Objective To investigate the proliferation and the change of antigen on the cord blood CIK cells. Methods Cord blood CIK cells were generated by culture cord blood mononuclear cells in the presence of ?-IFN on day 0 and rhIL-2, antiCD3 MCAb on day 1. CIK cultures were analysed on different time point by FACS(Fluorescence activated cell sorter). The killing efficacy in tumor cell lines and primary leukemia cells were detected by MTT assay. Results After 2~3 weeks of culturing cord blood CIK cells expanded about 64.14?16 folds and CD+3 CD+56 cells which were the major cytolytic effector in CIK cells proliferated about 900 folds. Cord blood CIK cells have great cytotoxity against tumor cell lines as well as primary leukemia cells. Conclusions Cord blood MNCs can be cultured to CIK cells and the times of expansion are very high. Cord Blood CIK cells are highly efficient cytolytic effector cells.

To apply more precise upper airway modeling and computer fluid dynamic technology, and simulate the upper airways of the fluid velocity, flow field distribution and pressure changes on 1 case of OSAHS patients before and after surgery. At home and abroad, computer fluid dynamic has been applied to research on human airway and predict curative effect before and after operation, but the study of the whole upper airway fluid physics parameter is less within normal people and sick people, more the lack of large sample research. The application of this technology can lay the foundation to establish normal people and sick people upper airways database, formulate normative operation and research process, the quantitative domestic normal population and pathological airway blocking criteria of each plane, develop a handling the precision of simulation software and the curative effect of surgical or medical treatment evaluation system, and open up the new train of thought of OSAHS patients diagnosis and treatment.

Objective To study the clinical application of ureteral grasping forceps in ureteroscopic operations. Methods A total of 74 cases treated under ureteroscope by using ureteral grasping forceps from April 2001 to July 2003 in this hospital was retrospectively analyzed. There were 25 cases of polyp resection and pneumatic lithotrity, 21 cases of rigid guidance through ureteral retortion, 19 cases of ureteral stricture dilation and ureteroscopic lithotrity, 3 cases of whole ureteral membranous obstruction, 3 cases of ascending shift of double “J” tube, 2 cases of intraoperative biopsy,4 cases of removal of double “J” tube with urethral stricture, and 2 cases of pneumatic lithotrity. Results The procedures were successfully accomplished in 69 cases.A conversion to open operation was required because of malfunction of ureteral grasping forceps in 1 case, and ureteral perforation occurred in 4 cases. Conclusions Ureteral grasping forceps is indispensable in ureteroscopic operations, which should be skillfully operated.

Objective To explore the therapeutic efficacy of posterior internal fixation and anterior debride-ment with autogenous bone grafts at one stage on tuberculosis of thoracic or lumbar spine . Methods 16 cases of thoracic or lumbar spinal tuberculosis patients were treated with combined anterior (radical debridement and bone autograft) and posterior (instrumentation) surgeries in one stage between September 2003 and September 2007. The degree of the kyphosis (Cobb angle) was measured and the interbody fusion was observed preoperatively and postop-eratively. The ASIA grading system was used to assess the neurological status. Results All patients were followed up for 10 months to 36 months,on average of 12 months. All patients showed sucessful interbedy fusion, but Cobb angle was not progressed. No recurrence or wound infection was found. 6 cases all got nerve function recovery. Conclusion Thoracic or lumbar tuberculosis treated with this surgical technique can achieve stable internal fixation and a high satisfactory rate with restoring the spinal stability, arresting the disease early, providing early fusion, correcting the ky-pbosis particularly.
