multiple systems can be involved in LCH.Hemorrhagic maculopapules,fever and splenohepatomegalia are common presentations in this disease.The morphous of nucles of histiocytes is particular,and to diagnose definitely,both CD1a(+) and S-100(+) are needed.

As one of the most important non-nutritional factors associated with children's growth and development, feeding problems in children are getting more and more attention from medical professionals and guardians. The evaluation of feeding problems has developed from the single-factor and descriptive research in the past to the multi-factor and analytical research at present, and thus a good quantitative analysis system is increasingly important for researchers. However, the development of localized quantitative analysis tools remains a weak link in this field. Therefore, it is a research hotspot to develop child feeding assessment scales and questionnaires with high reliability, validity, and operability in combination with China's cultural background and eating habits and provide effective assessment tools for feeding problems in Chinese children. Through classification based on research mode and screening, this article reviews the research findings in the field of child feeding, so as to provide a basis for future research.

To establish a molecular identification method for Bletillae Rhizoma, this paper extracted genome DNA from Bletillae Rhizoma and its adulterants. The sequences of rDNA ITS2 were sequenced after amplifying. Then multiple alignments of ITS2 were constructed phylogenetic tree with Neighbor Joining by MEGA 5. 1 and found out SNPs loci. The result showed that rDNA ITS2 region could identify Bletillae Rhizoma and its adulterants. There existed the SNPs loci, which could identify Bletilla striata and B. ochracea. Furthermore, we designed specific primers against the SNPs loci of B. striata and B. ochracea, then screened primers and optimized the PCR amplification conditions. Finally, the DNA of B. striata and B. ochracea were specifically amplified by BJ59-412F, BJ59-412R and HHBJ-225R. The length of amplification products were respectively about 350 bp and 520 bp that were effectively identified of B. striata and B. ochracea. While, the adulterants of Bletillae Rhizoma were no-reaction occurring. To sum up, the amplification conditions of the primers can identify B. striata, B. ochracea and their adulterants successfully at the same time. This method was easy, time-saving, and reliable, which can be used as a rapid method for molecular identification of Bletillae Rhizoma.

By analyzing the epidemiological and clinical features of adenovirus in children with acute respiratory tract infection (ARTI), we provide a theoretical basis for early clinical diagnosis and treatment. Nasopharyngeal secretions were collected from 3480 children with ARTI, who were hospitalized at the No. 2 Hospital of Changzhou from January 2011 to December 2012. Adenovirus were detected using direct immunofluorescence assays. A total of 80 samples were positive for adenovirus (2.30%). The rate of adenovirus infection during 2011 was significantly higher than that in 2012, and the infection rate was higher in summer and autumn than in winter and spring. The infection rate was 1.14% among children aged < 1-year-old and the rates were higher among children in other age ranges. Adenovirus was found to be an important ARTI pathogen in children in Changzhou, mainly affecting children older than 1 year. ADV infections have various clinical presentations, but affected children tend to be severely ill with poor outcomes.

Objective To explore genes expression of adiponectin receptors during differentiation of SW872 preadipocytes. Met-(hods) SW872 preadipocytes were cultured in vitro and induced to differentiate by 0.6 mmol/L oleic acid. During the progress of diffe-(rentiation), the morphological changes of SW872 cells were observed and the differentiation rate was assayed by oil-red O staining. Adiponectin receptors mRNA was measured by reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction during differentiation of SW872 preadipocytes. Results 1.After stimulated by 0.6 mmol/L oleic acid for 72 hours, almost all SW872 cells were differentiated,and there were lots of fat droplets in the cells.2.There were adiponectin receptors genes expressions in SW872 preadipocytes.After 72 hours,and the levels of adiponectin receptor(AdipoR) 1 mRNA and AdipoR 2 mRNA were markedly increased up to 2.54 and 4.09 times,respectively. Conclusion There are AdipoR1 and AdipoR2 genes expressions in fat cells and the expressions are differentiation-dependent.

Objective To study the effect of oleic acid on the differentiation of SW872 preadipocytes.Methods SW872 prea-(dipocytes) were cultured and induced to differentiate by 0.6 mmol/L oleic acid in vitro.After 24 h,48 h and 72 h of differentiation,the morphological changes of SW872 preadipocytes were observed and the differentiation rate was assayed by oil-red O staining.In addition,triglyceride(TG) mass was detected by chemical colorimetry methods.During the differentiation of SW872 preadipocytes,transcription factors including peroxisome proliferator activated receptor-?_2(PPAR-?_2) and CAAT/enhancer binding protein-?(C/EBP-?)(mRNA) were also measured by reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR).Results 1.SW872 preadipocytes were fibroblastic and had no obvious fat droplet in cytoplasm.However,when stimulated for 72 hby 0.6 mmol/L oleic acid,SW872 preadipocytes became more bigger and rounder and differentiated into mature adipocytes with lots of fat droplets in the cells.2.Compared with that of predifferentiation,the concentration of TG mass increased by 14 folds after 72-hour differentiation(P
