3.RISK FACTORS OF IMPAIRED CARDIAC DIASTOLIC FUNCTION IN PATIENTS WITH ABNORMALITIES OF GLUCOSE METABOLISM
Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 2001;0(07):-
To investigate the clinical risk factors of cardiac diastolic dysfunction in type 2 DM, Doppler echocardiographic examinations were performed on 63 male patients. With a routine 2 dimensional echocardiograph, mitral and pulmonary venous flow velocity were recorded. The patients were classified into DM, IGT and NGT based on well standardized criteria of WHO. All analyses were performed by the SPSS/PC or Windows Release 9.0 Statistical Package. The risk factors of impairment of diastolic function were analyzed by regression. Results showed that the levels of blood glucose and insulin were independent risk factors for diabetic cardiac diastolic dysfunction.

Objective To review our clinical experience on 12 patients with retroperitoneal infection who were treated with retroperitoneal laparoscopic debridement.Method This retrospective study included 12 patients with retroperitoneal infection who were treated with retroperitoneal laparoscopic dehridement and drainage. Results All the 12 patients recovered well and were finally discharged home. Conclusions Retroperitoneal laparoscopic debridement and drainage for retroperitoneal infection is a mini-invasive procedure. It was found to be safe, produced minimal bleeding and resulted in rapid postoperative recovery. It can be used as the first choice treatment in properly selected patients.

Chinese Journal of Organ Transplantation 2005;0(11):-
Objective To summarize the experience and clinical characteristics in liver re- transplantation following adult-to-adult living donor liver transplantation. Methods Due to biliary complication (2 cases),vascular complication (2 cases),chronic rejection (1 case) and hepatitis recur- rence (1 case),liver re-transplantation was performed on 6 patients through modified piggyback liver transplantation.Vascular anastomosis was performed between the hepatic arteries of donor livers and receptor abdominal aorta in 1 case, and the rest were subjected to end-to-end homonymic vascular anastomosis. Results No operative death occurred.Due to primary non-function,1 died after the ope- ration.During the follow-up period,1 had anastomotic stricture of hepatic artery after the operation and was cured by percutaneous venoplasty. The survival of the rest patients was 12,9,6,4 and 3 months respectively. Conclusion Peritoneal adhesion is the operative difficulty for liver re-transplantation following adult-to-adult living donor liver transplantation.

Journal of Third Military Medical University 1983;0(04):-
Objective To study the role of Foxp3 + CD4 + CD25 + regulatory T cells(Foxp3 + CD4 + CD25 + Tregs) and Foxp3mRNA in pathogenesis of passive transferred myasthenia gravis(PTMG) by detecting their expression in a PTMG model. Methods Sixteen C57BL/6 young female mice were divided into model group and control group.A PTMG model was established by injecting Ringer's solution containing 1.0 mg/kg mAb35 into abdominal cavity.Mice in control group were injected with Ringer's solution not containing mAb35.Levels of CD4 + CD25 + T cells and Foxp3 + CD4 + CD25 + Tregs in spleen cells were measured by flow cytometry.Expression of Foxp3 mRNA in spleen cells was detected by real-time fluorescent quantitative polymerase chain reaction(RT-FQ-PCR).Serum level of interleukin-2 and interferon-? was detected by ELISA.Results The ratio of CD4 + CD25 + T cells and CD4 + T cells was higher in model group(8.82 ? 0.74)% than in control group(9.89 ? 0.88)%(P

Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2013;(9):964-967
Objective To survey on present situation of medical students' study style and to provide references to improve the development of study style. Methods Totally 512 undergraduate stu-dents of one medical university in Tianjing were asked to fill the questionnaire by themselves. Main con-tents of the questionnaire included study targets, study attitudes, study methods, teaching level, teaching equipments, school training system and management system, etc. Epidata3.02 was used to accomplish data entry and SPSS software was used to do statistical analysis. The data were described by percentage. Results More than 50.0% students took attending post-graduate examination, passing college English test band 4 and band 6 and getting diploma as main study purposes. 81.96%(404/499)medical stu-dents spent their spare time on study by themselves. 98.40%(491/499)students took notes in class, while only 8.62%(43/499)students often discussed questions with their teachers after class. 70.54%students said that they ever attended academic lectures organized by college and achieved benefits from them. 40.88%(204/499)students were highly eager to win scholarship. More than half of the students took gloomy atti-tude towards getting a job and this phenomenon should cause educators' attention. 78.56%(392/499 ) students held the opinion that medical professional teachers have higher teaching level and 26.65%(133/499 ) students thought that college's teaching equipments should be improved . Conclusions Following aspects should be emphasized in order to further strengthen and improve medical students' study style:making further efforts to arouse students' study initiative, playing the leading role of teach-ers and promoting study style by promoting teaching style, improving rules and regulations of study style development and strengthening college's hardware construction.

Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2006;12(3):246-247
ObjectiveTo explore the effect of earlier rehabilitation on activities of daily living(ADL) of patients with spinal cord injury(SCI).Methods50 SCI patients received earlier rehabilitation and improvement of ADL of patients was evaluated.ResultsAfter two months treatment, the scores of Barthel index, functional independence measure(FIM) grade of patients increased significantly compared with that of before treatment(P<0.05) and ADL improved.ConclusionEarlier rehabilitation can improve ADL of SCI patients.

Journal of Acupuncture and Tuina Science 2021;19(3):180-186
Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of Zhi Shen Tiao Sui (regulating the mind and marrow) needling in treating depression after ischemic stroke. Methods: A total of 145 patients with depression after ischemic stroke were recruited between January 2016 and January 2018 and divided into two groups using random number table method, with 72 cases in the control group and 73 cases in the observation group. The control group received conventional treatment for ischemic stroke and medication, while the observation group was given additional Zhi Shen Tiao Sui acupuncture. The two groups were treated for 4 successive weeks. Clinical efficacy was analyzed after treatment. The neurological function pertinent scores [Hamilton depression scale (HAMD), clinical neurological deficit score (CNDS), activities of daily living (ADL), Fugl-Meyer assessment scale (FMA) and Barthel index (BI) scores], as well as the levels of cortisol (CORT) and adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH) were recorded in the two groups. Adverse reactions that occurred during treatment were also observed. Results: The clinical total effective rate was 82.2% in the observation group, significantly higher than 66.7% in the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, the HAMD and CNDS scores were markedly reduced in both groups (all P<0.05), and the ADL, FMA and BI scores were markedly increased (all P<0.05). The HAMD and CNDS scores were significantly lower in the observation group than in the control group after treatment (both P<0.05), and the ADL, FMA and BI scores were significantly higher in the observation group than in the control group (all P<0.05). The levels of CORT and ACTH declined significantly after treatment in the two groups (all P<0.05), and were markedly lower in the observation group than in the control group (both P<0.05). The adverse reaction rate was 2.7% in the observation group, versus 4.2% in the control group, and the between-group difference was statistically insignificant (P>0.05). Conclusion: Compared with sole use of Western medication, medication combined with Zhi Shen Tiao Sui acupuncture can promote the recovery of neurological function, down-regulate the levels of CORT and ACTH and enhance the clinical efficacy in treating patients with depression after ischemic stroke, with a relatively high safety rating.
