Objective:To study vascular endothelial growth factor receptor (VEGFR) in bladder carcinoma and its relationship with clinical pathology.Methods:VEGFR of bladder carcinoma samples (50 cases) and normal bladder tissues (20 cases) was detected with immunohistochemistry which was streptomyces-antibiotin-peroxidase-linkage-Technique (Technique SP).Results:VEGFR was positive in most of bladder carcinoma cases.Percentage was 74%.Expression level had positive relationship with pathologicl level and tissue grade.Conclusion:VEGFR was positive in bladder carcinoma.It indicated that VEGFR had important function in angiogenesis of bladder carcinoma. The information entropy, H = - Pk log Pk, has been proved in this paper to be always positive and invariant for a linear coordinate transformation, so that it can be used as a measuring index. On the contrary, the integral term of the information entropy, H(x) = -f(x) log f(x) dx, is not always positive and invariant for a linear coordinate transformation. Therefore, H(x) can not be used as a measuring index. An example of a probability density function for response of nerve to electric current with different intensities is given to confirm above conclusions.

Adaptive behavior is attracting more and more attention and have become necessary basis of diagnosis and intervention of mental retardation. The definition of adaptive behavior have not unified yet, AAMR(2002) suggests that adaptive behavior is the skill of concept, society and use, the constraint of adaptive behavior will influence individual's daily life, and then life adaption. Approachs of mental retardation assessment include interviews, behavioral observations, functional assessment, quality of life assessment and sociometric techniques. No matter which approach is used in assessment, the goal is to improve lives of individuals with mental retardation, the limits of each approach should be considered, and, the assessment of individuals with mental retardation must contain all aspects.

Objective To investigate surgical opportunity and suitable treatment approach in nodular Hashimoto's disease.Methods An analysis was performed in 388 pathologically confirmed cases with nodular Hashimoto's disease and other thyroid-related diseases.All the cases were involved with surgical treatment due to thyroid nodules from June,1995 to Dec,2005.Results Among the above-mentioned cases,64 cases (16.5%) were Hashimoto's disease with the presence of thyroid cancer,190 (48.9%) nodular thyroid tumor,94 (24.2%) thyroid adenoma,7 (1.8%) hyperthyroidism,the rest (8.5%) simple Hashimoto's disease.Prior to 2000, among 106 cases of Hashimoto's disease there were 15 cases accompanied by thyroid cancer.Since 2001,282 cases of Hashimoto's disease were dealt surgically,49 of which had thyroid cancer.Compared to the period from 1995 to 2000,the complication of Hashimoto's disease and thyroid cancer has been sharply increasing during the recent five years (P

Objective To introduce the experience and analyze the clinical outcome of applica- tion of reinforced bar-ring hybrid external fixator combined with limited internal fixation for complex frac- turcs of tibia plateau in patients.Methods From Aug.2002 to Feb.2005,21 patients with complex fractures of tibial plateau were treated with reinforced bar-ring hybrid external fixatar combined with lim- ited internal fixation.According to Schatzker classification,there were 13 patients with typeⅤfracture and 8 with typeⅥfracture.Voluntary and non-weight beating knee joint motion to partially weight bear- ing was taken one week after operation.Progressive loading was taken continuously until there was clinical evidence of fracture stability and then full weight bearing was done.Results The mean follow-up peri- od was 15.9 months (10-24 months).All the fractures got united and the mean union time was 4.2 months(3-8 months).All the injured knees could extend to less than 5 degrees and flex to more than 90 degrees after rehabilitation.Evaluated by Merchant score system for knee joint,81% of patients achieved excellent healing (7 cases) and good healing (10 cases).Conclusion Operation by using reinforced bar-ring hybrid external fixator combined with limited internal fixation can reduce complications and avoid stiffness of the knee joint.It is an effective method for complex fractures of tibial plateau.

Objective To evaluate the clinical efficacy of interventional occlusion of ventricular septal rupture (VSR) complicating acute myocardial infarction (AMI). Methods Six patients with VSR complicated after AMI underwent transcatheter interventional occlusion in Chinese PLA General Hospital between May 2009 to May 2015 were retrospectively analyzed. Their clinical features, interventional treatment protocols, and occurance of postoperative complications were studied. Results Among the 6 patients, VSR were successfully occluded in 5 patients. One patient failed the operation due to instability of occluder after it was deployed and the occluder was retrieved. The paitents died of heart failure 6 months later. Among the 5 patients with successful closure, 4 patients presented mild residual shunt after occlusion and acute left heart failure occurred in 1 patient after operation. Two patients died during hospital stay after operation. Between them, one patient died 3 hours after operation because of cardiac tamponade and the other patient died of cardiogenic shock after withdrawal from IABP. Three patients were followed up until now and follow up echocardiography showed satisfactory cardiac function without heart failure. Conclusions Transcatheter occlusion was a reliable therapy for patients with ventricular septal rupture complicated in acute myocardial infarction which could improve cardiac function and reduce mortality.

Objective To establish VX2 hepatic carcinoma model in rabbits by implanting the tumor fragment into the liver through percutaneous puncture under ultrasound guidance and to observe its growing and metastatic characteristics, to determine the optimal time for interventional experiment study with the model. Methods Inoculation of VX2 carcinoma fragment was performed in 28 New Zealand white rabbits. PET/CT and ultrasonography (US) examinations were carried out in the second, third and forth week after the inoculation, and each time two tumor-bearing rabbits were sacrificed for pathologic study. Results The successful rate of model establishment was 89.28% (25/28). On PET or CT scans, single lesion in the liver was demonstrated in 25 rabbits. Two, three and four weeks after the inoculation, the maximum diameter of the tumor was (4.82±0.80) mm, (16.05±2.89) mm and (30.08±5.38) mm respectively, while the metastasis rates was 0% (0/25), 13.04% (3/23), 76.19% (16/21) respectively. No significant necrosis was found in the second week after inoculation, only tiny coagulation necrosis was revealed in the third week, and massive necrosis was seen in the forth week. Conclusion Percutaneous inoculation of the tumor fragment into the liver under ultrasonographic guidance is a simple method to establish VX2 hepatic carcinoma in rabbits with a high successful rate. The third week after inoculation is the suitable time for making interventional experiment study.

Schistosomal hepatopathy is widespread in China,and there were more than 30000 schistosomiasis patients with serious liver fibrosis in 2015. This article reviews the pathological manifestations,clinical presentations,imaging findings as well as imaging diagnosis value of schistosomal hepatopathy,and mainly reviews the progress of the typical imaging manifesta-tions of schistosomal hepatopathy and new imaging methods for evaluating the liver fibrosis.
