Objective:To analysis the correlation of Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway,OPN and MMP-13 in rabbit model with different degree of osteoarthritis (OA).Methods:Forty New Zealand white rabbits were randomly divided into four groups of 10 each,then we constructed the rabbit model with different degree of osteoarthritis (OA) by different concentrations of papain.The mRNA and protein levels of β-catenin,OPN,MMP-13,type Ⅱ collagen and proteoglycan were detected by Real-Time PCR and ELISA,respectively.Results:We have successfully established OA rabbit model by different concentrations of papain,and these OA rabbits model could be divided into mild,moderate and severe three level by Mankin scoring system,chondrocytes.Compared with the normal control group,the protein levels of β-catenin,OPN,and MMP-13 in the osteoarthritis were significantly increased,while the protein levels of type Ⅱ collagen and proteoglycan were significantly decreased (P＜0.05).With the increasing severity of OA,the results were consistent (P＜0.05).Conclusions:These results indicated that Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway might regulate the expression of OPN,thereby affecting the expression of MMP-13,and ultimately have an impact on the occurrence ofosteoarthritis.

Myopia is the most important cause of visual impairment in adolescents. However, its etiology is complex. In recent years, a large number of epidemiological studies have been done on risk factors of myopia. Most of these studies is cross- sectional study, not longitudinal cohort study. Overall, the incidence of myopia is the result of the interaction between genetic susceptibility and environmental exposure. This review is about the risk factors for myopia.

Objective To evaluate the therapeutic effects afer radiofrequency ablation(RFA) in 24 patients with pulmonary neoplasms through quantitative iodine-based and water-based material decomposition images with spectral computed tomography(CT) imaging.Methods 30 patients(19 male,11 female;age range,52-85 years;mean age,69 years;26 peripheral lung cancer,4 central lung cancer) underwent lung radiofrequency ablation on a GE Discovery CT750HD scanner from March 2012 to March 2013.We compared the volume,CT value,water-based value and iodine-based value of lung tumor before and after the RFA using spectral imaging mode.Results 22 of 30 tumors was bigger after the RFA,8 had no change.Through water-based material decomposition images,the water content in the tumors were increased from(1 014.76 ±6.83) mg/ml to (1 022.71 ± 10.16)mg/ml after RFA,and the difference was significant (t =-2.329,P ＜ 0.05).The iodine-based value in parenchyma of the tumor was 2.49 ± 0.74 mg/mL before the RFA.The tumor was most or completly necrosis after the RFA,the value of iodine in the area of necrosis was (0.45 ± 0.29) mg/mL,which was obviously reduced than before (t =11.072,P =0.000).Conclusion Through compared with the volume,CT value,water-based value and iodine-based value of the parenchyma of the tumors before and after the RFA with spectral computed tomography(CT) imaging,we can know the morphology and metabolism of the tumors to investigate the short term results.

AIM: To analyze the results of phacovitrectomy with internal limiting membrane(ILM) peeling to treat foveoschisis in ultra-high myopia.METHODS: Totally 32 eyes of 32 ultra-high myopia patients with foveoschisis were selected retrospectively.The preoperative refractive errors ranged from-12.00D to-20.00D with the mean of-15.78±2.16D.The best corrected visiual acuity(BCVA) were converted to LogMAR acuity, and the average BCVA was 4.1±0.4.Conventional phacovitrectomy with ILM peeling by ICG dying were performed.Gas tamponade were performed to end the operation.The BCVA and the foveoschisis cavity were observed by 1-9mo after the surgery, with the mean of 4.5mo.RESULTS: The foveoschisis cavity of 30 eyes were healed with BCVA increased and visual distortion alleviated distinctly (94%)(t=-7.91, P<0.05).CONCLUSION: Phacovitrectomy with ILM peeling is useful in treating foveoschisis in ultra-high myopia with visual function preserving.

Minichromosome maintenance protein 7 (MCM7) is an important regulator of DNA replication,and plays an important role in replication initiation and elongation steps.Recent studies show that MCM7 is closely related with the formation and growth of digestive tumors.The detection of MCM7 protein can provide new ideas for the early diagnosis,treatment and prognosis of the digestive tumors.

Aim To study the changes of the biological behavior of dermal fibroblasts in Ⅲ skin burns wound in rats using chitosan.Methods Wistar rats were randomly divided into 5 groups as follows:1% chitosan(W/V)group,2% chitosan(W/V)group,4% chitosan(W/V)group,bFGF(basic fibroblast growth factor) group and the control group.Rats were made for Ⅲ skin burns.The wound healing time was recorded,and the wound healing rate was calculated.Then the cell cycle and apoptotic dermal fibroblasts were determined and the amount of Hydroxyproline(HOP) in the skin tissue was analyzed.Results The wound healing rate of 4% chitosan(W/V) group was higher and the wound healing time of 4% chitosan(W/V) group was shorter than that of the control group.On the 7th,14th day post-injury,the content of protein of 4% chitosan(W/V) group was higher than that of the control group.The content of HOP of 2% and 4% chitosan(W/V) group was highest on the 7th day post-injury. Compared with that in control group,the percentage of cells of S stage in 4% chitosan(W/V) group was aboundant,and was reduced in apoptotic dermal fibroblasts.Conclusion The changes of cellular biological behaviors might be one of the mechanisms of that Chitosan could promote the wound healing of Ⅲ skin burns in rats significantly.
