Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2003;0(03):-
Personnel resource is very important for the development of emergency department and emergency medicine. In recent years a series of researches for the standardized training of emergency residents have been progressed in the Emergency Depart- ment of West China Hospital. It goes through three phases. The idea of the training changes from“general physician”to“emer- gency specialist”.And the training is designed, practised and assessed with standardization.
4. Anti-aging effect of polypeptides from Fructus Lycii on D-gal nduced aging model mice and the possible mechanism
Journal of International Pharmaceutical Research 2010;37(1):47-50
Objective: To study the anti-aging effect of polypeptides from Fructus Lycii(PFL) on D-galactose(D-gal) induced aging model mice and the possible mechanism. Methods: Sixty ICR mice were randomly divided nto normal control group, D-gal induced model group, PFL 200, 400 and 800 mg/(kg · d) groups and vitamin E(VitE) 100 mg/(kg · d) group. D-gal aging mouse model was established by cervicodorsal region subcutaneous injection with D-gal(10 mg/kg) once a day for five successive weeks. In the meantime, drugs were given by intragastric administration respectively n PFL and Vit E treatment groups. The effect of PFL on learning and memory ability of mice was observed. After 5 weeks, the superoxide dismutase(SOD) activity, malondialdehyde(MDA) content and telomerase activity in serum, heart, liver and brain tissues of mice were measured. Results: Compared with normal control group, for aging model mice, the weight increasement declined, the number of errors in step-down test increased, the SOD and tolemerase activities in serum heart, liver and brain tissues dropped, and the MDA content was raised, P<0.01. Compared with model group, for the mice in PFL and VitE treatment groups, the weight increasement rised(P<0.01), the error number in step-down test decreased(P<0.05), the SOD activity in serum, heart, liver and brain tissues enhanced, and the MDA content reduced (P<0.01). The telomerase activity in serum and heart of 400, 800 mg/(kg · d) PFL and VitE treatment groups also increased significantly than model group, while that in liver and brain did not change. Conclusion: PFL have anti-aging effect on D-gal induced aging mice, and the action mechanism is related to the increasement of SOD activity, the decreasement of MDA content in serum, heart, liver and brain of D-gal aging mice, and the increasement of telomerase activity in serum and heart.

Journal of Chinese Physician 2001;0(02):-
Objective To study expression change of vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF) protein and mRNA in rat brain with cerebral hemorrhage and effect of traditional Chinese medicine complex Nao Yi An(NYA) on VEGF expression. Methods The intracerebral hemorrhage(ICH) animal models were made by injecting collagenase type Ⅶstereotaxically into right globus pallidus. The experiment techniques of immunohistochemistry and in situ hybridization were employed to detect the expression variation of VEGF at 3h,6h,12h,1d,4d,7d and 14d after cerebral hemorrhage by positive cell counting as an observation index. Results The VEGF expression in the rat brains was observed at 3h after cerebral hemorrhage, raising at 6h,peaking at 12h and remaining peak until 1d. In the fourth day, VEGF began to decrease and still expressed a little at 7d and 14d.NYA could increase the VEGF expression in rat brains with cerebral hemorhage obviously at 6h ,12h,1d and 4d (P

Chinese Journal of Medical Imaging 2015;(11):865-870
Purpose Accurate diagnosis of triangular fibrocartilage (TFC) tear is very important for treatment. MRI is most used for diagnosing TFC tear. This paper aims to evaluate MRI and MR arthrography (MRA) for diagnosing TFC tear by meta-analysis. Materials and Methods The articles were searched in the databases such as Wanfang, VIP, CNKI, Cochrane Library, Medline, Embase and PubMed. The QUADAS items were used to evaluate the quality of the included studies. Heterogeneity of the included articles was tested. The pooled weighted sensitivity and specificity of MRI and MRA in diagnosing TFC tear were calculated, and the pooled receiver operation curve was drawn. Results Fifteen articles met the inclusion criteria, 2 were Chinese articles and 13 were English articles. The subjects and methods of the articles were different and existed heterogeneity. The sensitivity and specificity of MRI for diagnosing TFC tear were 0.66 (95% CI 0.61-0.71) and 0.75 (95% CI 0.69-0.81), and those of MRA were 0.80 (95% CI 0.73-0.87) and 0.86 (95% CI 0.74-0.93). The area under curve and Q* index of SROC of MRI were 0.8566 and 0.7875, respectively. The area under curve and Q* index of SROC of MRA were 0.9123 and 0.8446, respectively. Conclusion The accuracy of TFC tear avulsion for MRA are higher than for MRI, when there is unclear of TFC avulsion using MRI, MRA can be used for diagnosis.

Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2004;0(12):-
Objective To explore the expression of adrenomedulin(ADM) and its receptors mRNA in newborn rats with hypoxic-ischemic brain damage(HIBD).Methods Eighty 7-day-old Wistar neonatal rats were randomly assigned 10 groups,to the sham- operation group(the left common carotid artery without ligated and no hpoxia environment),HIBD different time points groups(0,2,4,6,8,10,12,24,48 hours). The expression of ADM mRNA was measured in cortex at different time points by the reverse-transcription polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR).Results Expressions of ADM and its receptors mRNA in neonatal rats with HIBD increased, and after HIBD 2-4 hours, had a significant difference compared with the sharn-operation group, and reached the highest after HIBD 8-10 hours(P
8.Mechanisms of HIV envelope-induced T lymphocyte apoptosis
Virologica Sinica 2010;25(5):307-315
Infection by the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) is characterized by a progressive depletion of CD4 T lymphocytes, which leads to dysfunction of the immune system. Although a variety of mechanisms may contribute to the gradual T cell decline that occurs in HIV-infected patients, abnormal apoptosis of infected or bystander T lymphocytes is an important event leading to immunodeficiency. The HIV envelope glycoprotein plays a crucial role in HIV associated apoptosis through both death receptor-mediated and mitochondria-dependent pathways. This review summarizes current knowledge of Env-mediated T lymphocyte apoptosis.

To investigate the relationship between transcription factor and the change of protein expression levels in heart failure. Methods Bioinformatic method was used to analyze the data of binding-sites on the 5 ' flaking regions of four genes whose mRNA level changed in failing heart from three databases about nucleic acid-EMBL, transcriptional regulation factor-TRANSFAC and protein-SWISS-PORT.The expression level of selected transcription factor was determined by immunohischemical method. Results Nine transcription factors were inferred to influence the proteins' levels in occurrence and development of heart failure.Serum response factor (SRF) was selected from the nine factors and assayed. The results showed that there was a higher level of SRF in healthy group than in chronic heart failure (CHF), and the level was associated with the degree of CHF. It was also found that there was a relative higher level of SRF in the acute myocardial infarction (AMI) than that in CHF, but which was lower than the healthy. Conclusion It showed that SRF had a quantitative change in the development of heart failure, and suggested SRF might play an important regulative role in heart failure. The expression changes of proteins related to myocardial function might be regulated by the quantitative change of transcription factor(s).
