Anaerobic ammonium oxidation(ANAMMOX)is a new process of nitrogen conversion that has prospect most currently.The AN- AMMOX process offers great opportunities to remove ammonia from wastewater without the addition of an external carbon source and with con- siderable less aeration costs in comparison with classical methods.ANAMMOX is a biologically mediated process.Three bacteria are identi- fied responsible for the process as new deep-branching planctomycete:Brocadia,Kuenenia and Scalindua.Described it to separate and the method,biochemistry path,the ecosystem physiology characteristic for authenticate and distribute.

ObjectiveTo master the epidemic situation of drinking-water borne endemic fluorosis in Xinzhou,evaluate the effects of water improvement project to reduce fluoride,and to provide a timely scientific basis for monitoring the disease and for establishment of preventive countermeasures.MethodsAccording to the water fluoride concentration and type of the disease,after stratification 25 endemic villages were selected as survey points.Five water samples were collected in water unimproved monitoring villages according to water well locations of east,west,south,north and center.In monitoring villages with improved water,3 tap water and 1 source water samples were collected,respectively.The fluorine content in water samples was determined according to the “Standard Testing Methods for Drinking Water”(GB/T 5750-2006).All children aged 8 to 12 of the survey villages were examined for dental fluorosis by Dean method.Clinical osteofluorosis of all the resident over the age of 16 was examined,8 villages of these counties were selected,10 men and.women were randomly selected in each village,respectively,and they were examined again by X-ray using “Diagnostic Criteria of Endemic Skeletal Fluorosis” (WS/T 192-2007).Children aged 8 to 12 in 13 villages of chosen villages were selected for urine collection,6 unne samples were collected in each age group and a total of 30 samples were collected,and urinary fluoride was determined by F-ion selective electrode method(WS/T 89-2006).ResultsA total of 56 water samples were tested in water-unimproved villages,the average water fluorine was 2.7 mg/L And 52 water samples were tested in waterimproved villages,the average water fluorine was 1.6 mg/L,water fluoride content ＞ 1.5 mg/L accounted for 46.15％ (6/13) in the water-improved village.Incidences of dental fluorosis of children in the water-unimproved villages and water-improved villages were 74.75％ (622/832) and 23.67％ (241/1018),respectively.The difference was statistically significant(x2 =140,P ＜ 0.01).The prevalence rate of skeletal fluorosis was 30.02％(2803/9335) in water-unimproved villages,and 9.44％ (1230/13 022) in water-improved villages.The difference was statistically significant(x2 =1557.75,P ＜ 0.01 ).The mean of urine fluorine in a total sample was 3.31 mg/L,the urinary fluoride concentration of children in water-improved villages was significantly different from that of water-unimproved villages(t =2.27,P ＜ 0.05).ConclusionsBy reducing fluorine and improving drinking water,disease in drinkingwater borne endemic fluorosis areas in Xinzhou has been controlled to a certain degree.However,the disease is still very serious in some endemic areas.Fluoride in drinking water re-increases in some water-improved villages,the disease is also in a rise.So,the work of monitoring and prevention should be strengthened.

Objective: To investigate the correlation of the expression of pokemon with p 14ARF and bcl-2 in non small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) tissues, and their values for determining the clinicopathological characteristics and prognosis of NSCLC. Methods: Immunohistochemical SP staining was used to detect the expressions of pokemon, p 14 ARF, and bcl-2 proteins in 62 NSCLC tumor tissues and 20 adjacent normal tissues. Their relationship with the pathological characteristics of NSCLC was analyzed. The correlation of abnormal expressions of pokemon and p 14 ARF and bcl-2 was analyzed. The effects of the expressions of the three proteins on the long-term prognosis of NSCLC patients were observed based on the follow-up data. Results: In normal tissues there was no pokemon expression but the positive rates of p 14 ARF and bcl-2 expression were 95.0% and 15.0%, respectively. In NSCLC tissues, the positive rate of pokemon, p 14 ARF,and bcl-2 protein were 72.6%, 66.1%, and 53.2%, respectively. The expression of pokemon had negative correlation with expression of p 14 ARF (r = - 0.287, P < 0.05), but had positive correlation with expression of bcl-2 (r = 0.293, P < 0.05). The expression of pokemon and p 14 ARF was associated with TNM staging (P < 0.05). However, the expression of bcl-2 correlated with pathological classification (P < 0.05). In pokemon and bcl-2 positive patients, the five-year survival rates were 10.95% and 13.74%, respectively, which were significantly lower than that in pokemon and bcl-2 negative patients (P < 0.05). In contrast, the five-year survival rate was 21.68% in patients with positive expression of p 14 ARF, which was significantly higher than that in patients with negative expression of p 14 ARF (P < 0.05). Conclusion: Pokemon, p 14 ARF, and bcl-2 are all expressed in NSCLC tissues. There is a negative correlation between the expression of pokemon and p 14 ARF and a positive correlation between the expression of pokemon and bcl-2, which has a certain clinical significance for evaluating the prognosis of NSCLC patients.

Objective To know automobile exhaust pollution and population exposure to automobile exhaust in Taiyuan,and to provide the basis for controlling automobile exhaust pollution.Methods Two different automobile pollution areas(A and B) were selected as the monitoring sites,the continue sampling was carried out for one week from March to April in 2008.The concentration of PM2.5 was determined by mass method,the inorganic elements in PM2.5 were extracted by Soxhlet method, arsenic and mercury were measured by atomic fluorescent spectrophotometer(AFS),the other metal elements were measured by atomic absorption spectrophotometer.The concentration of NO_x was detected by Saltzman method,the concentration of CO was measured by non-dispersive infrared absorption method.Results At crossroad A,daily average concentration of PM2.5 was 1.604 mg/m~3,which was significantly higher than that at crossroad B(0.64 rag/m~3),P

Objective To study the characteristics of mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)derived from chronic myelogenous leukemia(CML)patients' bone marrow and examine their hematopoiesis support in vitro.Methods MSCs from CML were obtained and cultured.Immunophenotype and in vitro differentiation capacities were investigated.Moreover,the Ph chromosome and bcr/abl gene of CML derived MSCs were detected.The expression of cytokines was detected by RT-PCR,and hema- topoiesis support of MSCs in vitro was detected by long-term bone marrow culture and the methylcel- lulose progenitor assay.Results CML derived MSCs showed a typical fibroblast like morphology. They were positive for CD29,CD44 and CD105,while negative for CD14,CD31,CD45,CD34 and HLA-DR.Under suitable conditions,CML derived MSCs could differentiate into osteoblasts and adi- pocytes.Further,CML derived MSCs showed a normal choromosome,and did not express bcr/abl gene.At last,they expressed hematopoiesis cytokines and possessed ability of hematopoiesis support in vitro.Conclusion There are MSCs with multidirectional differentiation potential in CML bone mar- row and they possess the ability of hematopoiesis support.

OBJECTIVETo evaluate the effect of Shexiang Baoxin Pill (SBP) on coronary vasodilation by analysis of coronary angiography (CAG).

METHODSA consecutive cohort of 300 patients who underwent CAG between January 2013 and July 2013 were recruited and randomly assigned to 2 groups before operation. Patients in the SBP group sublingually took SBP, while those in the control group sublingually took placebos. All patients repeatedly underwent CAG 5 min after administration. The vascular diameter was calculated by quantitative angiography analysis method. The diameter of the left anterior descending coronary artery was measured in patients whose coronary arteries had no stenosis. The narrowest vascular diameter was measured in patients whose coronary arteries had stenosis. The heart rate, blood pressure, and the vascular diameter were compared between before and after administration in the two groups.

RESULTSIn the two groups, there was no significant difference in changes of heart rate, systolic pressure, or diastolic pressure between before and after administration (all P > 0.05). There were 64 patients with normal CAG in the two groups, 30 in the control group and 34 in the SBP group. CAG showed there were 236 patients with stenotic coronary artery, 110 in the control group and 126 in the SBP group. The vascular diameter was obviously larger in patients in the SBP group with normal or abnormal CAG after administration (all P < 0.01). It was also obviously larger than that of the control group after administration (P < 0.05, P < 0.01).

CONCLUSIONSBP could dilate both normal coronary artery and lesioned coronary arteries, but did not lead to fastened heart rate and decreased blood pressure.

Objective To find out the consumption situation of iodized salt in Baotou, identify problems and take appropriate intervention measures, and to provide scientific basis for further consolidating the results of control measures, strengthening and improving the sustainable elimination of iodine deficiency disorders. Methods Three batches of each quarter, 54 salt samples were sampled in Donghe wholesale division and Qingkun wholesale division in Baotou city salt company during 2008 - 2010; each place of Damaoqi, Baiyun district, and Qingshan district were divided into five sampling areas according to the direction of east, west, south, north, and central position, one school was selected in each district, 30 students aged 8 to 10 from each school were selected, and home salt samples were taken, and salt iodine was tested by direct titration(GB/T 13025.7-1999). Results Qualified rate of wholesale iodized salt was 100%(378/378) during 2008 - 2010, and mean salt iodine was 30.4 mg/kg;qualified rate of household iodized salt was 99.8%(2417/2421 ), and mean salt iodine was 30.4 mg/kg; iodized salt coverage rate was 99.6% (2421/2430) and consumption rate of qualified iodized salt was 99.4% (2417/2430).Conclusions Qualified rate of iodized salt, coverage rate of qualified iodized salt and consumption rate of qualified iodized salt are 90% or more, which has reached the standard of sustainable elimination of iodine deficiency disorders.
