1.A retrospective study of posterior lumbar disc herniation
Chongqing Medicine 2017;46(15):2083-2084
Objective To study the effect of different therapies for posterior lumbar disc herniation. Methods A total of 8 000 patients with lumbar disc posterior surgery were enrolled in this research at our hospital. The technical points of the patients in different times were analysed. The results of the operation were observed. Results From January 1980 to December 1990,patients underwent laminectomy. From January 1991 to December 2000,patients were treated with laminectomy and semi-lamina.From January 2001 to December 2016,the open window accounted for 86.0%,expanding the window or semi-lamina accounted for 11.0%,and the whole laminar plate only accounted for 3.0%.After 2000,the accuracy of the diagnosis was 98.0%,the excellent rate of operation was 99.8%,the average operation time was(80±15)min,and the blood loss was(100±20)mL.Among them, the rate of I/A healing was 99.8%,dural tear rate was 4.0%,nerve root injury rate was 0.5%,and cerebrospinal fluid leakage rate was 0.9%.The incidence of complications in the cases after 2000 was significantly lower. Conclusion By summarizing the operation technique of posterior lumbar disc herniation, the operation error can be avoided and the incidence of complications of surgical injury can be reduced.

Testicular germ cell tumor (TGCT) is a most common testicular malignancy with an increasing incidence, and its pathogenesis and mechanisms are not yet clear. The next generation sequencing has become the main tool to uncover the underlying mechanisms of TGCT. The differential gene expressions, gene mutation, predisposing gene-dominated signaling pathways, and changes of the relevant genes in the sex chromosome are largely involved in the occurrence and development of TGCT. Studies on the genomics of TGCT contribute a lot to identifying the pivotal pathogenic genes and paving a theoretical ground for the early screening and targeted therapy of TGCT. This paper summarizes the advances in the studies of the genomics of TGCT so as to reveal thetmechanisms of the disease at the genetic level.

Objective To study the level of immunoglobulin and the prevalence of ANA in patients with Graves' diseases(GD).To explore the correlation between GD and other systemic autoimmune disorders. Methods Data of 145 patients with GD and 45 healthy subjects were collected. All cases were detected on the presence of ANA and the level of immunoglobulin,FT3,FT4,and thyroid specific antibodies. Results The presencerate of ANA and the level of IgG in patients with GD were higher than that in healthy controls [(28.28% vs 4.55%);(70.96?26.14 vs 60.41?11.01) mmol/L](P

Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2004;10(6):369-370
ObjectiveTo observe the efficacy and safety of patient-controlled intravenous analgesia (PCIA) with morphine and fentanyl after cardiac surgery.MethodsSeventy patients operated with cardiac surgery were randomly divided into morphine group (group M) and fentanyl group (group F). The beginning efficacy time of analgesia, efficacy of analgesia, patient's evaluation, heart rate, respiratory rate, mean arterial pressure, and incidence of nausea and vomiting were assessed.ResultsThere were no significant differences in efficacy and patient's evaluation between two groups. In group G,the beginning efficacy time of analgesia was significantly shorter than those in group M (P<0.05),and the times of nausea and vomiting were significant less than those in group M (P<0.05).ConclusionPCIA with fentanyl and morphine for postoperative pain relief after cardiac surgery is efficient and safe. Compared with morphine, the beginning efficacy time of fentanyl is significant shorter, and times of nausea and vomiting are little.

10.Partial deletions in the AZFc region of the Y chromosome are associated with male infertility.
National Journal of Andrology 2009;15(2):165-169
Microdeletion of the azoospermia factor in the Yq of the Y chromosome is one of the important causes of male infertility. Complete deletion of the AZFc region (b2/b4 deletion) is the most common type of AZF deletion. Recent studies have shown a variety of deletions of the AZFc region, including partial deletions, such as gr/gr deletion, b1/b3 deletion and b2/b3 deletion, which may also be associated with male infertility.
