With the development of screening and early diagnosis for breast cancer, the detected rote of ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS) has increase markedly in recent decades. However, we know little about the biological potential of DCIS and its natural history. Controversy also exists with regard to the optimal management of DCIS.

Objective To determine the content icariin in the extract of Gushuling. Methods HPLC method was performed on Luna C18 column (250 mm?4.6 mm, 5 ?m). The mobile phase consisted of acetonitrile- water (30∶70) and the UV detective wavelength was set at 270 nm. Results The curve of icariin was linear within 0.416～2.496 ?g, Y=2.0?106X-53 810 (r =0.999 9). Conclusion HPLC method is simple, rapid and accurate, and it is suitable for ananlysis of icariin content in extract of Gushuling .

Objective To evaluate the efficacy of nasendoscopic resection of the inner wall of the maxillary sinus for the treatment of inverted papilloma of the nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses.Methods From January 2002 to December 2006,10 patients with nasal inverted papilloma received nasendoscopic resection of the inner wall of the maxillary sinus in our hospital.The clinical data of the patients were anlayzed retrospectively.Results The operation was completed in all the 10 cases.They were follwed up for 12 to 72 months with a mean of 30 months.Only one of the patients had recurrent papilloma in 1 year after the treatment.None of the patients devleoped epiphora.Conclusions Nasendoscopic resection of the inner wall of the maxillary sinus is feasible for patients with nasal inverted papilloma.By using the procedrue,facial scars can be avoided;moreover,owing to a clear surgical field,the surgeons can completely resect the tumor,and the patients have less trauma and low recurrence rate after the treatment.

Objective To explore the clinical effects of diabetic nephropathy treated with enalapril and Yinxingdamo injection. Methods 80 patients were randomly recruited into a control group and a treatment group. The control group was treated with enalapril, and the treatment group was treated with Yinxingdamo injection on the basis of the control group. Results Comparing with the control group, the treatment group could be seen a obvious decrease of 24h UAE, BUN and Cr(P<0.01). Conclusion The therapeutic effects of combined using enalapril and Yinxingdamo injection is better than only using enalapril in treating diabetic nephropathy.

Objective To study the HRCT appearances and diagnostic value of primary Sjgren’s syndrome ( pSS ) . Methods CT images of 12 cases of pSS were retrospectively analyzed . Results CT and HRCT scans showed pulmonary interstitial diseases in different degree mainly localized periphery of lung in all cases,the ground-glass opacity and interlobular septal thickening were preliminary features of pSS.Conclusion The ground-glass opacity of lung is active preliminary features of pSS,while the honeycombed lung is final feature of pSS.HRCT can help to determine the stage of pSS,and to estimate the prognosis in patients with pSS.

Objective To observe the therapeutic effect of periodical treatment of Sanjiexiaopi decoction on hyperplasia of mammary gland during premenstrual phase. Methods 110 cases were randomly recruited into a treatment group and a control group with 55 case in each group. The treatment group was given Sanjiexiaopi decoction 7 days before menstruation, and the control group was given Rupixiao tablet. Both groups received no treatment during menstruation and were treated for three months. Patients in both groups underwent molybdenum target X-ray photographs and infrascan before and after the treatment. Therapeutic effects of the two groups.were compared. Results The total effective rate was 96.4% and 81.8% in the treatment group and the control group respectively. The patients in treatment group showed obvious improvent than the control group in terms of X-ray photographs and infrascan, having statistical significance (P<0.05) . Conclusion Sanjiexiaopi decoction has obvious effects on hyperplasia of mammary gland during premenstrual phase.

Objective To examine the effect of family environment and family function on suicide behavior in schizophrenic patients.Methods 53 schizophrenic patients with suicidal behavior in the last month were selected for the schizophrenic suicide group.53 schizophrenic patients and 53 normal controls matched with the schizophrenic suicide group were selected for the schizophrenic no suicide group and normal control group.All of them completed family environment scale and family assessment device.Results The cohesion factor,the expressiveness factor,the active-recreational orientation factor and the control factor of family environment scale in the schizophrenic suicide group were significant lower than those in the schizophrenic without suicide group(separately 5.70 ± 1.29 vs 6.62± 1.23,4.77 ± 1.49 vs 5.96 ± 1.11,3.94 ± 1.63 vs 5.68 ± 1.98,2.68 ± 1.68 vs 4.40 ± 1.81,P＜ 0.05),but the conflict factor in the schizophrenic suicide group was higher than in the schizophrenic without suicide group(3.55 ± 1.60 vs 2.81 ± 1.52,P ＜ 0.05).The affective responsiveness factor,the affective involvement factor and the behavior control factor of family assessment device in the schizophrenic suicide group were significant lower than those in the schizophrenic without suicide group(separately 16.05 ± 2.57 vs 14.53 ± 3.38,19.13 ± 4.09 vs 16.58 ± 2.82,23.35 ± 3.52 vs 21.60 ± 3.25,P ＜ 0.05).Multiple liner regression analyses showed that the expressiveness factor,the active-recreational orientation factor,the control factor,the affective involvement factor and the behavior control factor were important factors for schizophrenic suicide(F=21.583,P=0.000,adjusted R 2 =0.519).Conclusion Attempted suicide patients with schizophrenia have some deficiencies at family function and family environment.

Objective:To estimate the effect of HSV1-TK/GCV suicide gene therapy on human salivary gland epidermoid carcinoma cell line MEC-1. Methods: Expression vector G 1NAtK containing HSV-TK cDNA was transfected into MEC-1 cells.After transfection, the cells were selected by G418 for two weeks. The integrated gene and mRNA were detected with PCR and RT-PCR. The cytotoxicity and bystander effect were estimated by MTT and typan blue exclusion assay. The morphological changes after GCV treatment were observed with HE and 33258 stain and in situ cell apoptosis detection kit. Results: The 404 bp DNA fragment was amplified through PCR and RT-PCR in the transfected cells respectively. TK positive clone was named MEC-1/TK. The sensitivity of MEC-1/TK to GCV was 1 000 times more than that of parent MEC-1 cells.More than 90% of MEC-1 cells were killed by 10 ?g/ml of GCV when only 10% of MEC-/TK cells were present. The morphological changes included shrinking,detaching and floating of the cells. Some of the cells showed nucleus condensation and breakage of nucleus. A lot of cells showed nucleus positive in in situ apoptosis detection. Conclusion: HSV1-TK/GCV can confer MEC-1/TK cell killing efficiently. MEC-1/TK also has strong bystander effects. HSV1-TK/GCV system confers its effect, in part, by inducing apoptosis in TK positive cells.

Objective To summarize the CT signs and clinic characteristics to improve the CT diagnoses ability on the lobar bronchial intraluminal cancer and provide a well comprehension for it.Methods To study the clinical symptom and CT presentation in 7 cases with the lobar bronchial intraluminal cancer which had been confirmed by bronchoscopy and pathologic exam.Results 3 cases were in right superior lobaris bronchus,1 case in right middle lobaris bronchus,3 cases in left superior lobaris bronchus.Obstructive pneumonia were found in 7 cases.Obstructive atelestasis in 5 cases.The nodules or emboluses within lobaris bronchus were showed by CT in all cases and the obstructive signs on each patient in its degrees. Conclusion To get the CT diagnosis of the lobar bronchial cancer is easily be delayed. But if pay attention and keep it a close combination with clinic, the early diagnosis will be attained on time.
