Scientific research management has become a crucial work in each hospital. The quality of scientific research management directly affects the level of scientific research development.Scientific research secretaries act as the direct participants and grassroots community of scientific research management, whose strengths and weaknesses of development related to the level of scientific research management directly. This study put forward several countermeasures on the barriers of hospital scientific research secretaries development, aiming to promote the development of hospital's scientific research and discipline construction.

Objective To observe the effects of fosinopril(FOS),a new generation angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitor(ACEI),on protein and mRNA expression of transforming growth factor-?_1(TGF-?_1) of rat glomerular mesangial cell(GMC) induced by lipopolysaccharide(LPS);to demonstrate the preventive mechanism against glomerular sclerosis by applying FOS.Methods The cultured GMC in classic way were divided into 3 groups:control group;LPS group;LPS+FOS group.TGF-?_1 concentration in GMC supernatant fluid was detected by ELISA;TGF-?_1 mRNA expression was determined by semiquantitative real-time RT-PCR.Results LPS group was obviously higher than control groups in TGF-?_1 secretion and mRNA expression, while LPS+FOS group decreased distinctively in TGF-?_1 secretion and mRNA expression compared with LPS group. Conclusions FOS has obviously inhibited on TGF-?_1 expression of rat GMC both at protein level and mRNA level, which reveals that it may be an important mechanism by FOS on restraining the development of glomerulosclerosis.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the relationship between the second to the fourth digit ratio (2D:4D) and body mass index (BMI) in infertile men of the Han ethnic group in Ningxia.
METHODSUsing anthropometry, we calculated the mean ratio of 2D:4D and BMI of 197 infertile men and 148 normal healthy male controls, followed by analysis of their relationship.
RESULTSThe BMI was correlated positively with the 2D:4D ratio of the left hand in the infertile men (P < 0.05) and in the patients with a higher 2D:4D ratio of the left hand (P < 0.05), but negatively with the 2D:4D ratio of the righ/left (Dr-1) (left: P < 0.01; Dr-l: P < 0.05). The mean 2D: 4D ratio and BMI were both lower in the normal control than in the infertile men, with statistically significant differences in BMI (P < 0.05) and the 2D:4D ratio of the left hand (P < 0.05).
CONCLUSIONThere is a correlation between the 2D:4D ratio and BMI in infertile men.

Objective To evaluate the clinical effect of breast implant on congenital mammary dysplasia with mild pigeon chest deformity. Methods From January 2003 to July 2009,10 cases of female mammary dysplasia (between 20 to 31 years of age) underwent breast implant surgery. Subpectoral placement and transaxillary incision were selected. The surgeon marked the range of the operation on the skin, made a 3-4 cm incision in the armpit, separated the tissue until the pectoral lateral margin, cut the pecto-ralis fascia and bluntly created a suitable pocket under the pectoralis major for the implant. After the implant was placed in the pocket, the incision was closed. Results Ten cases of breast implant surgery did not pose the complications of local skin necrosis, infection, implant shift, heart and lungs dysfunction after one year follow-up. The appearance of anterior chest wall deformity was markedly improved. Conclusions The application of breast implant surgery in the treatment of congenital mammary dysplasia with mild pigeon chest deformity should be promoted, because of the double surgical effect of easy performing, minimal surgical damage, perfect breast shape and concealed deformity.

The deep fermentation technique of Tricholoma matsutake is systemically studied in this paper firstly. The best culture determined by orthogonal test is 3g/L of cornflour, 1g/L of glucose, 1g/L of bean cake flour, 1mL/L of corn steep liquid, 1g/L of KH 2PO 4. The best fermenting condition is: 25℃, rotating speed 160 r/min, pH5.0,inoculating amount 10%, 120mL culture medium per 500mL flask. Under these conditions, the mycelia reach 12.94g/L after fermenting 12d.

Objective To investigate the clinicopathological significances of LDHA/mutant p53 co-expres-sion in gliomas. Methods According to the 2016 WHO CNS,archived 68 gliomas were collected and analyzed retrospectively. The co-expression of LDHA/mutant p53 was detected by immunohistochemical staining. Results High expression of LDHA alone was always found in high grade gliomas(48.5%). Mutant p53 high expression was usually observed in glioblastomas (26.5%). There was a close relationship between co-expression of LDHA/mutant p53 in glioblastoma(27.9%,P = 0.005),or gliomas with high histological grading(27.9%,P = 0.002). Conclusions Co-expression of LDHA/mutant p53 in tumor cells might be a specific immunohistochemical pheno-type of gliomas, and may help for distinguishing glioblastoma and other high grade gliomas from low grade gliomas.

Objective To investigate the adjustment methods and evaluation for children after cochlear implantation. Methods 6 children after artificial cochlear implantation were debugged by subjective psychological physical test, objective methods such as electricity induced composite action potential (ECAP), electrically evoked stapedius reflex threshold (ESRT) and electrically evoked auditory brainstem response (EABR). Results All the children got satisfied data. Conclusion For the children after cochlear implantation, objective methods such as ECAP, ESRT, EABR combined with subjective psychological physical test all together are helpful to obtain accurate threshold.

The purpose of this study was to isolate and purify polysaccharide from Gynura divaricata and analyze its monosaccharide composition. A water-soluble crude polysaccharide was obtained by hot water extraction, ethanol precipitation and deproteinization after degreasing. The crude polysaccharide then purified with DEAE-Sepharose Fast Flow column chromatography and dialysis. The monosaccharide composition and structure were analyzed by HPLC, UV spectrophotometer and 1H-NMR. The results showed that the purity and molecular weight of GDPS-2 and GDPS-3 were 87.3%, 2.03 x 10(4) Da and 90.9%, 4.29 x 10(4) Da, respectively. The UV spectrophotometer and 1H-NMR data suggested that glycosidic bond of GDPS-2 and GDPS-3 were a type. Both GDPs-2 and GDPs-3 were homogeneous polysaccharides, and GDPs-2 was mainly composed of glucuronic acid and xylose at a molar ratio of 1.1:0.63. GDPs-3 was mainly composed of rhamnose, glucuronic acid, galactose, xylose and galacturonic acid at a molar ratio of 0.32:6.0:0.21:1.75:4.3.
