Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2014;21(6):868-869
Objective To explore the effect of conventional western medicine combined with Qiangxin Tongmai decotion in the treatment of patients with chronic heart failure (CHF).Methods According to the digital table,60 patients with CHF were randomly divided into two groups,30 cases in each group. The control group was treated with conventional western medicine, while the treatment group received combination therapy of conventional western medicine and Qiangxin Tongmai decotion. The heart function and plasma brain natriuretic peptide (BNP) level were observed. Results The total effective rate of the treatment group was 93.3%,which was significantly higher than 70.0% of the control group (x2 =5.455,P < 0.05).After treatment, the level of BNP in the treatment group was (211.3 ± 87.7) ng/L,which was significantly lower than that of the control group [(410.8 ± 94.3) ng/L] (t =8.485,P < 0.01).Conclusion Qiangxin Tongmai decotion can obviously improve the heart function and reduce the level of BNP in patients with CHF.

Objective To compare the effect of oxycodone or sufentanil in preventing post-operative hyperalgesia induced by remifentanil. Methods One hundred and twenty patients scheduled for radical operation for carcinoma of stomach undergoing general anesthesia, 62 males and 58 females, aged 18-65 years, ASA physical status Ⅰ or Ⅱ, were randomly divided into 3 groups.Thirty minutes before the end of operation, oxycodone hydrochloride 10 mg was administered intravenously in oxycodone hydrochloride group (group O, n=42) while sufentanil 10 μg was injected in group S (group S, n=40) and equal normal saline was injected in control group (group C, n=38).The VAS score after waking up was recorded.VAS score>3 was defined as hyperalgesia, and sufentanil was injected when VAS score≥6.The BCS scores were recorded immediately after extubation (T1), 30 min (T1), 1 h (T3), 2 h (T4) and 4 h (T5) after extubation.Awakening time and extubation time and the incidence of nausea and vomiting 4 h after extubation were compared. Results At T1-T5, the BCS scores in group O were significantly higher than those in groups S and C (P<0.05).Group S has a higher adverse reaction (P<0.05).There was no significant differences of awakening time and extubation time in 3 groups. Conclusion Prophylactic injection of oxycodone 10 mg can reduce incidence rate of post-operative hyperalgesia, and increase BCS score with little side effects.
5. Identification and fragmentation regularity of polyphenol compounds from Galla Quercina by UPLC-MS/MS
Chinese Traditional and Herbal Drugs 2017;48(22):4632-4638
Objective To explore the fragmentation regularity and identify the polyphenol components in Galla Quercina. Methods Waters Xevo TQD liquid chromatography/mass spectrometer ESI negative mode was used to analysis, mobile phase was 0.02% formic acid-water and acetonitrile for gradient eluent. Data were analyzed by Mass Lynx software. Results Three categories and 15 compounds in Galla Quercina were identified and divided into gallotannins, ellagitannins, and phenolic acids. Gallotannins was cleaved by loss of gallic acyl, C2H2O, CH2O, CO2, and OH, and the gallotannins had the regular loss of gallic acid units (152). Conclusion The results of fragmentation mechanism can be used to detect polyphenol compounds in Galla Quercina and provide a useful reference for the study on the chemical constituents of medicinal plants rich in polyphenols.

Chinese Journal of Applied Physiology 2014;30(3):230-236
OBJECTIVETo investigate the protective effect and mechanism of Xingnaojing(Traditional Chinese Medicine) injection on brain injury in rats.
METHODSSixty-three healthy adult male SD rats were randomly divided into 3 groups (n = 21): sham operation group, model group, xingnaojing group. The model of traumatic brain injury model group and Xingnaojing group used the free fall impact injury method, the sham operation group underwent craniotomy, did not cause brain damage. Xingnaojing group in rats after 10 min by tail vein injection Xingnaojing injection 10 ml/(kg x d), model group and sham operation group were intravenously injected with 0.9% sodium chloride solution, three groups were administered continuously for 7 days. At administration of the seventh days compared the S-100B protein in the serum and neuro specific enolase (NSE) level, the water content of brain tissue, serum superoxide dismutase (SOD), malondialdehyde (MDA) and glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px) content, and neurological function of rats among groups.
RESULTSCompared with the sham operation group, the nerve defect, brain water content, MDA, S100B protein and NSE levels were obvigusly increased in Xingnaojing group and model group; SOD, GSH-Px content decreased significantly; In Xingnaojing group nerve impairment and brain moisture were significantly lower than those of model group, the serum MDA, S-100B protein and NSE levels were significantly lower than those in the model group, the SOD, GSH-Px activity was significantly higher than that in the model group.
CONCLUSIONXingnaojing injection has protective effects on rat brain injury, and its mechanism may be related to reduce brain edema after traumatic brain injury and inhibit the reaction of oxygen free radical, protect nerve cells.

Chinese Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism 2000;0(06):-
The expressions of hepatocyte growth factor (HGF) and its receptor (c-Met) protein were examined by immunohistochemistry in benign and malignant thyroid neoplasms. The results showed that the positive rates of HGF and c-Met protein expressions in thyroid carcinomas were significantly higher than those of thyroid adenomas, and especially the expressions of HGF and c-Met proteins in follicular thyroid carcinomas were significantly higher than those in follicular thyroid adenomas. There existed significantly positive correlation between the expression degrees of HGF and c-Met in follicular thyroid carcinoma. Thus, the expressions of HGF and c-Met may be valuable in predicting prognosis of thyroid carcinomas and differentiating benign from malignant thyroid neoplasms.

Objective To study the safety and feasibility of tubeless percutaneous nephrostolithotomy by hemostasis gel closure of mini-percutaneous renal-channel.Methods Eighty patients after conventional percutaneous nephrostolithotomy are selected and divided into two groups according to the principle of randomization.Control group adopts conventional percutaneous nephrostolithotomy calculi lithotripsy with renal pelvis drainage tube placement whereas the experimental group adopts tubeless percutaneous nephrostolithotomy by hemostasis gel closure of mini-percutaneous renal channel. Both experimental group and control group will be scientifically and statistically analyzed via the incidence and the dose of using sedative for alleviating pain after operation, hospital stay, level of hemoglobin, and the occurrence of complications such as continuate hemorrhage, infection, urinary extravasation, etc. Results The operation of both groups are successful in phrase Ⅰ.The incidence and the dose of using sedative in control group are obviously higher than that in experimental group(45% vs 20%).However,the incidence of postoperative complications like infection and hemorrhage and hospital stay between two groups are undifferentiated in statistics(P > 0.05).Neither the experimental group nor the control group has perinephric hematoma, and seven cases of control group have urinary leakage after remove of fistula. Conclusion Tubeless percutaneous nephrostolithotomy by hemostasis gel closure of mini-percutaneous renal-channel is safe and feasible and it can reduce the incidence of postoperative pain and avoid urinary leakage.
