The regularity and the preventive and curative measures about the post-operative infections in 3 orthotopic cardiac transplant recipients were reviewed.The results showed that the bacterial infections and the opportunistic fungal infections were common within 1～2 months after the cardiac transplantation.The sensitive antibiotics could completely control the infections.More than 3 months after surgery,the infections were gradually reduced.It was suggested that the prevention and treatment of the post-operative infections should be reinforced in the early stage of transplantation.

Objective:To explore the clinical diagnosis and treatment methods for nasal septum malignancies. Methods:A retrospective study of seven cases of primary nasal septum malignancy was conducted. These cases were treated at the Tianjin First Central Hospital between February 1993 and October 2009. Results:Among the seven cases, one was reported malignant lymphoma, which underwent chemotherapy and radiation therapy;the other six malignant tumors included three cases of adenoid cystic carcinoma, one malignant melanoma, one chondrosarcoma, and one papilloma. Patients were treated by nasal endoscopy, external approach, lip midline incision, overturned facial surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation. During follow-up, which lasted for 2 years to 16 years from time of surgery, two fatalities resulting from recurrence or metastasis were recorded. One of these fatalities occurred after 2 years, and the other was recorded at 3 years and 4 months after surgery. Four patients survived without recurrence. Conclusion:The key treatment for nasal septum malignancies was one-time radical resection. Combined postoperative treatment and follow-up should be conducted.

Objective To investigate the relationship between the C825T polymorphism of G protein β3 subunit (GNB3) and essential hypertension and cerebral infarction patients with a history of hypertension. Methods The C825T polymorphism of GNB3 was determined by polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism in 110 healthy subjects aged over 40 years, 92 patients with essential hypertension, and 80 cerebral infarction patients with a history of hypertension. Sex, age, family histories of diabetics, smoking and alcoholic consumption were documented, and body mass index, waist-hip ratio, total cholesterol (TC),triglyceride (TG), high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C), and fasting blood glucose concentration were measured. A multivariate logistic regression analysis was used to screen the factors associated with the occurrence of cerebral infarction in patients with hypertension.Results The distribution of the C825T polymorphism of GNB3 in the 3 groups all met the Hardy-Weinberg Law of genetic equilibrium. The genotype frequencies of CC, CT and TT in cerebral infarction patients with a history of hypertension were 33％, 57％, and 20％, respectively; those in patients with essential hypertension were 33％, 42％, and 25％ ; respectively;and those in the control group were 26％, 54％, and 20％, respectively. There were no significant differences (x2 =4. 030, P =0. 402). The allele frequencies of 825T in the 3 groups were 39％, 40％, and 47％, respectively. There were no significant differences (x2 =0. 832). A multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that TC (odds ratio [ OR] 10. 810, 95％ confidence interval [ CI] 2. 64544. 136, P =0. 000), TG (OR 5. 453, 95％ CI 1.662-17. 881, P =0. 005),HDL-C (OR, 0. 181, 95％ CI 0. 041-0. 795, P = 0. 027), blood glucose (OR 2. 386, 95％ CI1.062-5. 363, P =0. 035), and diabetes (OR 7. 156, 95％ CI 1.271-40. 291, P =0. 026) were the independent risk factors for cerebral infarction, and the GNB3 genotype and allele did not enter the model. Conclusions The C825T polymorphism of GNB3 may not be associated with cerebral infarction and essential hypertension.

OBJECTIVE:To optimize the dry granulation technology conditions for Yinqiao baidu tablet. METHODS:Using granulating difficulty degree and disintegration time as investigation indexes,ratio and amount of accessories microcrystalline cellu-lose and compressible starch in Yinqiao baidu tablet,moisture content of the sprayed powder were screened. Using yield of particle and angle of repose as indexes,L9(34)orthogonal test was used to optimize the wheel pressure,rotating speed and feeding speed in dry granulation technology,and verification test was conducted. RESULTS:The ratio of microcrystalline cellulose and compress-ible starch was 7:3,and mixing ratio of the two with spray powder+inclusion compound was 1:5. The moisture content of spray powder was controlled in 1％-2％. The optimal technology was as follow as wheel pressure of 3.5 MPa,roller speed of 4 r/min and feeding speed of 10 r/min. In verification test,average yield of particle was 69.2％ and angle of repose was 31.5 °. Transfer rate of chlorogenic acid had reached over 92％,and RSD of each index was below 2.53％(n=3). CONCLUSIONS:Each index of parti-cle prepared by optimized accessories formulation and technology shows good reproducibility and feasibility,and the technology is stable and suitable for production.

Objective To study the chemical constituents from the aerial parts of Anabasis aphylla.Methods The chemical constituents were isolated and purified by silica gel column and Sephadex LH-20 column chromatography.Spectroscopic methods such as MS and NMR spectra were used for the structural identification.Results A new caffeate ester, named eicosyl-(Z)-caffeate (1), along with fourteen known compounds was isolated from the EtOAc part.Conclusion Compound 1 is a new compound and compounds 2-13 are isolated from the plants of Anabasis L.for the first time.

BACKGROUND: Stroke in progression(SIP) accounts for 26% -43% of cerebral infarction. It is a common clinical stroke subtype. However, there are no effective treatments to stop the progress with higher mortality rate and invalid rate. More attentions have been paid for multiple risk factors of cerebrovascular diseases during precaution and treatment. But the study on relationship between infection and stroke occurrence, and the inhibited clinical event with antivirus druggery is just at the beginning.OBJECTIVE: To investigate the correlation between clinical SIP characteristics and herpes virus(HSV) infection, and provide the clues to the SIP diagnosis and treatment and early rehabilitation.DESIGN: Case-control study based on patients.SETTING: Department of neurology in a university hospital and a microbiological department in a university.PARTICIPANTS: Totally 47 patients with progressive stroke hospitalized in Department of Neurology, the Second Hospital of Hebei Medical University during April 2001 to March 2002[21 males, 26 females; aged from 15 to 78 years, mean age of(53.12 ± 2.45) years] . There were 43 cases of limb paralysis (92%), 7 cases of aphasia, 4 cases of consciousness disturbance, 1 case of epileptic seizure, 1 case of hemianopia, 5 cases of ataxia, and 24 cases of dizziness. The diagnosis of cerebral infarction was confirmed with CT and/or MRI. The patients clinical pregresively aggravated over more than 72 hours from the stroke onset. And it was not able to stop the aggravation of the situation with conventional treatment. The patients with embolism and reversible ischemic neurological deficit(RIND), cerebral hemorrhage, hemorrhagic infarct were excluded; Patients with other severe diseases such as coronary heart disease, cardiac atrium fibrillation, severe diabetes, hypertension, and the history of illness more than 5 years were excluded. Totally 193 patients were selected as control group with non-cerebrovascular disease, included headache, insomnia, neck and shoulder pain[ 100 males, 93 females, aged from 26 to 60 years,mean age of(42.23 ±9.29)].of the Fourth Scholarship Meeting of Cerebrovascular Diseases in China in tected by MRI, 44 cases detected by magnetic resonance angiography(MRA), 4cases detected by digital subtraction angiography (DSA), and 8 cases detected levels of IgM of human cytomegalovirus(HCMV) and herpes virus(HSV) in serum of 47 patients with progressive stroke and 193 patients without cerebrovascular disease were detected by dot immunogold labeling staining (IGLS); Stromatin PP65 antigen of HCMV in marrow cell were detecting by of the situation with the conventional treatment. PFA 250 mL(3.0 g) was given once a day from 14 to 21 days and dexamethasone 5 - 10 mga day for 3 to 7 days.after treatment with antivirus druggery.dot low-density plaques in cortex or subcortex of cerebral lobes, were found in were found positive in 91% of the patients and the level of IgM in patients PFA was effective.of cerebral lobes, and stenosis or occlusion in cerebral arteries or major infection and progressive stroke.

This paper was aimed to study the genetic diversity and genetic relationship of germplasm resource of Lonicerae Japonicae Flos in order to provide references for its breeding. A total of 36 samples from 18 farm varieties and wild species, as well as related species of Lonicera japonica Thunb. from the main production areas were studied by ISSR-PCR markers. The Jaccard coefficient was worked out by NTSYS-pc software. And a cluster dendrogram of different samples was established based on unweighted pair-group method with arithmetic mean (UPGMA). The re-sults showed that 12 ISSR primers generated 129 loci of which 114 loci were polymorphic. The average percentage of polymorphic bands (PPB) is 88.37%. In the cluster dendrogram, different samples of Lonicera japonica are in the same group, which showed that it is a natural species; the wild sample is separated from the cultivated samples; the traditional type-Maohua is relative stable, but the type of Jizhuahua includes complicated varieties, and it has obvi-ous genetic variation; the new variety Jiufeng 1 has already distinct into one stable type. It was concluded that the ISSR method was suitable for germplasm identification, genetic diversity analysis of Lonicerae Japonicae Flos, thus providing a theoretical foundation for its cultivation and breeding.

Objective To measure the mandibular thickness relative to the osteotomy line of mandibular angle plasty so that to provide the anatomical basis for operation.Methods 37 youth women patients mandible were scanned by spiral CT,then the three-dimensional reconstruction was done,the thickness of the mandible around osteotomy line were measured on the planes corresponding to the posterior margin of mandibukar ramus,the middle part of the mandibular ramus,the posterior line of the third molar,the line between the second and third molar,the line between the second and first molar and the line between the first molar and the second premolar.The data were analyzed by Spss 11.5.Results The thichest bone around the osteotomy line was under the second and third molar,then the bone thickness became thinner forward and backward.The thinnest bony was on the middle part of the mandibular ramus.Conclusion The result of this study is of significant for guiding operation and reducing the complications.

Objective: To systematically review the association between apolipoprotein E (APOE) gene polymorphism and cerebral infarction in Chinese Han population. Methods: The pertinent literature of the gene polymorphism and the case control studies of cerebral infarction in Chinese Han population were researched comprehensively by combined application of 5 effective retrieval approaches. The odds ratio (OR) of the genotype distribution in cerebral infarction group and control group were calculated. Results: A total of 1986 patients with cerebral infarction and controls were included in the meta-analysis. After the data were pooled, the OR values of ApoE ε2/ε3, ApoE ε3/ε3, ApoE ε2/ε4, ApoE ε3/ε4, and ApoE ε4/ε4 were 0. 59 (95% CI, 0.44-0. 79), 0. 52 (95% CI, 0. 40-0.69), 2.00 (95% CI, 1.22-3.28), 2.77 (95% CI, 1.60-4.81 ), and 4. 66 (95% CI, 1.61-13.48), respectively. Conclusions: ApoE ε2/ε4, ApoE ε3/ε4 and ApoE ε4/ε4 genotypes are the risk factors of cerebral infarction. ApoE ε2/ε3 and ApoE ε3/ε3 genotypes are the protective factors of cerebral infarction.

To investigate the risk factors for intracerebral hemorrhage in general population.Methods:The related research was searched through English Medical Current Contents (EMCC),China Hospital Knowledge Database (CHKD),MEDLINE,and Chinese Biomedical Literature Database (CBM).The search terms were intracerebral hemorrhage,factor,and case-control study or cohort study.Results:There were 8 literatures with original data were in accordance with the inclusion criteria.All the data could not be combined because there were some differences in counting and metrology in the risk factors included in all the studies.Hypertension,family history of cerebrovascular disease,high salt diet,alcohol consumption,diabetes mellitus,high diastolic pressure,high systolic pressure,smoking,snoring disease,and increased weighted mean difference of body mass index (BMI) (95% confidence interval) were 5.71 (4.00-6.79),3.54 (2.44-5.14),2.58 (1.94-3.43),2.80 (2.29-3.43),2.78 (1.83-4.23,1.90 (1.35-2.70),17.76 (16.60-18.92),30.43 (28.61-32.25),5.42 (5.15-5.70),1.90 (1.34-2.69),6.88 (4.61-10.26,and 5.42 (5.15-5.70),respectively.There were significant differences between the patient groups and control groups among the above indexes (all P<0.000 01).Conclusions:The risk factors for intracerebral hemorrhage include hypertension,family history of cerebrovascular disease,high salt diet,smoking,alcohol consumption,snoring disease,diabetes mellitus,overweight,high diastolic blood pressure,high systolic blood pressure and increased BMI.
