3.The Latest Guideline for Neonatal Jaundice Produced by American Academic of Pediatrics
Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2006;0(14):-
Jaundice can occur in most neonates. Most jaundice is benign, but beacuse of the potential toxicity of bilirubin, newborn infants with severe hyperbilirubinemia can develop acute bilirubin encephalopathy or kernicterus. In October 2004,American(academic) of pediatrics produced the latest guideline for newborn jaundice aim to reduce the incidence of acute bilirubin encephalopathy or kernicterus and avoid unnecessary costs or treatment. The latest guideline emphasizes the important of successful breastfeeding, time of jaundice developed, assessment for the risk of severe hyperbilirubinemia, close follow-up,and prompt intervention when indicated, provide a framework for the prevention and management of hyperbilirubinemia in newborn infants of 35 or more weeks of gestation. Some new view in the latest guideline may be helpful to us.
7. Chemokine CCL20 and malignant tumors
Tumor 2011;31(10):961-963
Chemokine is a kind of cytokine that induces cell transport to inflammation sites. It plays an important role in controlling the differentiation, development and directed migration of immunocytes. CCL20 is one of the important members of chemokine family, and it belongs to CC subfamily. Its receptor is CCR6. CCL20 can be expressed in activated monocytes, T lymphocytes, dendritic cells and endothelial cells, and CCR6 can be expressed in liver, lung, and lymphoid tissues. The expression of CCL20 can be induced by tumor necrosis factor α (TNFα), interleukin 1β (IL-1β), IL-17, CD40 ligand and interferon γ (IFN-gamma;). In summary, CCL20 plays an important role in tumor growth, invasion and metastasis (mainly refers to intrahepatic metastasis). Copyright© 2011 by TUMOR.
8.Effect of understanding of stroke patients for illness on direction of rehabilitation
Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2004;10(12):749-750
ObjectiveTo investigate the understanding of stroke among stroke patients and promote the direction of rehabilitation.MethodsA survey was carried out among 80 stroke patients by questionnaire.Results42.5% of those patients knew nothing about the risk factor of stroke and the rate of right behavior related to maintain health was relatively low. The rate of satisfaction with rehabilitative direction was only 66.3% though 98% patients had experienced that direction.ConclusionIntensive and continuous direction of rehabilitation is necessary for the stroke patients. Comprehensive health education should be given to those patients to ensure their best self care and improve their quality of living.

Journal of Shanghai Jiaotong University(Medical Science) 2001;21(1):8-10
Objective In order to study the value of drug treatment for leukemia, quercetin was delivered to the cultured NB4 cell line. MethodsUsing RT- PCR and western blot, we studied the expression of mutant p53 gene and protein after inducing 24, 48, 72, 96 and 120h by the quercetin with different concentrations (30, 60, 90μmol/L). Results We verified the results that quercetin with concentration of 30 ~90μmol/L could successfully inhibit the expression of mutant p53 protein, but the mutant p53 gene did not have. ConclusionThat data suggested that quercetin would be an effective method for the therapy of leukemia.

Chinese Journal of Prevention and Control of Chronic Diseases 2006;0(06):-
Objective To study the level of immunoglobulin and the prevalence of ANA in patients with Graves' diseases(GD).To explore the correlation between GD and other systemic autoimmune disorders. Methods Data of 145 patients with GD and 45 healthy subjects were collected. All cases were detected on the presence of ANA and the level of immunoglobulin,FT3,FT4,and thyroid specific antibodies. Results The presencerate of ANA and the level of IgG in patients with GD were higher than that in healthy controls [(28.28% vs 4.55%);(70.96?26.14 vs 60.41?11.01) mmol/L](P
