From Hippophae rhamnoides L.oil free seed, acylated ?-sitosterol ?-D-glucoside was isolated.By alkaline hydrolysis, acylated steryl glucoside yielded ?-sitosterol-?-D-glucoside and fatty acids which were identified as palmitic, stearic, oleic, linoleic, linolenic and decadecylenic acids.These results suggest that acylated steryl glucoside may be esterified forms of ?-sitosterol-?-D-glucoside which was identified by means of physicochemical properties, spectral analysis and synthesis, ?-sitosterol ?-D-glucoside in relatively small doses (i. e. 12mg/kg) was found to be an effective agent in the treatment of acetic acid-induced chronic ulcer in mice.

Two isomeric pentacyclic-triterpenic acids were isolated from the root of Ampelosis brevipedunculata var hancei Rhed for the first time. One acid was identified as oleanolic acid by means of physico-chemical properties and spectral analysis. The other one was acetylatcd and confirmed by X-ray diffraction analysis. This acid was proved to be betulinic acid.

Objective To investigate the effects of treating rheumatoid arthritis due caused by obstruction of dampness-heat with DaQinJiao decoction. Methods 68 cases with rheumatoid arthritis were randomly recruited into a control group and a treatment group, 34 cases in each group. The control group was treated with antimalarial drugs, methotrexate and gold preparation, while the treatment group was treated with DaQinJiao decoction. Compared the therapeutic between the two groups after the treatment. Results The total effective rate in the treatment group and the control group was 88.2% and 64.7% respectively, showing significant difference (P<0.05) . Conclusion It has obvious effects to treat rheumatoid arthritis with DaQinJiao decoction.

Objective To explore the effect of lamivudine on clinical relevant indicators of patients with liver cirrhosis after splenectomy.Methods 30 cases of patients with liver cirrhosis after splenectomy from July 2002 to July 2012 were selected in Ningxia Shizuishan First People's Hospital, and randomly divided into control group and observation group, each had 15 cases.Control group underwent splenectomy only, the observation group was given oral lamivudine, 100 mg/times, one times/d, taking more than one years after splenectomy.The changes of HBV-DNA ration, liver function, prothrombin time and other indexes of the two groups before and after treatment were observed in the treatment process, and the complications after treatment were also observed.Results The hepatitis B virus gene ( HBV-DNA ) quantitative examination results of patients in observation group with negative rate was 33.33%, the control group had no change; total bilirubin(T-BIL), alanine aminotransferase(ALT) in observation group decreased significantly than control group(P <0.05), albumin(ALB) increased significantly(P <0.05), prothrombin time(PT) also decreased significantly ( P<0.05).There were two cases of complications such as ascites, gastrointestinal bleeding in the observation group, which eight cases in control group, the difference was significant.Conclusion The combination of lamivudine treatment on patients with cirrhosis after splenectomy improves the life quality of patients, safely and effectively promoting the rehabilitation of patients.

Objective To observe the radiosensitizing effect of docetaxel on SPC-A1 lung cancer cell line and probe its radiosensitizing mechanisms in vitro. Methods After exposed to docetaxel, SPC-A1 lung cancer cells were irradiated with 137Cs ?-rays radiator at single dose of 2 to 10 Gy. For each radiation dose docetaxel-treated cultures and non-treated control cultures were irradiated simultaneously. The cell survival faction (SF) was evaluated using a standard colony-forming assay. Then the effects of docetaxel on the cell cycle and intracellular reactive oxygen species (ROS) were assayed so as to explore radiosensitizing mechanisms. Results The enhanced radiosensitivity of SPC-A1 lung cancer cells has been observed. The sensitivity enhancement ratio (SER) at 37% survival level were 1.10 and 1.36 for 24 and 48 h pretreatment of docetaxel at dose of 1.25?10-10 mol/L, while it were 1.23 and 1.43 at dose of 2.5?10-10 mol/L for 24 and 48 h pretreatment, respectively. The dose of docetaxel, which can sensitize the cells, could increase the intracellular production of ROS for nearly 2-3 times and did not result in any cell cycle redistribution. Conclusions This study demonstrated that docetaxel is synergistic with radiotherapy to lung cancer cell in vitro. ROS may play a substantial role in the process docetaxel-induced radiosensitization.

Objective: To evaluate the significance of occlusion of hemihepatic inflow plus major ipsilateral hepatic veins in anatomic hepatectomy. Methods: One hundred and two cases were divided into 3 groups for anatomic hepatectomy: Group A (hemihepatic inflow plus major hepatic vein occlusion, n=42), Group B (hemihepatic inflow occlusion, n=30)and Group C (Pringle maneuver, n=30). The amount of intraoperative bleeding, time of operation, postoperative liver function, liver function recovering and complications were compared. Results: The average amount of hemorrhage in Group A, Group B and Group C were(453.5?87.9)、(612.8?101.6)and(646.7?136.6)mL, respectively. The mean blood loss in Group A was significantly more than that in Group B and Group C (P0.05). The levels of serum alanine transaminase (ALT)and bilirubin of 3rd and 6th day of postoperation in Group A and Group B were significantly lower than that in Group C, while the level of serum albumin in Group A and Group B was significantly higher than that in Group C(P0.05). Objective To analyse the clinical characteristics of drug-fever caused by ?-lactams antibiotics and provide the basic information for diagnosis of patients with drug-fever,and profile the drug fever due to antimicrobil agent.Methods In this study,64 hospitalized cases between 2000 and 2006 were enrolled who had drug-fever during antiinfective treatment.Results Most medications can cause fever,so as ?-lactams Antibiotics,with or without concomitant clinical manifestations.The fever could arise from the drug's pharmacologic action,its effects on thermoregulation,a local complication following parenteral administration,or an idiosyncratic response.Patients with drug-fever caused by ?-lactams,their temperature droped to normal level while ?-lactams discontinued for about 24h~48h,and without any linger effect.Conclusions Drug-fever is mainly caused by ?-lactams antibiotics like piperacillin sodium.It is important that doctors should bear the drug-fever in mind to avoid misdiagnosis.

Purpose: To explore the relationship between the effect of docetaxel inducing apoptosis of non-small-cell lung cancer cell and intracellular level of reactive oxygen. Methods: SPC-AI lung cancer cells were treated with 10 -8mol/L docetaxel for 24 hours to observe the apoptotic morphological change under the electromicroscope and fluorescence microscope in ritro. The treated cells were harvested to analyze the cell cycles using flow cytometry and to estimate the intracellular reactive oxygen levels by staining with 2', 7-dichlorodihydrofluorescein diacetate and dihydroethidine. Results: After SPC-AI lung cancer cells were exposed to 10 ~ mol/L docetaxel for 24 hours, the typical apoptotic morphological changes were observed under the electromicroscope and fluorescence microscope. There was a higher reactive oxygen level in docetaxe-treated cells group than in control group. After 24 hours docetaxel exposure, there was a significant G2 ~'M phase arrest of SPC-AI lung cancer cells. Conclusions: Docetaxel can induce apoptosis in SPC-AI lung cancer cells through the mechanism of G2 ~ M phase arrest and by elevating intracellular level of reactive oxygen.

The cytogenotoxic effect of Na_2SeO_3 on lymphocytes in human whole blood culture was studied. This was done by means of analysis of sisterchromatid exchange (SCE) and determination of unscheduled DNA synthesis (UDS) with the use of scintillometric procedure and autoradiographic observation. The experiments showed that Na_2SeO_3induced a significant increase of SCE value and higher levels of UDS. These results indicate that Na_2SeO_3 has DNA-damaging potential and cytogenotocity, its threshold concentration was 6.48?10~(-7)mol/L.
