ObjectiveTo evaluate effects of hyperbaric oxygenation on motor function in children with cerebral palsy. Methods49 infants with cerebral palsy were classified into two groups, hyperbaric oxygenation group(29cases) and control group (20 cases). Two groups were treated with cerebrolysin and received family rehabilitation drill. In additional, the hyperbaric oxygenation group was treated with hyperbaric oxygenation therapy. The children's motor function of two groups was evaluated before and after the treatment.ResultsThe effect in the hyperbaric oxygenation group was better than that in the control group(P<0.01). Conclusions Hyperbaric oxygenation is an effective therapy on infantile cerebral palsy.

Chinese Journal of Perinatal Medicine 2000;0(04):-
Objective To investigate the expression of insulin-like growth factor-Ⅱ( IGF-II ) and its mRNA in human placenta and to evaluate its role in the pathogenesis pregnancy induced hypertension (PIH). Methods The cellular distribution of IGF-Ⅱin normal and PIH placenta was determined by immunohistochemistry. Trophoblasts were digested, separated, and purified from placenta. IGF-ⅡmRNA expression in trophoblasts was detected by RT-PCR. The mean density was determined by image analysis technique. Results (1) IGF-Ⅱwas mostly found in syncytiotrophoblast, cytotrophoblast and amnio-chorion. The strongest immunoreactivity was observed in the syncytiotrophoblast and cytotrophoblast. (2)The mean density of PIH placenta (0.324?0.042) was significantly lower than that of normotensives (0.360?0.072,P

Objective To investigate effects and safety of dexmedetomidine on the prevention of abnormal mental in patients after liver transplantation. Methods 160 patients after liver transplantation were randomly divided into the two groups using the drawing method:midazolam group(n =80),dexmedetomidine group(n =80),compared the two groups of patients with general, mental abnormality and the occurrence of adverse reactions. Results There were no significant differences in the general situation (gender, age, postoperative ventilator time,ICU stay time,oper-ation time, blood FK506 concentration,APACHEII score 24 hours after operation)of the two groups of patients (P >0.05),the spirit of the abnormal rate of the observation group was lower than that of the control group (P =0.009), incidence of hypotension and hypertension in the observation group was higher than that in the control group (P =0.035,0.029).Conclusion Dexmedetomidine can effectively reduce the postoperative mental disorders in patients in the early stage after liver transplantation.

Objective:To investigate the polymorphism of HLA-DQA1 genes in Jing nationality of Central Vietnam. Methods:Applied PCR-SSP tecnique to determine the polymorphism of the HLA-DQA1 alleles of 105 healthy children and youth, unrelated individuals in Central of Vietnam.Results:10 HLA-DQA1 alleles were detected of which DQA1*0104 were the most common allele with frequency of 21.3% and lowest frequency is DQA1*0601.Conclusion:The results indicate that HLA-DQA1 alleles polymorphism of Jing nationality in Central Vietnam is different from the other Chinese. ObjectiveTo seek a convenient method for improving the clinical therapeutic effect on knee osteoarthritis.Method One hundred and eighty-six patients were randomly allocated to three groups, 62 cases each. The observation group received needle-sticking warm needling moxibustion plus articular cavity injection of sodium hyaluronate; control group 1, needle-sticking warm needling moxibustion; control group 2, articular cavity injection of sodium hyaluronate. Needle-sticking warm needling moxibustion was given once daily, five treatments followed by two days of rest, seven days as a course, for a total of five courses. Articular cavity injection of sodium hyaluronate was administered once a week, for a total of five injections. The therapeutic effects were compared after treatment.ResultA large part of the symptoms and signs resolved, and the cure rate, the cure and marked efficacy rate and the efficacy rate were 40.3%, 87.1% and 95.2%, respectively, in the observation group. Part of thesymptoms and signs resolved in control groups 1 and 2. The cure rate, the cure and marked efficacy rate and the efficacy rate were 24.2%,51.6%and 80.6%, respectively, in control groups 1 and 21.0%, 54.8% and 82.3%, respectively, in control groups 2. There were statistically significant differences in the cure rate (P<0.05), the cure and marked efficacy rate (P<0.01) and the efficacy rate (P<0.05) among the three groups. The therapeutic effect was significantly better in the observation group than in control groups 1 and 2.Conclusion Needle-sticking warm needling moxibustion plus articular cavity injection of sodium hyaluronate is clinically a better way to treat knee osteoarthritis.
