2.Progress of cyclooxygense-2 inhibitors in treatment of Alzheimer's disease
Chinese Journal of Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics 2000;0(03):-
Alzheimer's disease (AD) is the most common cause of dementia in the elderly population. The occurrence of dementia correlates with inflammation. Inflammation processes may play a critical role in the pathogenesi s of the degenerative changes and cognitive impairments associated with Alzheime r's disease. Cyclooxygense-2 (COX-2) inhibitors are reported to be e ffective in reducing the risk of developing AD or cognitive impairments. Studies on this field are of important significance in the understanding the pathogenes is and therapeutic measures for AD. This review will discuss the progress in the treatment of Alzheimer's disease by COX-2 inhibitors.

Cancer Research and Clinic 2006;0(09):-
Primary Hepatic Carcinoma(PHC)is one of the most common malignant tumors in the world.Nowadays, its incidence and mortality have been still increasing. With regard to the early treatment for PHC,the combined therapy, primarily referred to operation,is considered optimal. For recent decades, with the quick development of ultrasonic therapeutics,High Intensity Focused Ultrasound(HIFU)techniques, which rose newly, has already become a kind of effective and noninvasive substitution therapy for PHC operation therapy as a kind of noninvasive tumor therapy. Now,this literature review aims to summarize the found re- search and clinical research of HIFU therapy for primary hepatic carcinoma.

Chinese Journal of Laboratory Medicine 2012;(12):1167-1171
Objective To discuss the best bacterial combination for the diagnosis of Bacterial vaginosis (BV).Methods This is a retrospective study,230 BV-positive patients and 360 healthy women were enrolled based on the Amsel criteria and Nugent score.5 BV-associated bacteria, including Gardnerella vaginalis,Atopobium vaginae and Leptotrichia/Sneathia species,et al.were amplified by specific-PCR assay, the detection rate were compared between two groups.ROC curve and Kappa test were used to select the best combination. Results The detection rate of Gardnerella vaginalis,Atopobium vaginae,Leptotrichia/Sneathia species,Megasphaera species and Mobiluncus mulieris in BV group (91.3%,83.5%,39.1%,42.6% and 36.5% respectively) were markedly higher than that in healthy women (37.2%,14.4%,11.7%,8.9% and 5.6% respectively),x2 value were 168.848,275.776,60.949,92.886 and 92.68,all P < 0.05.The area under ROC curve of A.vag,G.Vag + A.vag,G.Vag + A.vag + Lepto,G.Vag + A.vag +Mega and G.Vag + A.vag + M.mul were 0.845,0.862,0.865,0.869 and 0.867,and the sensitivity and specifity were higher than 80%,the value of Kappa were larger than 0.75 (P < 0.05).Thus,these five methods were coincident. Conclusion Detection of Atopobium vaginae may be a better way for the diagnosis of BV.
10.The research progress in induced pluripotent stem cell in ophthalmology
Chinese Journal of Experimental Ophthalmology 2012;30(7):662-666
The establishment of induced pluripotent stem cells(iPSCs)has been a major breakthrough in the field of stem cell research since 2006,and it made possible for the use of stem cells in treating retinal degenerative diseases.Research showed that fibroblast,B lymphocytes, neural stem cells, hair corneous cells, pancreatic cells, mesenchymal cells of umbilical cord stroma and amniotic membrane can be reprogrammed as iPSCs,and they are capable of differentiating into specific types of cells. Some novel developments in iPSCs study in ophthalmology also were observed over the past few years.Induced iPSCs can differentiate into retinal pigment epithelial cells, photoreceptors and other retinal cells, which lay a foundation for the therapy of retinal degenerative diseases.Differented from traditional treatment of stem cells, the generation of iPSCs makes it possible to utilize somatic cells derived from patients for stem cell therapy without provoking ethical and immunological problems. The generation of iPSCs,the current research about iPSCs in the ophthalmic field, the limitations of iPSCs in the clinic and their future development and application were reviewed.
