Objective To observe the effect of therapeutics of invigorating spleen and kidney, removing blood stasis and clearing away turbidness on lipid metabolism and renal function in patients with chronic renal failure (CRF). Methods Fifty-eight patients with CRF were randomly divided into the treated group (30 cases) and the control group (28 cases). Both groups were treated with low-protein diets, controlling hypertension and symptomatic treatment. And Chinese drugs for invigorating spleen and kidney, removing blood stasis and clearing away turbidness were given additionally to the treated group. The curative effect, renal function and lipid metabolism were observed after two months. Results TC, TG and APOB in the treated group lowered significantly, HDL-C and APOAⅠraised significantly after treatment (P0.05). Objective To compare Vecchietti′s and Davydov′s laparoscopic techniques for vagino-plasty in patients with Mayer-Rokitansky-Küster-Hauser (MRKH) syndrome. Methods From January 2010 to December 2013, 13 patients underwent the Vecchietti′s laparoscopic procedure (Vecchietti group), and 15 patients underwent the Davydov′s laparoscopic procedure (Davydov group). Intraoperative parameters and postoperative results were compared. Results Both of the two groups were successfully treated. The neovagina in both groups were wide with good elasticity, softness and smoothness. The operation time [(39± 7) versus (73 ± 11) minutes], the intraoperative blood loss [(21 ± 6) versus (63 ± 10) ml], the anal exsufflation time after surgery [(19 ± 5) versus (28 ± 6) hours] and the recovery period of body temperature after surgery [(35 ± 10) versus (46 ± 10) hours] of the Vecchietti group were less than those of the Davydov group (all P<0.05). But the neovagina length [(8.8±0.5) versus (9.6±0.5) cm] was shorter and the Female Sexual Function Index scale score [26.8 ± 2.0 versus 28.5 ± 1.7] was lower in the Vecchietti group than those in the Davydov group (all P<0.05). The postoperation hospital duration didn′t reached statistical difference between the two groups [(7.5 ± 0.9) versus (7.1 ± 0.7) days, P>0.05]. No intraoperative complication occurred. After surgery, 2 patients were found vaginal polyps and 8 patients were suffered from pain in the Davydov group, while all patients were suffered from pain in the Vecchietti group. Conclusions Both Vecchietti′s and Davydov′s laparoscopic techniques are simple, safe and effective surgical methods for vaginal reconstruction. In contrast, the Vecchietti′s procedure is more time efficient and minimally invasive, while the Davydov′s procedure can get less pain, longer vagina and higher sexual satisfaction.

Abstract Female stress urinary incontinence (SUI) is a major global public health problem, and its involuntary urinary leakage may seriously affect patients' quality of life. The pathophysiological changes in muscle, connective and nerve tissues induced by diabetes have been found to be strongly correlated with the development and progression of SUI. This review summarizes the association between diabetes and SUI in women and the underlying pathophysiological mechanisms, so as to provide insights into prevention of SUI among female patients with diabetes.

Objective To summarize the clinical experiences of total cavopulmonary connection (TCPC), investigate the applications and short and mid term effects. Methods From 1999 to 2007,31 patients with complex congenital heart disease underwent TCPC. All patients were divided into child group(≤16 years old ,n =21 ) and a-dult group( n = 10 ), including 15 cases of functional univentricle, 8 cases of complete atrioventricular septal defect with double outlet of right ventricle, 3 cases of transposition with double outlet right ventricle, 3 cases of tricuspid atresia, 1 case of double outlet of right ventricle with hypoplastic left heart. 1 case of corrected transposition of the great arteries with TOF. Among them, 1 patient had cortriatriatum, 10 patients had left superior vena cave, moderate or severe mitral valve insufficiency occurred in 1, moderate atrioventricular valve insufficiency occurred in 3.28 pa-tients underwent TCPC with cardiopulmonary bypass ( CPB ) and 3 patients without CPB ;Of them, 21 patients were treated with extracardiac conduit and 10 cases with intratrial lateral tunnel. Results There was no early death,post-operative death or large quantities of pleural effusion in child group;but two deaths and three patients with large quantities of pleural effusion in adult group. One case caught up in inferior venous stasis and was cured. Follow- up was carded out from 6 months to 6 years. 26 patients were in NYHA class Ⅰ ,2 patients in NYHA class Ⅱ and only one patient in NYHA class Ⅲ. Conclusions TCPC is effectively used for complex congenital heart disease which can not be corrected in anatomy;serious postoperative complications often occur in adults. Atrioventricular valve in-sufficiency decisively affects the short and midterm effects, even the long-term effects.

Objective To study the brain protection of sequential double-sided antegrade cerebral perfusion to central nervous system in arotie arch surgery. Methods 24 patients received aortic arch replacement under deep hyperthermic circulatory arrest (DHCA) ,with fight-sided, and following double-sided, and left-sided,if necessary, antagrade cerebral perfnsion through right axillary arterial cannula or right femoral arterial eannula homeochronously. Post-operation recovery and the central nervous complications (CNC) were recorded and analyzed. Results 2 cases died, one of whom died of refractory low cardiac output syndrome and the other died of late massive gastrointestinal tract hemorrhage. No patient suffered severe CNC. Conclusion Sequential double-sided antegrade cerebral perfusion combined with DHCA can provide good brain protection in arotic arch replacement.

Objective:To explore the regulation of Recipe Xiaoban No.1 on the expression of p53 in dystrophy of vulva.Methods:Expression of p53 was determined by immunohistochemical technique in skin lesion of prior treatment and posttreatment from 30 cases with chronic vulvar dystrophy,and normal skin from 23 health adults were served as controls.Results: Expression of p53 in various of chronic dystrophy of vulva before treatment was obviously higher than control group(P0.05).Conclusion:Recipe Xiaoban No.1 can obviously improve the clinical symptoms and decrease the expression rate of P53.

Objective:To analyze the levels of arachidonic acid (AA)and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA)in the breast milk of lactating mothers in Changchun City of Jilin Province, and to explore their influence factors. Methods:The lactating mother’s basic information was collected with questionnaire, and the breast milk of lactating mothers on postpartum 22-25 d was obtained and the 3-day 24-hour dietary recall method was used to investigate the dietary intake information of 514 healthy lactating mothers.The Food Composition Table of China 2009 was used to calculate the intakes of five kinds of polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs) in diet of lactating mothers and the gold key nutrition expert system software for corresponding nutrient analysis was used to calculate the amount of various kinds of foods in the lactating mothers’daily diet.The levels of AA and DHA in breast milk were determined with gas chromatography and the linear regression was used to analyze the related factors of AA and DHA levels in breast milk.Results:①The average concentration of AA in breast milk of 514 lactating mothers was (0.08±0.04)g·100 g-1,and the average concentration of DHA was (0.05±0.04)g·100 g-1. ②The single factor correlation analysis results showed that the oil intake was both positively correlated with AA and DHA levels in milk of lactating mothers (r= 0.360,r=0.354,P<0.001),while the intakes of linoleic acid (LA), alpha linolenic acid (ALA),eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA),DHA,dairy and meats and seafood in diet were both negatively correlated with AA (r= -0.321,r=-0.280,r=-0.255,r=-0.299,r=-0.196 ,r=-0.306,P<0.05)and DHA (r=-0.315,r=-0.279,r=-0.175,r=-0.189,r=-0.248,r=-0.142,P<0.05).③The linear regression analysis results showed regression equation that dairy intake (β=-0.265)and EPA intake (β=-0.144)were both negatively correlated with the level of AA (P=0.009),and dairy intake was also negatively correlated with the level of DHA (β=-0.233,P<0.001).Conclusion:The AA and DHA levels in breast milk of lactating mothers didn’t increase with the increasing of intake of milk or dairy products in the study.Moreover there is a competitive relationship between n-6 and n-3 series polyunsaturated fatty acids in the process of metabolism.

OBJECTIVETo determine the normal reference value of pyrrole adducts in urine in young people in a university in Shandong, China, and to provide a reliable basis for the clinical diagnosis of n-hexane poisoning.

METHODSA total of 240 college students were randomly selected. After excluding 32 ineligible students, 208 subjects were included in this study, consisting of 104 males and 104 females, with a mean age of 21?3 years (range: 18 to 24 years). Morning urine was collected from each subject. The content of pyrrole adducts was determined by chromatometry.

RESULTSThe content of pyrrole adducts in both male and female obeyed a positively skewed distribution. The median level of pyrrole adducts in male subjects was 0.88 nmol/ml, and the reference value was 0.14-3.92 nmol/ml. The median level of pyrrole adducts in female subjects was 0.93 nmol/ ml, and the reference value was 0.09-3.27 nmol/ml. Student's t test identified no statistical difference in pyrrole adduct level between male and female subjects (t=0.15, P>0.05).

CONCLUSIONThe median level of pyrrole adducts in normal young people is 0.91 nmol/ml, and the reference value is 0.11-3.95 nmol/ml.

Facial paralysis is treated with key factors such as acupoints selecting based on yangming, acupuncture manipulation, needle retaining time, etc. And the spleen and stomach is fine and good at transportation and transformation; the meridians is harmonious; the qi and blood is smooth. The clinical efficacy is enhanced finally.

Objective The funding management of drug clinical trials is one of the most important step in the management of clinical trials.Strengthening the management of clinical trial funds can improve the efficiency of fund utilization and ensure the smooth implementation of clinical trials.Methods This paper summarizes the problems of clinical trial fund management,proposes some main strategies for fund management based on root cause analysis.Results Through the establishment and improvement of the drug clinical trial fund management system in our hospital,the management of funds is strengthened,the trial carry out more smoothly and the result is more accurate.Conclusions Improving the management system of drug clinical trial funds and standardizing the management of clinical trials is of great significance to ensure the quality of clinical trials.Also it will improve the clinical trial management level of our hospital.
