Objective To explore effect of endogeneous gangliosides(Gls) and integrin ?2?1 on protein phosphotyrosine expression of pp125 focal adhesion kinase (pp125FAK) after adhesion of SK-N-SH neuroblastoma cells to collagen(Col). Methods SK-N-SH cell line with high expression of integrin ?2?1 was cultured in presence of D-threo-1-phenyl-2-decanolamino-3-morphinoline-1-propanol(D-PDMP).Effect of endogeneous Gls,anti-?2 and anti-?1 monoclonal antibody on protein phosphotyrosine expression of pp125FAK during adhesion of SK-N-SH cells to Col were determined by immunoprecipitate and Western blotting. Results After 6 days, endogenous Gls in cells were almost depleted.Gls-depletion,anti?2 and anti-?1 monoclonal antibody were able to decrease pp125FAK expression of SK-N-SH cells adherent to Col respectively.GD2,the major component of neuroblastoma cell Gls could reco-ver pp125FAK expression to a certain degree. Conclusions Endogenous tumor Gls regulate protein phosphotyrosine expression of pp125FAK during adhesion of neuroblastoma cells to Col.It is suggested that tumor Gls may increase signal transduction of tumor cell integrin ?2?1 by increasing tyrosine phosphorylation of pp125FAK.

ObjectiveTo observe the curative effect of marrow stem cell transplant on bone nonunion and bone defection.Methods140 patients were randomly divided into the group A (with auto-iliac bone transplant) and group B (with auto-marrow stem cell transplant). There were 70 cases in each group. All patients in two groups were treated by operation and inside and outside fixation.ResultsAfter treatment, the average cicatrization time of group A was (7.0±2.0) months, that of group B was (5.0±1.5) months, there was a significant difference between two groups( P<0.05). There were no obvious adverse reactions found during the treatment period.ConclusionCompared with the traditional bone grafting, treating bone nonunion and bone defection by auto-marrow stem cell transplant has obvious superiority with better curative effect, short course and no adverse reactions.

OBJECTIVETo summarize the experience of urethral reconstruction using circular fasciocutaneous flap for the treatment of complex anterior urethral strictures.
METHODThe circular fasciocutaneous flap was harvested from the distal penile shaft or foreskin. Then the circular configuration was converted into longitudinal strip of skin which was rotated to ventral side to repair the exposured urethral strictures using the ventral onlay method. The surveillance protocol after urethroplasty was urination observation, regularly uroflowmetry and urethrography examination.
RESULTSFrom Nov. 2006 to Oct. 2012, 15 cases were treated. The mean age was 45 years (20-76 years) and mean follow-up period was 18 months(3 months-3 years). Stricture was caused by chronic urethritis in 4 cases, long-term urethral catheterization in 3 cases, transurethral perfusion chem other aphy in 3 cases, transurethral prostatectomy in 3 cases and hypospadias after surgery in 2 patients. The mean stricture length was 7.0 cm (3.5-12.0 cm). The overall success rate was 80.0% (12/15). Recurrence stenosis was noted in 2 cases and diverticulum formation in 1 case.
CONCLUSIONSThe penile circular fasciocutaneous flap can be used for anterior urethral stricture in nearly any length. The flap has the characteristics of hairless, adequate mobile and length, well-vascularized pedicle and easy to harvest. The onlay reconstruction provides excellent cosmetic results, less trauma, higher success rate. Therefore it should be one of the preferred techniques for complex anterior urethral stricture repair.

Chinese Journal of Modern Nursing 2011;17(9):1097-1098
Objective to Investigate the method of prevent leakage of radioactive medicine after intravenous injection. Methods To compare the situation of medicine leakage after intravenous injection after the nurses and patients press together (experimental group) with the patients press 5-10 min after the nurses press for a moment(contrast group 1 )or the nurses press 1 min (contrast group 2) respectively, to observe the relationship between the different oppression methods and drug leakage. Results When the operating time were the same, the experimental group reduced the vascular leakage of drug compared with the contrast group 1 (χ2 = 32.264, P < 0. 01). When operating time didn' t extend, the experimental group also could reduce the vascular leakage of drug compared with the contrast group 2 ( χ2 = 0. 260, P = 0. 610, P > 0. 05). Conclusions The method of nurses and patients press together don' t increase operating time and can reduce medicine leakage from vascular. It is acceptable by patient.

OBJECTIVETo explore the effects of integrative medicine (IM) rehabilitation protocolon motor function, activity of daily living, and quality of life (QOL) in hemiplegia patients after stroke.
METHODSTotally 120 patients with post-stroke hemiplegia were allocated to four groups using sealed envalope drawing, i.e., the rehabilitation group, the Chinese medical treatment group, the acupuncture group, and the comprehensive rehabilitation group, 30 cases in each group. Based on routine rehabilitative training, patients in the Chinese medical treatment group, the acupuncture group, and the compre-hensive rehabilitation group received standardized treatment based on syndrome typing, Shi's Consciousness-Restoring Resuscitation acupuncture, Chinese herbs + acupuncture comprehensive rehabilitatino protocol, respectively. The treatmet cycle consisted of 4 weeks with 24-week follow-ups. Fugl-Meyer motor assessment (FMA), Modified Barthel Index (MBI), and Stroke-Specific Quality of Life Scale(SS-QQL), and safety assessment were taken as main effect indices before treatment, at week 4 of treatment, at week 12 and 24 of follow-ups, respectively.
RESULTSThere was no statistical difference in FMA score, MBI score, SS-QOL score among the four groups before treatment (P > 0.05). These scores were significantly improved in the four groups at week 4 of treatment, week 12 and 24 of follow-ups, respectively (P < 0.05). Besides, FMA score and SS-QOL score were significantly improved in the comprehensive rehabilitation group at each corresponding time point, as compared with other treatment groups (P < 0.05).
CONCLUSIONSThe comprehensive protocol could significantly improve motor function, activity of daily living in hemiplegia patients after stroke, and further improve their QOL. Its effect was better than other single treatment.
