Objective To evaluate the effect of desflurane on blood flow velocity in the middle cerebral artery (VmMCA) and cerebrospinal fluid pressure (CSFP).Methods Sixty patients were randomly assigned to two groups. In group A,the anesthesia was maintained with desflurane, and in group B, with isoflurane. In either group, patients were allocated to three subgroups according to different doses(05,08,1.1MAC). CSFP was measured through a lumbar subarachnoid catheter before surgical procedures, from induction to administration of the inhalational agent for 45min.VmMCA was measured by transcranial Doppler at baseline , postintubation and administration of agent for 45min. Results As compared with baseline,CSFP increased gradually and reached to 16.90?4.01mmHg in subgroup 1.1MAC of group A (P0.05). Compared with baseline, VmMCA increased significantly at 45th min following administration of agent in subgroup 11MAC of group A(P005). In group A , a significant parallel correlation existed between the MAC levels and the values of VmMCA or CSFP (r=0.52,P

Objective To investigate the influences of hypothermia on hemodynamics and hemorrheology .Methods The body temperature of 10 mongrel dogs decreased at 35℃ ,and was kept for 30 min, and then warmed to normal degree with physical methods. The parameters of hemodynamics and hemorrheology were measured with the polygraph system (RM 6000, Nihon Kohden). Results Compared with the baselines, 30 min following hypothermia heart rate, mean arterial pressure, cardiac output, maximum rate of rise and decline of pressure(?dp/dtmax),cardiac index, left ventricular stroke work index were significantly reduced, while systemic peripheral resistance , blood viscosity were higher than those under normal body temperature (P

Aim To study the synergistic effect and its mechanism of polysaccharide from Ligustrum Lucidum Ait(PLLA)and polysaccharide from Cuscuta Chinensis Lam (PCCL)on antisenility. Methods To observe the effect on immune organs and antioxidation systems of mice with senile model caused by D-galatose (D-gal) and meanwhile administered with PLLA∶PCCL 50 ∶50 mg or 50 mg ∶200 mg or 200 mg ∶50 mg or 200 mg ∶200 mg?kg -1?d -1 designed by orthogonal method. Results Thymus index and spleen index differently rose,MDA differently dropped, activities of SOD and GSH-PX differently ascended in liver and kidneys,LF differently descended in brain of mouse with senile model administered with 50 mg∶50 mg or 50 mg ∶200 mg or 200 mg ∶50 mg or 200 mg ∶200 mg?kg -1?d -1 PLLA ∶PCCL.The statistical analysis indicated that the combination of PLLA with PCCL yielded of notable or extremely notable reciprocal effect on the experimental index of antisenility. Conclusion The combination of PLLA with PCCL can yield notable synergistic effect on antisenility, the optimal combination of both drugs is PLLA ∶PCCL 50 mg ∶200 mg, its mechanism is probably connected with immunity inhacement, eliminati on of oxyen free radicals and active oxyen and antilipoperoxidation.

BACKGROUND: These serial processes for forming male gametes are basically controlled by the programmed expression of a number of stage-specific genes. However, many aspects of the mechanisms of spermatogenesis have remained elusive because of a lack of suitable in vitro or in vivo models.OBJECTIVE: To screen genes involved in spermatogenesis, and to analyze its expression characteristics. METHODS: Testes cDNA samples from Balb/C mice of different postnatal days (4,9,18,35, 54 days and 6 months, respectively) were hybridized with mouse whole genome Affymetrix chip to screen the testis-ralated genes. The characteristics of the selected genes were analyzed by various bioinformatics tools. RT-PCR was used here to identify the expression of the selected genes in mice testis.RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: The Affymetrix chip probe of mouse Tpap was graduated higher expression with developmental stages of mouse testis. The scaling hybridization signal intensities of the tested testis on days 4, 9,18, 35, 54, and 6 months of postnatal were 4.4 (Absent expression, A), 12.9 (A), 262.4 (Present expression, P), 1136.7 (P), 1617.5 (P) and 1128 (P),respectively. These results indicated that the expression of mouse Tpap wasn't detected on days 4 and 9, but was detected on days 18, 35, 54, and 6 months of mouse testis in our Affymetrix chip analysis. By combination with the RT-PCR analysis of mouse Tpap, we observed mouse Tpap began to express at the age of day 18 in mouse. Tpap is an age-dependent gene in mouse testis. The expression of Tpap corresponds to the appearance of spermatids of mice and indicates that Tpap may have an important role in male mammalian spermatogenesis.

Objective To investigate the effect of warfarin on coagulation and hemorheology in patients with atrial fibrillation. Methods 106 cases of admitted in our hospital from October 2014 to October 2016 were randomly divided into observation group(53 cases)and control group(53 cases). The control group re-ceived routine treatment, the observation group received routine and warfarin treatment. The two groups were treated for 4 weeks. The therapeutic effects were compared between the two groups. Before and after treat-ment,indicators of heart function, blood coagulation and hemorheology were observed. Results The total effi-ciency of observation group(92.45%)was higher than that of the control group(73.58%,P<0.05).After treatment, the TT and APTT of the two groups both increased(P<0.05);The TT and APTT of the observa-tion group were higher than that of the control group(P<0.05);The plasma viscosity, erythrocyte aggrega-tion index, and fibrinogen of the two groups decreased(P<0.05);The plasma viscosity, erythrocyte aggrega-tion index, fibrinogen of the observation group were lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclu-sion Warfarin has obvious curative effect on patients with atrial fibrillation, and can improve the function of blood coagulation and hemorheology.

Objective To evaluate the therapeutic effects and safety of acitretin for severe inherited keratodermas in children and adolescents. Methods Acitretin was given to 23 children and adolescents with either lamellar ichthyosis, bulbous ichthyosiform erythroderma, pityriasis rubra pillars, progressive sym- metrical erythrokeratoderma, keratitis ichthyosis deafness syndrome, generalized porokeratosis, inflammatory liner verrucous epidermal nevus, ichthyosis hystrix and non-bullous ichthyosiform erythroderma. The thera- peutic dosage was 0.67-1.07 mg/(kg?d),and maintenance dosage 0.08-0.94 mg/(kg?d).The effects on the patients' growth and development of the drug were evaluated based on the changes of body weight and height in the children. The total follow-up period was 6-35 months in an interval of 1-3 months. Results The considerable overall improvement was achieved after 1-6 months' treatment, with an overall clinical cure rate of 82.6%. Only one case responded poorly to the therapy. The excellent responses were observed in patients with bulbous ichthyosiform erythroderma, lamellar ichthyosis, and pityriasis rubra pillars, etc, and the much poor responses in ichthyosis hystrix. The most frequent adverse reaction was mild to moderate dry lips (65.2%),the next were pruritus(39.1%),skin fragility(34.8%),and dry mouth(30.4%).The less frequent adverse reactions were alopecia(13%),anorexia(8.7%),headache (4.3%) and hypoacusis (4.3%).No effects on the growth and development were found in those children during the follow up period. Conclusions The considerable overall improvement is achieved with the acitretin therapy for children and adolescents with inherited keratodermas, with only mild to moderate adverse reactions and no effects on the growth and development in the children.
