5.Status quo of nursing lack in level three first-class hospitals of Zhongshan city

Objective To investigate the status quo of nursing lack in level three first-class hospitals of Zhongshan city,and analyze the relevant reasons.Methods A sample of 765 nurses in 4 tertiary general hospitals completed the modified Missed Nursing Care Survey.Results Assessment,planning,intervention and evaluation were reported to be missed by 9.86%~39.04%,12.05%~44.38%,3.29%~46.85% and 12.19%~22.05% of the survey respondents respectively.Reasons for missed care were lack of labor resources(85.48%~93.84%),lack of material resources(80.00%~80.96%),low efficiency of the team (78.08%~86.58%),poor work habits (70.95%~83.84%),and improvement of patients’ needs (88.90%~93.01%).Conclusions Lack of care is widespread,and the degree of lack of each link is different.Reasons lead to the lack of care of nursing staff are higher patients’ demands to nursing work,shortage of nursing staff and unplanned surge of patients’ number.
6.Mechanism progress on enteric nervous system of acupuncture for slow transit constipation.

In recent years, according to the etiology and pathology researches of slow transit constipation (STC) STC is considered as a kind of "enteric neuropathy", indicating it is a kind of disease caused by abnormity of the enteric nervous system (ENS). Through reviewing the mechanism of acupuncture to regulate STC, it is found out that there is a close relationship between acupuncture regulating STC and ENS. Through various channels including ganglion cells, nerve plexus, neurotransmitter and TRPV1 (the primary sensory neurons receptor of the ENS) of the ENS, acupuncture is likely to make comprehensive adjustment on STC.

Objective To observe the effects of fosinopril(FOS),a new generation angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitor(ACEI),on protein and mRNA expression of transforming growth factor-?_1(TGF-?_1) of rat glomerular mesangial cell(GMC) induced by lipopolysaccharide(LPS);to demonstrate the preventive mechanism against glomerular sclerosis by applying FOS.Methods The cultured GMC in classic way were divided into 3 groups:control group;LPS group;LPS+FOS group.TGF-?_1 concentration in GMC supernatant fluid was detected by ELISA;TGF-?_1 mRNA expression was determined by semiquantitative real-time RT-PCR.Results LPS group was obviously higher than control groups in TGF-?_1 secretion and mRNA expression,while LPS+FOS group decreased distinctively in TGF-?_1 secretion and mRNA expression compared with LPS group.Conclusions FOS has obviously inhibited on TGF-?_1 expression of rat GMC both at protein level and mRNA level,which reveals that it may be an important mechanism by FOS on restraining the development of glomerulosclerosis.
